    While the more varied lysergic whoosh of their previous two albums remains a better introduction for newcomers, for veterans able to handle dry heat, Negative Feedback Resistor inflicts an electric maelstrom.

    It's not that the depth isn't there, it's just that the experience is multidimensional enough to bring forth a flatness; a sense of unity which discards dimensions.

    It’s disorienting, upsetting, and edges toward unlistenable in its brutalist structures. But it’s a reminder that even if claustrophobia’s an unpleasant feeling, it’s always a powerful one.
