    This album is a shift for Grande. Once her people discovered she was marketable, they decided to make her a pop star, and they did a successful job. It's well produced and it has the songs that America wants to hear. However; her originality isn't necessarily there, but she delivered and cemented herself as a fresh faced diva ready to rule the charts.

    Tirando as farofas que viraram single (sem contar 'One Last Time' que não é farofa), as outras faixas são bem legais, mas não foi nada surpreendente, nada tão ual, ficou na mesmice de sempre, um album com elementos de R&B/Rap e POP, algo bom, mas não incrivel.
    Destaque para 'My Everything', 'Just a Little Bit of Your Heart', 'You Don't Know Me', 'One Last Time', 'Why Try' e 'Be My Baby'.

    I am aware this album is purely commercial, but it's actually pretty well-made. I thought this would be saturated with electropop but it's actually well balanced with more R&B chill songs. Even though the lack of emotion is sometimes too obvious within the melodies and impersonal production, It's a pretty pleasant listen.

    El un album bueno, creo que el más sincero que ha hecho. Hay canciones buenas como "Why Try", "Be My Baby", "My Everything" y "Only 1", las letras muestran a Grande muy vulnerable ante el amor y eso para mi es tierno. Pero hay otras canciones bastante desagradables y fuera de lugar como "Problem" y "Break Free" quedan fuera del contexto del álbum y "Too Close" es una copia barata de "I'veEl un album bueno, creo que el más sincero que ha hecho. Hay canciones buenas como "Why Try", "Be My Baby", "My Everything" y "Only 1", las letras muestran a Grande muy vulnerable ante el amor y eso para mi es tierno.     Amazing album by Ariana Grande! This has similar aspects to 'Yours Truly' but you can hear that she has matured and is exploring more types of music such as EDM. 'Yours Truly' is one of my favorite albums of all time and I don't think this album gave the same effect but that doesn't mean that is wasn't still amazing.

    In this album, Ariana goes in a different way that she went with her debut 'Yours Truly'. Despite being full of bops, the record couldn't manage to keep the same quality of her previous record. Putting the quality aside, this album was important to put Ari in the spotlight of the music industry making her one of the biggest revelations of the decade.

    Um bom álbum, mas Tracklist bagunçada e com muitos featurings. Zedd e Cashmere Cat não deveriam ter sido creditados em Break Free r Be My Baby, respectivamente.

    I think that "My Everything" is less cohesive than "Yours Truly". But in general, it's still a good album. I love her vocal so much. Some tracks are a little bit boring and too generic. Not really impressive. Some tracks I really love : "Love Me Harder", "My Everything". "Break Free", "Be My Baby", and "Why Try" are also good songs too. They made me feel emotional and chill.

    Segundo album da Ariana, ela trabalhou bem nesse album pois conseguiu trazer artistas que transformaram seu album ótimo para os charts como a Iggy Azalea, The Weeknd, Big Sean e entre outros. Resumindo é um album pop perfeição.

    not my fav for sure! this album looks like a 2014 completely messy playlist… but there are great songs!!! i love the majority of them, but you can tell this is not an organized album. “but you can play it in any sequence” but is still a mess. some songs are weird. anyways, still a bop and worth listening!

    Ariana’s 2nd album gave us the yours truly vibe but a little more adult and madure. The album had a big comercial potential with artists like Iggy Azalea and The Weekend, probably this is the begging of pop star Ariana that we know.

    Ariana's debut album, Yours Truly is still one of my most cherised albums. However, this album has gone too mainstream and Ariana's unique voice is beginning to fade due to the direction she's taking as it shows on the album. The album lacks originality and due to that, it just becomes another pop album.

    Gone is the lush live instrumentation, the simple sound driven by her powerful vocals. Gone are the flowery dresses and Nickelodeon shows and live streams. Ariana is now as poppy as Selena Gomez, as unclothed as Iggy Azalea or Miley Cyrus, and rarely goes beyond "Im so excited" in terms of interview depth.

    Sigh. Still, even for a typical mainstream pop album, her vocals manage to keep it interesting. Not bad, but she could have done better. She is conforming, and Im not a fan.    … Expand

    Still, there are some good tracks in here (e.g Break Your Heart Right Back, Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart , which is Harry-Styles-penned, and You Don't Know Me), and Grande's vocals are at times flawless. Overall, the album is quite manufactured and generic, but it does serve as a great companion to her recent ascent to pop princess.     She's mastered pure pop, now she just needs to put meaning into her songs. While a few of these songs may be quite infectious, once you listen to the album as a whole, you see that each beat sounds very similar to each other. She has tremendous potential, however she does not showcase it very well in this album.

Yours Truly had the innocent yet fun aspect to it, and Dangerous Woman just oozes with sex appeal. My Everything is a bit basic. The album is packed with numerous radio friendly smash hits i.e. Problem and BreakIt is fair to see that My Everything has surpassed the Sophomore Slump of albums. However when put into perspective with the rest of Grande's discography, this is her poorest. Yours Truly had the innocent yet fun aspect to it, and Dangerous Woman just oozes with sex appeal.     "My Everything" is the album that pushed Ariana Grande to a bigger place than she was before. We can't deny the pop hits this album produced. However, those hits were generic and forgettable. The project has really good songs but really bad songs too. I will stay with the ballads and "Love Me Harder".

Despite Grande's good versatility in knowing how to sing different styles with a surprising voice to say the least, the album lacks such a cohesion as to outline a precise sound line. The tracklist is not compact and lacks a unifying theme. However, the positive development of the singer both vocally and lyrically is immediately evident, although some exceptions denote an artistic personality not yet fully developed.
    Overall, My Everything is a sufficient level record, whose main purpose seems to be to place Grande within the commercial competition of the pop music industry. Nonetheless, it doesn’t fully represent Grande’s talent and artistic potential.    … Expand

    It seems promising at first, but even before the half I already had enough, the course she takes turns out to be no personality and predictable. Despite the great voice, she can not convey feeling, and ends making everything too generic and forgettable.

My Everything relies more on having featured artists although most tracks off the album with featured artists (Big Sean, Cashmere Cat, A$AP Ferg) are all tracks that are not even worth downloading. Out of the 17 tracks off the album I only enjoyed 8. My Everything could have been something beautiful and poppy if Grande would have made the album an EP. It's hard to just forget some of the mess up's that My Everything carries on it's shoulders. My Everything has a lot of great songs and a lot of not so good songs.    … Expand

    Não é o melhor trabalho dela, comparado com o anterior, ela se cagou toda. Espero que o sucessor dessa palhaçada sejam infinitivamente melhores que isso!!! Ariana Grande-Butera, você deu um tiro no próprio pé!!! Ninguém aguenta mais farofa e você me vem com um álbum desses!! Ridícula!!!

    There's some really good pop hits on here and Ariana's features always step up. As always, excellent vocals. Still, a major negative plaguing the album is the typical cash-grab philosophy that the vast majority of pop adheres to.

    My Everything, Ariana Grande’s second album, is a follow up to Yours Truly, released less than a year after her successful debut. I was excited to listen to My Everything, as I had enjoyed a lot of Grande’s first album, though I will admit that I was disappointed by this album. It’s not horrible, I guess, but it’s not a masterpiece, either. My Everything mixes stunning songs that almost make me cry with generic current hip hop that contains a significant amount of adult content. It’s a shame how a lot of current music is like that in this day and age. My Everything begins with Intro, which is just what the title implies. It is short and sweet, at 1:20, but it packs in a lot of opens up the album effectively with good lyrics accompanied by calm music; I really enjoyed its piano. I reacted to Problem in a similar way that I would have reacted to a better version of Taylor Swift’s song Look What You Made Me Do. I really liked the music in the verses (the horn riff was awesome), but it really deteriorated in the chorus, with the very odd whisper-singing. One Last Time was great, I really loved its lyrics, as well as its fun and catchy music (the guitar riffs that followed the melody were superb). Why Try was another good song. Its music was pretty good (there was a little bit of low profile electronic drums, but besides that it was okay) and its lyrics were great. I had mixed feelings about Break Free. On one hand, this is an upbeat song that is really hyped up. On the other hand, some parts of this song are just flat out weird, like the ending. The parts I did like I loved though. Best Mistake was ruined by its use of an annoying electronic snare drum that was really unnecessary, as the song would have been better if the piano used was the only instrument. Be My Baby had somewhat weak lyrics, but its music was better than that of Best Mistake. I enjoyed the story created by Break Your Heart Right Back along with its absolutely wonderful lyrics, and I loved most of the things that made up the music. Its bassline and electric guitar riffs were top notch, but the electronic drum kit it used was distracting. Love Me Harder was fantastic, as it had really upbeat music, and I loved its outstanding lyrics and message. It might have been a little repetitive but the music was good enough that this issue didn’t matter. Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart was amazing because it had very powerful lyrics, it was overflowing with emotion, and the piano and strings worked really well together. I was so happy with Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart that I wasn’t prepared for the shock that Hands On Me would bring. This was an awful song that was overly sexualized and had mediocre music: a recipe for a bad score. The titular track contained a lot of power and emotion in its lyrics, which was amazing, and adding to this power was how it explored the very relatable subject of loving someone who doesn’t love you back. I felt “eh” about Bang Bang. I liked the upbeatness behind it, as well as the real instruments that were used, though I feel like this song’s lyrics were too adult for a mainstream radio song, and something about it was just annoying. Only 1 was noticeably autotuned, which is too much in my eyes. Besides that, I really enjoyed the music, but the lyrics were just okay, along with being a little repetitive. You Don’t Know Me was super electronic, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case there was lots of autotune and the lyrics were a little hard to understand. The acoustic guitar was kinda fun though, and I liked the message behind this song. I just think that this was an interesting choice to end on this song, as I think a song like My Everything would have been a better closer. Overall, I had mixed feelings about My Everything, since there are two really great songs, a few meh songs, and everything in between. Fans of current music should like this album, as perhaps will some lovers of pop, but it’s hard to say about other people. I am excited to listen to more of Ariana Grande’s stuff, though the 1.5 point drop over the time span of one album is interesting and hopefully this trend does not continue. Highlights: One Last Time, Love Me Harder, and Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart.    … Expand

    It's not an album that would catch me as many times as I listen. But it's a basic and average album. Ariana seems to be testing new sounds, and sounds and maybe it will make her risk and sin at many points. I missed compositions that touches my heart and productions totally well made for something that burst on charts. In the future something much better may come.

    I was not a fan of ariana before and i still aint because her music videos all contain mature content which is unrelated and irrelevan to her lyrics. Her voice sounds hoarse live although her records record a wholesome and pure voice.

    The lyricism of this album is abhorrently terrible, composing mostly of "na na na". The production is generic as can be, and the feature appearance from Iggy Azalea is abysmal.

    Do not purchase this album. Instead, buy a Mariah Carey album for the same experience but with slightly better lyricism and much more unique musical production.
