    I've been obsessed with this album for over a year. I'll be honest and say that I had never thought to leave a review on here, but was recently inspired to relisten to the album and wanted to leave a review. Zayn is a true lyricist and has an ear for music, which you can see clearly from songs like BeFour, She, and Drunk. The album works so well together and tells a story of someone who'sI've been obsessed with this album for over a year. I'll be honest and say that I had never thought to leave a review on here, but was recently inspired to relisten to the album and wanted to leave a review. Zayn is a true lyricist and has an ear for music, which you can see clearly from songs like BeFour, She, and Drunk. The album works so well together and tells a story of someone who's dealing with a mix of struggles that range from toxic relationships to his own anxiety and loneliness. It's a wonderful listen and I'd recommend it to people who enjoy this genre of alternative rnb with pop infusions. There's honestly a little bit of different genres in this album, he really experimented and more than anything else, showed pieces of his own identity, which i really enjoy in a musician. You walk away knowing a bit more about Zayn Malik the artist. I'm so excited for him to continue making music, he's got a real talent.… Expand

    Great mix of up-tempo production and soulful, jazzy production. Lyrics are great too. Zayn did it again. Favourite songs: WRONG. TIO. LUCOZADE. Cemented himself as one of the greatest.

    After one year of its release MoM is still a banger when played in my car. You can feel his blood, sweat, and tears in this album...the frustration of getting his voice out there when in 1D, yeah he was there, but was heavily muted (e.g. backup vocals). Here he shows his strengths in this album, but in return (that is outside from the album) we also saw his vulnerability. It's a shame thatAfter one year of its release MoM is still a banger when played in my car. It's a shame that his anxiety crippled him to perform in public, but when he does, I'm sure it music to the audiences' ears. My daughter introduced me to 1D and Zayn was my instant favorite because of the soulful voice he exuded when he sang for/with the group. In my opinion, he put a glue to that group (and that became apparent when he left and the group released Made in the AM). That said, my fave song in the album is Rear View, followed by Take it Off (TiO), and Like I would...just smooth in every way for me. His voice reaches into my soul, something that's been lacking in music lately. I hope for the best for Zayn, looking forward to hear what else he wants to release to the world.… Expand

    Never was a 1D fan, but this is something realllyyyy good. Excellent work. BeFour, TiO, Like I Would, She don"t love me, It's you and i can go on. Impressed.

    zayn managed to put it all together. he found his real self . rnb is definitely his kind of music. his amazing vocals is just perfect for this album. he's definitely off to a great start

    There is no doubt that Zayn has done something different with this album. Even starting with the way his tracklist is written. You can say that it's childish, but that's how he wanted to express himself and for someone that's been in a cage for five years that is more than okay! This album, in my personal opinion, is one of the best that has been released so far this year! The beats are really amazing work. Zayn has done well choosing Malay Ho, MYKL and the mysterious xyz as his producers. It all comes together very nicely on this record. If you listen closely and know a little bit of Zayn and his story, the lyrics are really deep too and show a lot of him and his story. Every song is very unique and special in its own way and in my opinion, there is not one bad song on there. His vocal abilities are also getting displayed very nicely. Yes, that boy can really sing.     I LOVE Zayn & at first I didn't really expect much from his debut to be completely honest, I thought it would be a glossed over album that everyone would toss aside but he surprised me. For one thing he's singing music that's compliments his voice, and he's carving his own niche which proves a sign that he's serious and wanted to be a singer from the get go.     Esse álbum é maravilhoso!
    Não me decepcionou nem um pouquinho,Zayn evoluiu bastante e esse álbum mostra isso.
    Mostra tudo o que o Zayn queria e não podia quando estava "preso" a One Direction.

    I actually loved it ,every single song well except blue, they all flowed so well together, the rhythm the beat, the pain, the loneliness, toxic relationships, needing a friend, doubting yourself, struggling to trust and being afraid to open up to people, being afraid of being hurt, they all said a story, I loved it

    Album has a confessional vibe and it seems it tries to convey all the feelings of self doubt and of feeiling completely lost and alone but again for the first time able to express himself. It really conveys this melancholy of regret and hope, when you are at the crossroads in your life.     I was curious recently about this guy, last year i ignored the hype and i forgot about it but then i decided to give it a chance. And let me tell you something, it's brillant!! You'll travel between nostalgics vibes, influences as (but not copy) of Frank Ocean, D'angelo and Usher, among others. Pretty smooth, the transiton of melodies to each song is what makes the title "Mind of Mine"I was curious recently about this guy, last year i ignored the hype and i forgot about it but then i decided to give it a chance.     Great album, his vocal ability is amazing and the songs are wonderful. If you have listened to one direction's albums you can tell that they didn't let him have any freedom there. You can totally see his personality through this album now that he is able to sing anything he wants to. I'm excited to see him growing as an artist.

    a great album! maybe the lyrics are not the great thing (generally are sex songs) but the production in the album is really great, ZAYN and his team did this so carefully!

    Zayn neste álbum mostra sua simplicidade , humildade , seu talento e ainda mais .. ele traz músicas confortáveis de se ouvir , alguns erros se tem em questão de músicas que poderiam ser bem mais , mas nada impede de eu dar nota 10 nesse álbum maravilhoso.

There is no song that makes me feel bored, each one is unique... he is a great artist, glad he left 1d to become what he wanted, also I hope the other 1d members albums to be as good as MoM was.     eu estava aguardando muito esse album, e eu adorei, simplesmente meu bolinho soube muito bem escolher e compor suas musicas. eu realmente adorei, e se tansformou em meu album favorito, onde eu escuto todos os dias, desde pillowtalk até golden. parabens zayn iconico

    20 best songs u can find in a single album..voice of an angel...he is the top vocalist of this generation...befour is awesome and the long high note **** incredible.. transition between the songs is as smooth as his voice..my favourite is rear view and lucozade and borderz... excellent album..

    "Zayn Malik has finally shown the world what he can do, and we ought to be glad that he did. This album is a surefire way to get in the mood, but also catchy enough for just chilling and "blazing on that new found haze" like Zayn does in the song "lUcOzAdE." "Mind of Mine" successfully showcases Malik's shining talent and recognizes the sweet and sensual aspect of R&B.

    Versatility is the key to this album, you can hear the different genres in which Zayn was inspired without actually copying them. It is rather a tribute, with a stamp of his own. Top Tracks: Befour, Pillowtalk, She Do not Love Me.

    [ENGLISH] I like some songs like "fOol fOr YoU", "dRuNk", "BeFoUr". Anyway, I think this album is better than One Direction's last album.

    Zayn wished he was Drake. Too bad he aint that good. Props for trying to be drake though but zayn will never be successful as drake. He should have stayed in 1D where he belongs and his level.

    It feels like he's forced his new kind of music, the sound is a powerful atmosphere, the album shows his influences: Chris Brown/Drake and The Weeknd, there is a few moments when you are enjoying the song and then drops in a disappointed way. Nice try.
    Good Vocals.
    Not bad production.
    Mediocrity composition.
    Poor Lyrics.

    It's better than his works with One Direction. Anyways I still don't feel very attached to this album.. nothing personal. I just don't like it very much. There are some goods songs like Befour and Drunk. PS Am I the only one who really feels uncomfortable reading the songs titles TyPeD lIkE tHiS?

    So unoriginal and boring. All songs are alike. I've been waiting for this album for so long. So dissapointed in Zayn. And, yes it does sound like the Weeknd!

    His vocal skills help pave over the (rare) moments when the lyrics seem a bit juvenile or the sound feels a little too familiar, and help make Mind of Mine an impressive debut. It's music he couldn't have made with One Direction and while it may not be breaking any new ground, it's new for him and he's talented enough to make that interesting for anyone who likes well-made pop music.

    Mind of Mine leaps right over anything on Justified and carves a path of its own. Next decade’s boybands will doubtless provoke discussion on which of them will break out like this, which one will be a Zayn.
