    Lana Del Rey did THAT!
This new album it’s like a mixing of two of her albums "Ultraviolence" and "Honeymoon", serving all of the beautiful and powerful instrumentals and also soft but strong vocals, Lana gets real with the lyrical content in this album

Lana Del Rey once again delivered a stellar record, but this may just be her best to date. The title track provides the perfect opener for the album, with an orchestral instrumental and swooning vocals, and Tracks such as "Cinnamon Girl" and "Happiness is a Butterfly" deliver the beauty and thoughtfulness in her lyrics.

With Norman ******* Rockwell, a wonderfully well produced and written record, Lana shows why she's known as the indie/alternative queen.

It's so beautiful. Lana is such an evolving artist. She has really matured and found her voice through her music, which is very apparent in this album. Certain bits resemble some albums from her past, but she finds a way to make it fresh and equally, if not more, brilliant.

Things inevitably drift, but beneath the surface in the best songs there is a toughness and a newfound resilience.

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
