An album with rock sounds, full of depth and joy, mixes sounds that remind me of Pink Floyd, lyrics that characterize Lana for intense and full of feelings.

Lana is being herself, not faking it.Dived into the music indutstry where is full of sameness, but her boldness and her persistence made the industry more diverse and encouraging the young generation to create something without self-questioning or thinking too much about whether should fit in the majority.

This album was pure gold. It was a beautiful return as Lizzy Grant, with the delicate, romantic rhythms and recurring motifs of America making this album a beautiful work of art. NFR was a sharp turn from the pop-infused Lust for Life album, but it still managed to maintain the sensuous lyrics that are true to Lana.

Lana Del Rey is a Visionary. Voice of a generation. What continues to make Lana great is the layers of references within her music. You can indulge yourself into each song and learn about rock n roll history just from doing so.

Things inevitably drift, but beneath the surface in the best songs there is a toughness and a newfound resilience.

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
