    This is Taylor’s BEST album! It is a strong pop album that will make you feel every emotion. One second you’re happy then in love and then crying then repeat. This is the type of album everyone can relate to. Taylor has out done herself with this masterpiece.

    It's nice to see Taylor back to make fun upbeat songs again after have no idea how to execute edginess in music correctly on mediocre Reputation album. While it's a definite pop album, there a few tracks here that should pleases her fans who missed country music from her.

    Favorite tracks: The Archer, Lover, and Cornellia Street.

    This album is simply Taylor being Taylor. She’s singing about love but in all the ways love can come. The sounds flows from one song to the next. A very sonically cohesive album that sounds good over phone, headphones or playing of the radio. Lover is a new, creative and unique style of pop that radio cycles will feel refreshed from.

    Beautiful, soulful and complex this album touches many styles and emotions as it takes you through. It's reminiscent of Taylor's previous albums but takes them to a whole new place with new sounds mixing in. The lyrics leave you reeling at times and they stick around with you long after you stop listening. I can't stop replaying this album.

Sonically cohesive and she explores new lyrical themes in songs like The Man, and other songs that have political undertones. To me, this is one of the best written pop albums of the 2000's, and is probably the best pop album after and next to Lorde's Melodrama. The songwriting can cut glass. She plays with new sounds in False God and Paper Rings, and does it very convincingly. This will only brighten her star power more and more and this will cement her status as the best pop writer probably ever as well as an amazing innovator. She also perfectly uses sonics from 1989 and fuses them together to create a more mature sound. A+++++++… Expand

    Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
