    When listening to album I saw music from years ago, and it seems that it does not come out of the same sound. Liam made a bad mistake, and it seems like discarded music and given to him, he had a great hope in his talent and unfortunately it was not what he expected.

    Track 7, Rude Hours, is one of worst things I've heard this year. Track 1, Stack It Up, is like a bad version of Same Old Love and the album has too many unnecessary tracks , but I think he has a good voice, cam improve

What helped 1D's fans to stop with this life-drama was the fact that they could now be able to go to their favorite member's tour and enjoy their solo music.
    Payne started teasing a solo album back in 2017 and the world couldn't be more pleased with his debut single. This, however, evolved to a series of too-commercial bubblegum pop singles that have been included in "LP1" which, thanks to this, has been transformed in a kind of greatest hits album with a couple of new tracks in order to achieve a gold certification faster.
    LP1's production is predictable and too teen. It exposes that he hasn't evolved in years and has stuck to his teenage years; in this fairytale non-realistic world. In conclusion, the album is too generic and boring. A terrible move for Liam Payne whose future seems dark if he continues putting this kind of songs which only appeal to sex out instead of focusing on growing up musically and personally.    … Expand

    o álbum é muito rude, me senti desconfortável ouvindo as letras apesar de gostar muito do Liam, o álbum ficou muito ruim, muito sexualizado e pesou na mão, não consigo imaginar nem os funkeiros br cantando certas coisas. Também não entendi pq as músicas saturadas estão no álbum! Horrível, dei três porque gostei de Uma música e gosto dele.

    Really didn't like it. Had high hopes for it but ended up super disappointed by both the lyrics and music. Really hope he has some better work next time. Really love Liam though!

    There are a few standout tracks like "For You", "Polaroid", and "Bedroom Floor", so that's why I give this album a 3. But I feel like this album is so basic, and I don't like how he sings about sex and girls the whole album, especially in the song "Both Ways". Liam made me disappointed. But at least this album is better than Justin Bieber's Changes.     really not innovating or cohesive, all tracks sound like recycled justin bieber x 2015 forgotten artists demos remixed to a more recent year sound. At first I thought it was OK like maybe a 5/6 but the sound IS SO repetitive!!! No improvement or stories along the tracks, even sounds like a cash grab, I hope Liam evolves as an ‘artist’ and can deliver a more risky, experimental and improvedreally not innovating or cohesive, all tracks sound like recycled justin bieber x 2015 forgotten artists demos remixed to a more recent year sound.     Sorry, I love Liam so much but I don't know what happened to him, I was so excited about this album and it is so boring, the majority of the album sounds the same beat except for All I Want, Familiar, For You and Strip that Down, rhe rest of the album is the same beat over and over.     Es una pena que su potencial y talento quedarán desperdiciados con un álbum tan mediocre, es aburrido de principio a fin, no hay una sola canción que me haga sentir algo más que aburrimiento. Fue una tortura escucharlo.

    If youre looking for something different and exciting from an album DONT listen to LP1. Waste of time. Basically a mixture of generic pop dance songs with little to no lyrical complexity. The only bright spot is the use of strong bass at some points that covers up the horrible lyrics.

    Un disastro. Le canzoni originali troppo poche e senza nessuna personalità. Testi semplici e abbastanza dimenticabili. Non ho apprezzato l'inserimento dei duetti nell'album. Lascio due punti e non zero perché ho trovato due canzoni orecchiabili, ma nulla di più.

    An album full of 2012 Chris Brown rejects with absolutely no soul or creativity. Lyrics are asinine and barely performed with any vigor. Don't know why he doesn't use his good voice to his advantage and make interesting jazz (or another genre that suits his vocals) songs instead of making outdated pop trap radio "hits".

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I didn’t like liam’s album. I love him and I’m so proud of what he accomplished with 1D but LP1 is soulless. It doesn’t say anything about him and I looked at the songs that he wrote and he barely wrote a couple of them (don’t remember how many, but were less than 6 I think). I think he focus on quantity instead of quality and he aimed for a hit instead of something that represented him as a person and artist. His songs don’t tell stories, don’t move you, don’t make you feel anything more than cringe with the lyrics. I would like to think that he was not well advised and that he only followed his records advises instead of following his guy. But needless to say I expected more from Liam. He has an amazing voice and he is capable of more, he just has to stop looking for hits and focus more about giving his music soul and meaning.

    I havent heard anything this bland in my whole life. And i listened to BAD music but this was just bland and I hoped it was over after every song. This record sounds like a robot was fed with the most generic sounds of 2018/2019 and had to produce an album on its own. I think Liams voice doesnt sound bad but it is just soooo boring. Dont even bother listening to this

    This album is very bland. It's so boring except for a few highlights like For You, Polaroid and Get Low which depend on the collaborators. The songs are filled with flexing, sex and misogyny. What a waste of Liam's potential.

    The worst thing about that is the fact that this is his debut album. His first body of work is the most random, generic, basic and boring thing I’ve heard in years. Sounds like a Justin Timberlake and Chris Brown compilation of rejected songs. And also a random Christmas song at the end? Fire whoever thought of that.

    literally the worst release out of the 1d members and possibly one of the worst albums i’ve ever heard. I expected better but it was mostly for radio made music that literally has no meaning.

    This is the most generic pop album of all time. He literally put a 2017 song for increase streams but this album is a completely trash.

    0 stars. I didn't know music could make me feel like puking. LP1 is overly sexual and narcissistic, GENERIC as hell and literal TRASH. When high sex drive is your only personality trait, then the addition of **** lyrics doesn't help.

    this album is very confusing and...awful. why would he be releasing an album with songs over 2 YEARS OLD??? the lyrics are also atrocious (ex: “let me do your ass in the car???) how do you go from being 1D’s main songwriter to this? it is extremely underwhelming and not cohesive. stream literally anything other than this please god

    Horrible pop album. Nothing unique or different. Used the most tired pop formula and somehow still made every song incredibly horrendous. Great job Liam, there’s now an artist worse than Imagine Dragons

    Ultimately, a few things come from repeated listenings of “LP1″: First off, the writing and singing aren’t strong enough and come across as C-level Timberlake material. Two, without being surrounded by 1D, he shouldn’t sing high, flightily and airily, but rather stick to slow, low groovers. Three, Payno should find one or two styles that work best for him — and not put a host of other singers before him, male or female — and stick to them.
