#LM5 is a brilliant Pop-R&B sound filled with Little Mix's signature harmonies, lyrically inspiring messages of Woman Empowerment, Self love and Sisterhood. Mixers have grown up with the girls and finally have the mature Salutesque album we've been asking for. Each listen will leave the listener feeling confident, uplifted and ready to take on the world.

As an +21 Mixer I couldn't be happier.

However, I do hope LM release an edited version of the album for their younger fans.

Little Mix é realmente uma girl band incrível.

They are very bold with this album. Their vocals and harmonies are strong here. The lyrics, variety of genres and their identity as artists make LM5 their best album to date.

Little mix reinvented themselves again: this album mix pop & urban in a perfect way, they haven't done anything like this before! Every song looks different from the others, but in all of them we can found amazing harmonies, spectacular bridges and all the strenght that has always characterized the girls.
Moreover, the videos released so far are very nice and powerful!
    Good job, LM!

a masterpiece of an album, they have improved their sound so much! Their best album to date, definitely. I love every single song, they're all different in their own ways, and i love that! Quick shoutouts: Think About Us, Monster In Me (one of the best), Love a Girl Right, American Boy, Wasabi, More Than Words, Forget You Not and Woman's World.

    Do you want my opinion?
Little Mix was created and idealized as a teen pop girl group. I think in all their 4 albums there's a big variety, but Salute and LM5 are alike, shows the woman empowerment with a high dose of feminism. All of us knows that this industry is misogen and machist, unfortunelly the especielized critic do not see the group big changes. I think that this girls borned to

All of us knows that this industry is misogen and machist, unfortunelly the especielized critic do not see the group big changes. I think that this girls borned to R&B and hip-hop and for this they uses their big idols como referências. For me, this album is absolutely out of bubblegum teen pop and personally I LOVE IT. Women, not teenagers singing "Take a sip of my secret poison" and they not wanna be Beyoncé, they want let your mark. I'd hoped a note little better than that (70 to be honest). But, the industry want girlband singing about sex, be submissed to men, dirty songs, like fifth harmony always did, and maybe for this they have a profile with 72. This world...hmmm, ok I am a fan of good music, i don't care for numbers or sales, I care for talent, and this girls always captvated me, a lot more now.

The best album of this year, why? it is because the album very good and its empowering people no matter who you are. their vocals, the meaning of the song as well their music videos in this era are very masterpiece. they promote self-equality, feminism and be proud of who you are no matter what your race is. They indeed are the instruments of God .

The album is a complete catastrophe taking into consideration the entire career of girls. The new single '' strip '' achieves the feat of making us turn off the sound as the first few seconds of melody begins. It's scary and embarrassing.

Overall it is a good album with no skip. Some of the tracks are really solid and powerful such as Woman Like Me, Joan of Arc and Told you so. Little Mix has prove again how good they are as a group with fantastic harmonies and good melodies. They also send an empowering message in songs like Strip, Woman Like Me and Woman's world being the last song my favourite and the one with the strongest message.

This album is far more mature in comparison to Get Weird and Glory Days. The swearing may not appropriate for younger listeners, but this shows growth in Little Mix as musicians. LM5 is simply brilliant, the girls were not afraid to write what they thought and put their voice on the line! There are few songs that become generic, I'm open-mouthed with the evolution of these girls.

The fusion of pop and strong messages is brilliant and effective. But I am so ambivalent about all of this. How can a band of women can defend self-acceptance, self-care and women empowerment by passing through so many plastic surgery operations? But I am so ambivalent about all of this. How can a band of women can defend self-acceptance, self-care and women empowerment by passing through so many plastic surgery operations? They sing 'I don't need a man, if I'm loving you it's because I can' but when I looked at their respective biography they almost were all with a man since the age of 18 or even before. It feels like this album was produced with the idea 'do what I say and not what I do'. There are so many attractive and powerful messages through this project, but it loses all credibility once you read the biographies of these women. I wonder how they could have released it without being ashamed.

The accent put on the pop part is really perverse and insidious because yes, 'LM5' is so shiny, so bright, so clever, but it also hides the cruel reality behind it. I suppose women with hardcore pasts like theirs are the best to talk about women empowerment but I can't believe in them since they feel so insecure and superficial.

Now let's speak about music. This is some really interesting pop music. Lyrically it is remarkable. Musically it is way less. Some songs are just awesome (like 'The Cure', 'Only You' or 'Joan Of Arc') but some others are impressive by their awfulness and unharmonious side. This feels way too mainstream to be really and deeply heard and understood by concerned people. If it goes further than the love of money the creation of 'LM5' is admirable but let me doubt of it. If I didn't get informed about the women in the band I would have give LM5 a 8/10. But all things considered it deserves more something like a 5/10.

These tracks are vibrantly cross-pollinated, touching upon lush a cappella ("The National Manthem"), R&B flamenco ("Love a Girl Right"), and buzzy, exotic club bangers ("Wasabi"). No question, Little Mix are in charge here.

Little Mix albums have always struggled to find their own identity, and LM5 still owes too much to Beyoncé’s flirtation with hip-hop and top-40 trend chasing. It’s frustrating.
