May 27, 2015Surreal and beautiful, catchy and yet at times gritty, a solid emo record that should come to define this year's scene in the way The Hotelier did last year. Definitely worth a listen.

Oct 12, 2014It's just a solid emo/rock album with thoughtful lyrics. Not much negative about except that every song sounds alike. Much better than Prawn's first album. Favorite track: Scud Runner

Alternative PressAug 19, 2014It's Tony Clark's throaty, understated vocals and the way they complement the textured melodies, that really make Kingfisher stand out. [Sep 2014, p.110]

Aug 19, 2014This LP is carefully constructed and pushes all the right emotional buttons to great effect, balancing its angst-ridden lyrics with a sound that’s as clear as glass.
