Changed the world of music forever. They’ve proven themselves. They keep fighting and break barriers no matter how hard they have to work at it. Insane discography, the mood switches between songs is ridiculous but at the same time works. Each member gets a solo that shows they are all very talented and you can see in the credits that each of them had a hand in creating this project. MyChanged the world of music forever. It goes a long way to show how these guys deserve all of their success and more. At this point in time it is safe to say that those who're still not giving these guys a chance are definitely biased. How you gonna declare their music trash without listening to it first because if you had listened there's no way in hell you wouldn't like it. Coming back to the album: My top 5:
    Inner child
    Into : Persona
    Dionysus

O álbum está incrível! Eles deram tudo de si para fazer um trabalho incrível com letras com significados profundos. Vai da capacidade de interpretação de cada pessoa. Para quem está se escondendo atrás de conta para mandar ódio, melhore!

BTS’ masterpiece. The most introspective album so far. It truly displays BTS’ growth not only as artists, but as humans as well. All the hardships and all the doubts they had in themselves were reflected upon and that’s how Map of the Soul: 7 was born. Truly an album you can’t miss on.

Every single song is unique and interesting in their own way yet they come together to form a cohesive, inspiring album. The choruses of Louder Than Bombs and We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal are probably my favorite parts of the whole thing. Everyone’s solo piece exudes the life and energy of the individual member and the subunit songs shine bright with their chemistry. Truly album of the year.

BTS really never disappoints. From the very first track, they left a good impression on me. It's a new style as well and I've always liked the way they experiment with new sounds every time. It isn't exactly a "dark" album, but rather an introspective one, a journey surrounding their art of life. In Shadow : Interlude the lyrics are two sides of the same coin; Suga's shadow talking to himBTS really never disappoints. From the very first track, they left a good impression on me. It's a new style as well and I've always liked the way they experiment with new sounds every time. It isn't exactly a "dark" album, but rather an introspective one, a journey surrounding their art of life. In Shadow : Interlude the lyrics are two sides of the same coin; Suga's shadow talking to him and it's about the fear of losing himself to his shadow as he grows bigger. The closer you are to the light, the bigger your shadow is. But the interesting note is that the "shadow" can be interpreted in various ways for the listener too. It can be your fear, your past, your repressed parts of your identity (which is directly the meaning of Shadow according to psychologist Carl Jung's ideas of Map of the Soul). It could also be the haters or the crazy people out there trying to invade their privacy. Intro: Persona have lyrics connected to Carl Jung's Map of the Soul Persona's psyche and this was repackaged from their previous album called "Map of the Soul: Persona". I commend them for bringing light onto this psychologist's works. Their 15th track called "Friends" was beautiful. It was a song about how the two members V and Jimin became close friends despite their differences, even promising to stay once the cheers die down, and calling each other soulmates. It's adorable and very precious. They are very open to each other and I love that friendship for them. And I love how they always include their fans, the A.R.M.Y., (Adorable Representatives MC for Youth). The 16th track "Moon" was by Jin and he sung it about his love for the fans. Fun fact: his first solo 'Awake' was about struggling to help or love himself, while the second one "Epiphany" was about loving himself, followed by "Tonight" which was a tribute to his beloved pets. In his 4th solo which is "Moon", he sang his love to the fans. The track “Respect” where RM and Suga say that respect is a higher form of love, it was truly a beautiful thought to be put in a song. We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal that sang about how they and their fans persevered through all the struggles and hatred they had to face in the journey of light and dark, how togetherness in such times really are comparable to being 'bulletproof'. They coined their own words and name from the word 'bulletproof', which not many artists can do because they lack stories in their crafts, but BTS can because they always tell genuine stories throughout their discography. There was Inner Child, a reminiscent track in which V wished to assure his younger self that he will be okay because the he of today is okay, also the repitition of the lyrics 'we gon' change' at the end. It felt so magical, warm and comforting. Black Swan where they sang about the fear of losing art, fear of losing passion for art and the denial of slowly losing the thrill we once felt from our crafts, incorporating Martha Graham's words that a dancer dies twice and consider their first death when they stop dancing, equating the loss of reason as their first death which is more painful than physical death itself. The lusciously, dark and elegant tunes in Black Swan entranced me at first listen. The orchestral version which they still haven't released on Spotify is arguably the best and rawest song from BTS in my opinion. There's so much more to talk about but overall these sounds are very rich. The production on each one and everyone song in the album is very impressive and high-quality. I love the meanings behind their songs as always. It's different from other groups out there. Beautiful. 10/10. Perhaps I'm biased but I know even if I wasn't, that this album deserved the ratings. an absolutely gripping album from start to end, BTS once again prove their artistry is beyond the norms of the industry. each title is well put together and explores in-depth their bonds as bandmates, friends, each other's 'Home' and most importantly their artistic journey. Map of the Soul:7 is not just their best album yet but is truly them laying their emotions and out for their listeners.

This album had a new and refreshing sound that makes it impossible to stop listening, or to skip any songs. I think they did a really good job on trying out new sounds, similar to their other album Love Yourself: Tear. really good! the whole album is so different from most other grps that recycled the same old concept every comebacks. each songs in the album also have its own tune and meaningful lyrics. pls listen without prejudice. just because the whole album is in korean language, doesn't mean that it sounds the same like most kpop songs out there.

The title track is a freaking masterpiece, the rest of the songs are also jams and you'll definitely find tracks that suit your personal taste. Genius in terms of production quality and even lyrically speaking, as expected from BTS. It's very hard for me to pick a favorite track just because they're so different from each other which again showcases their musical diversity. Expand

As a whole, the strong but not particularly unruly “7” is less sure-footed than “Love Yourself: Tear,” the group’s last full-length, from 2018, and the first K-pop album to debut atop the Billboard album chart.

Taut and primal, “MOTS: 7” is a kind of self-referential homage. ... Each get solo turns to shine here, their collective work is what stands out.

Persona lacked the natural fluidity and chicness of their best music. Those problems aren’t exactly mitigated here, since most of those songs appear on this album too, but within this new context, they feel like a flashback before the saga continues. Many of the new songs are better about balancing Easter eggs for day-ones with new entry points for more casual listeners.
