    Strange but wonderful, it feels really alt but at the same time aesthetic. With beautifuñ ñyrics and some wild lyrics Cyrus give us a really good album.

    This album feels like Miley's magnum opus, at least so far in her career. Dead Petz shows so much growth for her. I love that this album feels like a peek into Miley's brain. It's gnarly and psychedelic. You get the best of both world here (ha-ha), with both fast-paced songs to dance to and heartfelt ballads. Truly one of my favorite albums of all time!

    It's a different sound it's calm. Lyrics suits with the psychedelic sound. It's obviously one of the most underrated album of all time. It's no mediocore. And Miley Cyrus tried a very different kind of music with no doubt unlike some of the other popular singers.

    Just get it and enjoy it. Miley plus Flaming Lips equals fun. This is very creative stuff along with some very cool heartfelt ballads. It's a witty adventurous album. I have to laugh at people that think Miley can't sing. She is a wonderfully rich and talented singer.

    Freedom for art. She did what she wanted and it's great for me. You have to let it grow in you. In a world where Taylor Swift® try to get money from everywhere, suing people who play her songs in Podcasts (not even playing, just quoting the lyrics), even censor a fansite that dedicate his time to her, Miley did something really good. Released her album for free, for her fans.

I really really really LOVE this. the songs are surprisingly good and it's definitely not for the average listener it requires more than just 1 listen. Ignoring who Miley Cyrus is as a person there are a handful of songs that I gravitated to. Karen Don't Be Sad gives off a Hey Jude kinda vibe. Lighter is DEF one of my faves since it sounds like an 80's track and sounds like something that would feature on a Breakfast Club soundtrack or something. BB Talk is a cruising with you girlfriends on the weekend fun pop song. 1 Sun is without a doubt her 2015 version of Wake Up America (via Breakout 2008). She's defiantly a versatile artist which makes her stand out from her fellow former Disney alums. It leads me to believe that she definitely has what it takes to maybe snatch a Grammy one day and certify a pop icon status. I'm impressed… Expand

    this album was another great release by miley. its so different from anything shes done, it was beautifully produced and the lyrics came straight from her heart on certain songs. this album deserves a lot more than it received. my top 3 songs include space bootz, twinkle song, and 1 sun.

    I could never imagined an amazing album like this by Miley, I mean, she's good but I never imagined she could do songs like these. You can see she's more mature (musically) now. This is maybe the best album released in 2015. The lyrics are good, but the music, melodies and rhythms are better (excluding "Dooo It!", which is actually the worst song). Congrats Miley, you made an amazing job.

Not as a singer, nor as an actress, but as an artist. The collaborations are on point and very well selected. It is a little bit too long and there are some songs that were not necessarily the best, but they all match perfectly the albumGood album, where you can see Miley naked artistically.     Even though it could've been better edited, Miley wrote all of the songs and produced most of the them.
    It is good and she also kept Mike Will for some songs, which makes it make more sense Miley-wise.
    This album does not try to outsell Bangerz and it is something people just do not understand.
    It's a $50,000 album. While Bangerz was about 2 million. Thus, giving it away in Soundcloud is a GREAT strategy for the songstress.    … Expand

    I really like this album, I've been following Miley for some time now and I think she's a really good artist. A lot of people think she's just about sex and drugs, and she is for 50% of the time. But there's something interesting about her too. I love how she cares so much for LGBT people, animals and other charity.     About the album, like a lot people say, some of the tracks are really bad produced. It's not really balanced and there are too many tracks. It's quite disjointed, just like Bangerz and Can't Be Tamed were. She seems to like her albums messy, but that;s ok! (+ that song about her dead blowfish is dreadful.)

    But to me there are lots of highlights on this album too. Tiger Dreams, Tangerine and Cyrus Skies are three of the absolute highlights, you can hear they're written and produced with the Flaming Lips. Also Karen Don't Be Sad, which I think is actually about herself, is another nice Flaming Lips- cut.

    I loved Bangerz and especially Mike Will Made-IT's production on it (We Can't Stop, FU, My Darlin) So I was really happy to hear him again on this record. I Forgive Yiew and Bang Me Box are super funny with a nice vibe and production.

    Also BB Talk is next level, I Get So Scared sounds like a Bangerz ballad, Fweaky (very bad produced) is super sexy and Dooo It is funny too. (despite all the **** drug references, we get it, you smoke weed now and then)

    So in the end, I love this big disjointed mess. Quite a lot.
    I think Miley will continue making really great music. This is a big step forward.    … Expand

    This is very much Miley being Miley. That's occasionally a problem. Sometimes it's just too much. She can be a little too weird or vulgar for her own good. There are also a few tracks near the end that don't really have much of an impact.

    Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz is unabashedly weird, flawed, and occasionally magnificent. While there is quite a bit that could be shaped up and it in no way lives up to her fantastic Bangerz album, Cyrus shows once again that there's not really anyone else like her on the scene right now. While this may not be her best work, there are a few tracks that show why it's worth keeping an eye on her. I'm still curious to see and most importantly hear where the music takes her next.    … Expand

Like with 'Bangerz,' Cyrus's strength lies with her vulnerability and her rich rasping voice; songs like "1 Sun," "Lighter" and "I Get So Scared"The product of Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips's Wayne Coyne, 'Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz' is melodic adventure that often times, like a literal adventure, loses its focus and meanders at times, but what is happening here is worth your time. I'm split so far on the album, we'll see if it grows. I do appreciate her releasing the album for free and her artistic growth, which is why I gave her more than 50%

    Some songs save the album but most of them are really boring. It's good to see that she really takes control over her career by releasing this album independently, though.

    One of the most daring projects of this decade, but porrly executed. If it not had so many tracks, or even if they had been put in a more "flowing" order, it may had worked more. but its still great to have artist with artistic ambition like she had.

    Going in to this, after hearing about working with The Flaming Lips, i was not excited at any stage. But i was sorta surprised at this album - Miley had fun on this one, which executes in songs that she doesn't care. What let me down was the amount of tracks on it album (22 of them).

    This album's main flaw is also its main positive aspect, it's random, doesn't make a lot of sense, but I personally appreciate that, it seems like she truly just went with what was on her head, making it very personal and unfiltered. But I can also see the sheer messiness dominating it.

    Ainda bem que é um álbum experimental.

    This new Miley Cyrus surprises me, it may be controversial in having an album of 23 songs for free, but this does not come to the fact that it is a bass album of the middleman. It seems its risky production and producers with destintos styles. However, it is noticeable to have good vocals and touching letters, and the higher production of each track.

And the most baffling part is that even though the album cover and inane song titles would lead one to believe it's all just a big joke, upon listening to this mess, it actually seems like Miley is 100% serious.     Boring... Miley And Her Dead Petz has its good upbeatr songs but the majority of the songs are boring.I love Miley but I have ti admit that this album was her worst work...Bangerz was better!!!

    Miley's tried to be ''eccentric'' ''weird'' ''unique'' ''special'' but she didn't succeed. Did you read the lyrics of ''Milky Milky Milk'' or ''Bang Me Box'' total **** I just like Karen Don't Be Sad, and The Floyd Song (Sunrise).

    This album is another attempt of edgy production that ended up being cringey, bad, and unlistenable sometimes. Miley's experimentation with this album is not it. I can only save 2 or 3 songs from a long and boring track list. Miley can do really better (as she has done).

    Aside from the incredibly sparse, decent moments of psychedelic rock tinged throughout this mess of an album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz is an utter failure and an all time low for the teen pop sensation turned stoner girl.

    Estou realmente decepcionado com a Miley. Esse álbum pode até ser disponibilizado de graça em todos os sites mas eu não gostei, faltou uma maior elaboração, faltou amadurecimento. As musicas tem até uma batida legalzinha, mas a letra, se engana totalmente!! Espero que a Miley inove e traga um álbum decente.

    Although I love Miley Cyrus as an individual (she's so genuine and kind), there's only one way to describe this album: utter trash. All the respect for the fact that this is an experimental album (we need artists who push boundaries), but it didn't really work. Her new album, however, perfectly reflects Miley's capacities as an artist.

    This is bad. I mean bad. Her act of "edgy random weed-smoking" teen is overbearing and excruciatingly cringy to hear. The only reputable beat on this entire album is Space Boots, which literally rides on the whole vaporwave trend. Her piano ballads towards the end become basically hear screaming over a few chords. This is no where close to the quality of Bangerz, and it makes sense why it is free.

    Out of 22 songs, the only good one would be "Doooooo It", although it is "good" by the lowest standard possible. Twinkle Song sees Miley Cyrus try to reach for notes she abysmally fails to reach, and the entirety of the album has terrible lyrics. The singing is also unusually mediocre, even though Cyrus has proven herself a capable vocalist in her previous work. Do not buy this album.

    I'm still laughing at this album. So bad. Why did she even have to...? Tragic song titles. She sounds fine but the production on the songs is horrible. 1 Sun, Fweaky and Space Boots are the only songs i liked. Who even writes a song for their dead fish? She's clearly trying for a Lana-esque album but fails tragically. Her next album better be good or i'm done with Miley for good.

    Not a good album. Maybe ONE good song, but songs like Dooo it are just terrible. Good thing the album is free, I don't know who would buy this album with money.

    This is **** trash. Without the poppy radio friendly production her voice sounds god awful, and each song sounds like it was just stretched out to the length of song, because the instrumentation gets old very quickly, Next to SB2H, this is the worst album of 2015.

    Dead Petz isn't inherently ugly; in fact, there are many gorgeous moments. These moments tend to not go anywhere, though, and they are surrounded by mostly superfluous and even boring songs.

    While not everything here succeeds (much of the album is, in fact, a sprawling mess of ideas) Cyrus deserves a great deal of credit for unabashedly taking chances with her music, her image, both past and present, and what will ultimately be her controversial legacy within pop music.
