May 19, 2025Ken Carson makes music to be overpowered by and to lose oneself in its sheer magnitude, and More Chaos accomplishes that once again.
-
Apr 17, 2025As a whole, More Chaos is a lateral move, not a step up.
-
Apr 17, 2025In the end, ‘More Chaos’ does exactly what it says on the tin: it’s overloaded, aggressive, and unruly – and that’s the point.

Apr 17, 2025The beats are claustrophobic and messy — they leave no room for breath, or perspective. The prevailing mood is agitated anxiety. Carson lacks Carti’s innovative spirit, or his outright oddity — he’s simply living in one of the lanes Carti chiseled out five years ago. .... The back half of the album is more lyrically vivid; there are flickers of warmth and even self-doubt on “Kryptonite” and “Thx.”
