Her best album. Combines the introspective delicateness present throughout Honeymoon with the soaring acoustic production of Lust For Life’s stellar second half. A soft yet psychedelic journey, with all the maturity and growth you would expect from album numbers 6.

It's a piece of art. Norman **** Rockwell!! It's the best record that Lana Del Rey has done. Deserves the Grammy.

Lana Del Rey's best album, and for me it's just the best album of 2019 so far.

The Greatest.

Lyrically ties with Honeymoon as my favourite albums of Lana's. Sonically gives a very if Ultraviolence and Lizzy Grant had a baby vibe.

One of Lana's best body of work. You can truly notice the way she picked up from the end of Lust for Life and Changed (pun intended) into a more positive sound which embraces another side of her. However, there's still the melancholy feeling (which Lana is known for) lingering throughout the album up until the end on the last track where she states she's not happy, but she's also not sad.One of Lana's best body of work. Her upcoming album in 2020 is bound to be her most unusual and 'happiest' album in her discography. 10/10 Expand

Every song -especially Venice B*tch- has an excellent production (thanks to Jack Antonoff who did a great job), and all of them are written so beautifully. Also Lana del Rey's voice is unique like in her other records. I highly recommend hearing Norman F*cking Rockwell!

Expand

Things inevitably drift, but beneath the surface in the best songs there is a toughness and a newfound resilience.

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
