    Whether you like her or not you have to see the facts. The album is a gem and her least favorites are growing to be liked as much as the others. Maria, Deserve, Pipe, Unless Is With You are currently my faves but all the album is unique and beautiful in its own facets. LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT.

    So different from the rest, as always, , best songs are Maria and Deserve, but all the other songs are different, good, modern, and classics, Fall in line the best single of any album of Christina Aguilera, this album really good and interesting, you have to hear it more than once.

    Acabo de escuchar el LIBERATION y es ESPECTACULAR, calidad y variedad de sonidos, Xtina vocalmente perfecta, es un disco muy fresco, que abarca diversos generos musicales como el Pop, la balada, el Pop rock y el Hip hop.
    En conclusión Christina Aguilera siemre reinventandose para sorprender a sus fanaticos y al mercado musical. Felicitaciones Xtina!!!

    Christina can sing whatever genre she wants. Her voice is so good in every song. No doubt i'ts the best album of 2018. The highlights: Maria, Deserve, Fall in Line and Twice.

    I've been a fan of Christina's for many years now and can say she's not perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of Lotus and was anxiously awaiting new music. Liberation starts off with a gorgeous (almost cinematic!) piece by Moonlight composer Nicholas Britell. The intro leads into delicate vocals from the Sound of Music which then leads into the phenomenally produced "Maria". From then on sheI've been a fan of Christina's for many years now and can say she's not perfect. I wasn't a huge fan of Lotus and was anxiously awaiting new music. Liberation starts off with a gorgeous (almost cinematic!) piece by Moonlight composer Nicholas Britell. The intro leads into delicate vocals from the Sound of Music which then leads into the phenomenally produced "Maria". From then on she really succeeds in what she does best- giving empowering lyrics paired with gorgeous vocals. Her collaborators (both in lyrics and production) were expertly chosen and should be praised for the work they've done. Standout tracks for me include "Maria", "Pipe", "Deserve", "Twice", and the closing track "Unless It's With You". Christina really experiments with new sounds and really took it to the next level with this album. I highly recommend giving this a listen (in order!). Happy listening!… Expand

    Over the past 6 years, since her last album "Lotus," much has changed for Christina Aguilera personally and professionally. Much has also changed within the music industry, as well. The fact that Liberation offers a relevant point of view is incredible, as most of the material was recorded throughout those 6 years. Some of the highlights are: "Deserve" - no other female singer could pullOver the past 6 years, since her last album "Lotus," much has changed for Christina Aguilera personally and professionally. Much has also changed within the music industry, as well. The fact that Liberation offers a relevant point of view is incredible, as most of the material was recorded throughout those 6 years. Some of the highlights are: "Deserve" - no other female singer could pull off a track such as ||"Deserve"|| the way Christina can. he approach is incredibly confident, yet, there is an immense undertone of defeat: her tone suggest she knows what she’s done wrong, and she wishes to make it right by displaying tremendous vulnerability admitting the reasons as to why she has faltered this way. ||"Accelerate"||, is one of Christina’s strongest lead singles. It does not conform to traditional structures, and it is experimental on all fronts. Yet, it manages to stay cohesive throughout, and above all, one never loses sight of the fact that Xtina is in the song’s driver’s seat. ||"Pipe"|| Though it’s still unclear as to who Christina’s collaborator “XNDA” is on "Pipe" (literally, the internet has no clue), there is little confusion as to this song's brilliance. The track is a smooth jam, with trip-hoppy undertones. It oozes smoothness and warmth. I envision Pipe being the song one plays, when about 70% of one’s party guests have arrived, and the party is about to officially take off. ||"Masochist"|| the 14th track on "Liberation" is yet another exceptional offering. Though it is not about overt Sadomasochism, the song details the painful gratification gained when one stays in a moot relationship. ||"Unless It’s With You"||, is the album’s closer. In this beautifully restrained, blues inspired ballad, Christina details her lack of preoccupation with white picket fences, and the idea of marriage - in fact, she won’t entertain marriage unless it’s with this one special person. Liberation's only weak point is it narrative structure, moving a few of the songs around would result in a much more thematically cohesive record. Additionally, in my opinion, ||"Fall In Line"|| makes such a great impact on its own, that it could do without ||"Dreamers"|| as its intro. But my goodness, it's a very special day today, as we have Christina Aguilera back in artistic mode, officially. As Jon Pareles, of the New York Times states, in his review of "Liberation": A voice like [Aguilera's] has become something like a turntable: a vintage prize, a modern novelty, a niche taste."     Creo que es un disco lleno de emociones que necesitaban ser expresadas y escuchadas. Estamos ante uno de los mejores discos de Christina Aguilera, junto a Stripped y B2b. Se podría decir que este álbum recoge lo mejor de ambos y le da un toque más urbano pero también más íntimo y emocional. Es perfecto

    She is definitely back to her glory days of Stripped and Back to Basics. Liberation is an amazing album and it was worth the long wait. Maria and Unless it's with you are my favorites.

    this album is fantastic, the mixture of several styles makes it different and that is not monotonous for me is a 10/10 Maria and Deserve are fantastic.

    Best album ever released. Christina Aguilera came back. The other singers who apologize but Xtina is not only visual is talent itself. I'm a fighter.

    Ame cada uno de los tracks de Liberation , los fts, el tener a Demi Lovato y todos esos sonidos , Xtina busca siempre experimentar y el hacer algo distinto en cada album, salir de la casilla no es facil pero Xtina siempre lo hace y el resultado es fantástico.

    É 10 porque não posso dar mais né amores? Xtina é uma excelente artista, entregou um album visionário. Cheio de vida, emoção e arte.
    Não há um erro em Liberation, a não ser, acabar após 15 músicas.

    Undoubtedly it is one of his best works so far with rhythms set at the time, danceable, with tremendous ballads and his unique voice that accompanies all the well-achieved musical genres of Aguilera.

This album is an absolute masterpiece and the only thing that could make it better is adding a visual for each song because the album almost feels cinematic in it's approach.     Liberation never reaches the heights fans likely wanted from Xtina, it serves as a pleasant refresher for a voice that has earned its place in the annals of pop history. That said, it’s a bit sad to feel like her finest moments are, at least for now, also in her past.
