Swift encapsulates all the different shades of love in this album. The fights, the sparks, the subtle looks, the love shared between friends and family and the pain of potentially losing it. In the end, the album reflects believing in spite of fear, as she suggests in Track 13 “False God” “we might just get away with it // even if it’s a false god we’d still worship this love” and she doesSwift encapsulates all the different shades of love in this album. In the end, the album reflects believing in spite of fear, as she suggests in Track 13 “False God” “we might just get away with it // even if it’s a false god we’d still worship this love” and she does in every song. Highlights include “Cornelia Street” as she fears the potential break up and considers self-sabotage, But decides to persist in spite of fears. The Man covers a political stance of rejecting the idea that she should be perceived differently as a woman in this industry. Cruel summer is a frustrated summer anthem in which swift finally breaks down and shows her love interest her hand.

Soon you’ll get better is a love letter to her mother. A long time suffer of cancer who she dreads living without one day. The album concludes with a spoken word section, in which swift requests that she is defined by what she loves, and it the end That’s all anyone really wants from life.

The best album yet :) with songs about her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, and a song dedicated to her mother. I cry hearing the song every time it plays on Spotify, which is a lot. I love the album!!

this is her best album, she truly did that and more she put her heart and soul into this album and all her emotions its true that she f**king loves the art of song writing and music production and being an artist and isn't just doing it because she gets money, she opens up to us more then some of us would to our actual friends, she treats us like her friends not her fans, i love how shethis is her best album, she truly did that and more she put her heart and soul into this album and all her emotions its true that she f**king loves the art of song writing and music production and being an artist and isn't just doing it because she gets money, she opens up to us more then some of us would to our actual friends, she treats us like her friends not her fans, i love how she continues to stay true to herself through this body of work and shows how much she loves us for sticking by her when many of her irl friends couldn't even do that. each song is so well thought out and so well-ly put into this body of work, shes so particular with these types of things. taylor, i can't thank you enough you have changed my life with this album. Good songs but the lead single was bad chosen.
Cornelia street, Lover, Cruel summer where among my favourites. The lyrics are similar to Speak Now ones but the melody is similar to 1989.

Just listen to it and YOU'LL KNOW! Old Taylor is dead? Absolutely not. She's very much alive and stronger than ever. The production on each song is neat and meticulous and perfect. It's strong where it should be and soft where it should be. Taylor's vocal technique has improved so much and she's shown so much range in this one album. I'm so happy with this body of work. It’s an album that screams out for an editor, but when it hits the right notes, it demonstrates just why Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Ultimately, Lover is overstuffed and meandering, but serves as a positive reprieve from her past struggles in the public eye, and represents an artist at the peak of her creativity, power, and—one hopes—continued romantic bliss.

Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
