Not as experimental as her previous work. Very listen-able and some fantastic tracks i.e. Orange Tree and To Be Human.

I think this album is underrated. Not her best, sure, but still very good. “Soft to be strong” is a very important song for me.

It's a great modern album, but it's too long and monotonous. This is a great debut for an artist like Marina. I wish her good luck with her music

It has some really strong songs and some that are not so much. As whole this is an amazing album!

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it

Excellence! Nothing bad to day about this album. An emotional trip of the soul that offers lessons and chances for you to grow and open up your eyes. To be human, soft to be strong, karma, superstar I simply can't pick just one favorite. Marina is a talented beauty and her lyrics are peotry like.

Marina is the happiest and lightst she can be. It has moments of instrospectiveness and cheers, thoughtful and that feels very true t marina's vision of herself now. but still as a whole record it still fails to make a lasting impression.

Depois de froot Marina volta para sua introspecção em um álbum mais autoral, um belo trabalho.

I completely understand Marina and her new era. Love + Fear is a sign that represents her "divorce" from The Diamonds to start a career as Marina. The album gives me a mixture between the old albums, but with a modern and more electronic productions. I'm not sure if I like it, because it looks like she's still trying to figure it out her image as a solo singer. The songs are good, veryI completely understand Marina and her new era. Pop masterpiece. Lirically may not me that deep as her other albums but it's deeper than it seems at first. Personally, it helped me a lot during last phases of depresión.

In "Love + Fear," Marina demonstrates the ups and downs of a hard, concise feeling that is love. To love is to be reciprocated. Within this, we enter this poetic work well represented by it.

Marina shows her evolution, this woman is art, her voice is soft and powerful at same time, she is definitely one of the bests artists in the music industry, this album LOVE+FEAR is a gift, I’m always crying happy tears when I listen, is perfection from beginning to the end, the instrumental is awesome as well!

The production is simply amazing and interesting but, when it comes to the lyrical content, it lacks of that something that made all the previous tracks so special and original. The vocals are fantastic but there’s always that lack of potential when it comes to the words which are very basic, standard, average.

I get what Marina brings in this album. It's hapiness and simple feelings. It can be quite boring sometimes. Cause it's simple. I can relate.

A generally positive departure from Marina's previous works, 'Love + Fear' has an overlying tone of positivity and genuine happiness. Even in the 'Fear' side of the album, she reaches an epiphany in the form of 'Soft to Be Strong', a beautiful and satisfying ending to an interestingly themed project. In the 'Love' side, songs like 'Superstar' and 'Orange Trees' stand out as almost non-Marina type songs, to which I sort of appreciate. They lack the uniqueness of her previous singles, yet still are packaged in a perfect pop package. Deeper songs like 'To Be Human' are really nice to reminisce about her old works, holding a similar philosophical message to her previous album 'Froot'.

As for the lyrical content, I, as do many Diamonds, think 'Love + Fear' is a bit basic. I don't view this as a negative at all though - I'm so elated that Marina is really happy in her life, of course this album reflects that. Her lyrics aren't even necessarily bad, they are very upfront, which can be frustrating to fans who relate more to 'Froot' or 'The Family Jewels'. I personally love them and appreciate the way she has chosen to sonically and visually package this work. This album is a straight 10/10 for me. I always listen to the entire album, but even then, the singles are perfect to listen to as standalone tracks. L+F has become a soundtrack to my own journey, and I love it for that.

Embracing the two core human emotions, love and fear are two unique experiences that are woven together well; Marina ties universal themes that many can relate to. The change towards a different sound can be difficult to navigate, however the production and vocal level she is known for is present whole heartedly in this album. The lack of a real coherent theme through out the album is evident as her previous work has always carried a string of similar topics that adds a whole new level to her music.

As ever with Diamandis, there’s some decent pop music here, but it seems like we’re still waiting for her to produce that genuine killer album, Diamonds or no Diamonds.

As the first offering of a new stage in her career, Love + Fear not only reveals its creator as newly hopeful, but it also gives hope that future efforts might be carved in a similar fashion. Marina's Electra heart still beats, it's just pumping smoother and with a confidence born from a renewed and mature perspective.
