    Just a masterpiece.
This album showcases BTS biggest asset : Their versatility. From pop to rnb to hip hop to jazzy sounds, BTS knows no limits. Vocals and raps are of course top notch. BTS really affirmed themselves as artists with this album, and let’s note that all the 7 members participated in producing, composing and in the lyrics writing of the album.

Also a suggestion do look up the lyrics translation if you don’t know korean online the album hits different when you know the message behind it! Expand

They came back with the greatest project that of all the music acts can barely achieve in their life time. The music in the album just sounds like nothing but perfect and it’s such a wide spectrum head to toe that I could only admire more to their talents.

BTS always puts out high quality music but this album is their best one yet. I thought nothing's gonna beat Love Yourself:Tear but this is now my all-time favorite album. It gave me all the feels. I sang along, I screamed, I cried. An emotional rollercoaster. And as expected, BTS shows their genre-fluidity. Their versatility as artists is incrediblem

This album is everything I needed to hear right now. It even shows just how much more versatile they are as artists, from the lyrics to the production. If you want hip hop, you got it right here. RnB, here, pop, this album showcases many genres of music.

Not to talk of the message they are trying to pass on with this album. Many of us are going through, or have been, through dark times

Not to talk of the message they are trying to pass on with this album. Many of us are going through, or have been, through dark times and music can be a good way to uplift our spirits. This album executes that perfectly. I couldn't ask for more.

This is by far the best album released this year and if you look beyond language barriers, I'm sure it'll be for you too.

This was such an amazing album. You can really tell that they out their time to make this album special and every single song tells its own story. It's so refreshing to see an album where every song brings something to the table and there really isn't a single one that feels like it was just thrown on there. Really 10/10, best album of the year so far!

As a whole, the strong but not particularly unruly “7” is less sure-footed than “Love Yourself: Tear,” the group’s last full-length, from 2018, and the first K-pop album to debut atop the Billboard album chart.

Taut and primal, “MOTS: 7” is a kind of self-referential homage. ... Each get solo turns to shine here, their collective work is what stands out.

Persona lacked the natural fluidity and chicness of their best music. Those problems aren’t exactly mitigated here, since most of those songs appear on this album too, but within this new context, they feel like a flashback before the saga continues. Many of the new songs are better about balancing Easter eggs for day-ones with new entry points for more casual listeners.
