    This album is a story from start to finish. It takes you on a journey. The lyrics are powerful and the production is exceptional. So impressed how they have mastered their craft. BTS most certainly needs to be known for the music and message.

    O álbum revela um maior questionamento sobre a pessoa que nós somos, um lado obscuro. O design do álbum em si também combinou muito com a mensagem que BTS está tentando trazer para o mundo. A faixa título "Fake Love" além de ter uma ótima harmonia das vezes, batidas viciantes e uma letra profunda foi uma ótima escolha, apesar da minha favorita do álbum ser Magic Shop, haha.

    Potessi darei anche più di 10, sicuramente il migliore prodotto dei BTS. L'aspetto che più spicca dell'album è la sperimentazione e la creatività di questi sette ragazzi: ogni canzone porta con sé un testo eccellente e uno stile che non troveremo nella traccia seguente. Hanno saputo rischiare e proporre un album che ancora oggi non è stato superato nel K-Pop, a mio parere.

    Their best album to date. Very cohesive. The production on this album is amazing. The vocal layering is very impressive. The amount of different genres on this album alone is very impressive. And to find out RM has writing a producing credits in every song is OUTSTANDING.

    Beautiful lyrics and a amazing set that’s made me cry love it so much. They show you pain will only ever make you stronger and after 7 years of the music industry they obviously have went through a lot. From sharing a one bedroom room with 7 teenager boys to finally have the success they deserve. Thank you for your blood sweat and tears for the past 7 years.

    Não consigo acreditar que essa obra de arte esteja com uma nota tão baixa por aqui. É sem sombra de dúvida um dos meus trabalhos preferidos desses meninos, é tão pessoal e sensível. Um contraste perfeito com o álbum anterior deles, Her, e que mais tarde vai formar o balance perfeito para o próximo, Answer.

    One of their, IF NOT, their best album, it's just an amazing mix of diffrent tunes and genres. 134340 is CRIMINALLY underated and is one of my favorite bts songs ever. This album is known to be one of their best and that is true!

    it's a perfect for me, this album is amazing. It's really cohesive and versatile. They show so much growth as an artist by exploring different sounds. Loved the message that they put in the whole album. Also, the lyrics are good especially in Tear, Fake Love and The Truth Untold and the production in on point on each track.

    Love yourself: Tear is, at the moment of writing, my favourite album of all time. I feel like the songs develop incredibly nicely with both messages and sound from the first one all the way through to the last; it's really well put-together. I love all the songs for every reason.     My favorite album from BTS. Every song is exciting and fresh, and lead beautifully into the next track. The lyrics, album art, and whole theme of the album also tie into the jazzy, r&b and pop instrumentals, making this album a feast for the ears, eyes, and heart. Not one skip.

    Este fue el primer álbum de ellos que al escucharlo por primera vez dije "debo comprarmelo ya". Outro:tear no tiene sentido lo buena que es, nunca me imaginé que hobi se comiera una canción de tal manera. Euphoria es preciosa y posiblemente el mejor solo de todos sus álbumes hasta día de hoy.

This album strives towards a more conceptual or thematic vibe and can pull it off pretty well. While their previous albums have strived to do the same, Love Yourself: Tear is their best attempt at this by a long run. Some songs were a tad bit too generic and mainstream aimed like Airplane. But the negatives don't way up at all against the positives. They chose a unique way of portraying heart break by not only focusing on relationships but also oneself. That was very interesting.

    While some songs, such as Singularity, FAKE LOVE, and The Truth Untold, were instant hits, it took me a while to get into others. Love Maze was one of those, but it really grew on me after a while. So I definitely recommend listening to the album more than once! You might miss real golden nuggets otherwise. I never did come to particularly love either 134340 or So What, since the former didn't strike my melodic fancy and the latter felt a little too outside of the theme of the album (although not lyrically).

    One of the absolute highlights of the album is definitely Outro: Tear. Each rapper contributes with his own rap style, which really resonated with me emotionally over the orchestra. Each rapper has his own line in the chorus, playing on the "tear" concept; the first one being "you're my tear" (from crying), the second "you're my tear" (as in a rip or cut), and the third "you're my fear". Without even reading the translations, I could derive that each rapper told about his "tear" from his perspective. And oh my, was it effective.

    After listening to the album without lyrics in English, I gave it another go with the translations before me. And wow. Wow. I admit, I had preconceived ideas about the depth, eloquence, and meaning behind k-pop lyrics – but they were all shattered with this album. Poetic and full of word plays! I recommend you check out articles or YouTube videos where Koreans talk about the intricacies of the lyrics, because a lot is lost in translation – which makes me dispel the "Why don't they just sing in English?" thought that crossed my mind during my first listen. I'm honestly kind of grateful, because I got an appreciation for the Korean language. It's so rich! Getting back to the Love Yourself: Tear lyrics, they were profound and meaningful. I read that Magic Shop is a song written for the fans, but I don't think you have to be one to be moved by it:
    "Days when you hate that you’re you
    Days when you wanna disappear
    Let’s make a door in your heart
    If you open that door and go inside
    This place will be waiting for you
    It’s ok to believe, it’ll comfort you, this Magic Shop"

    In conclusion, Love Yourself: Tear was an incredible ride, offering a lot of musical diversity and surprises and touching lyrics. It's not what I expected going in, and BTS managed to break pretty much all of my preconceived ideas about k-pop.     I’m new to the kpop genre. I saw bts for the first time on Good Morning America so I decided, okay let me check out this group. The songs on this album were good. Some were heavy hitters, and some were eh, just okay. But then Paradise came on and it really kinda changed my views on them. The melody, the beats, the rapping, the singing - the whole song was so well pieced together. I thinkI’m new to the kpop genre. I think with kpop groups (from what I’ve heard so far for myself), they focus more on the lyrics. Meanwhile, bts focuses on the beats and the lyrics and makes sure it’s easy on the ears and enjoyable. Sometimes you just want to hear the beats like in 134340 or listen to the lyrics like in The Truth Untold. All around this was a solid album. I know they’re done with the Love Yourself Series so I’m willing to stick around and see what songs they’d have coming up next. They just might snag me as a new fan… Expand

    This album becomes unique and totally one of the group. The idea of doing something more obscure, and simply amazing and they worked so well that sound is impeccable. Strong compositions that touches from the young to adult, his production brings every detail of the seven. It's different and brings prominence.

    This is such an amazing album, it has been keeping me company since 2018 and we've been through a lot of things together... High school, university, it was always there comforting me like a good friend. Every track from singularity to tear is amazing in its own way and this is easily one of my favorite albums of all time.

    Other that some tracks lacking flavour, this has to be of the most coherent pop albums out there, not just in Kpop. BTS has outshine themselves and has created a record that many of their contemporaries must take note. BTS will definitely be a group people will look up to for what they have achieved.

    BTS shows their versatility and punch on this new project, with both rapping and singing on point. The new addition to the Love Yourself series is also the best one. Favourite tracks: Intro: Love Maze, 134340, Airplane pt. 2, Anpanman
