The collaborations work well to complement her without overshadowing her presence; even when she shares the mic, Cardi is still the one commanding attention. What I must praise most highly, though, is how the Bronx rapper is willing to juxtapose vulnerability and insecurities ('Be Careful,' 'Ring,' 'Thru Your Phone') with an empowered, bad-bit*h persona. Such willingness presents a very nuanced portrait of Cardi B, and I'm incredibly excited to witness what she does next.

Highlights include 'Bickenhead,' 'Bodak Yellow,' 'Be Careful,' and 'Bartier Cardi'.

Cardi is someone who, unlike many other hip-hop artists, has never claimed to be the best rapper in the world. She's here to make bangers, she's here to entertain, she's here to make schmoney, and she's absolutely killing it.

The opening and closing tracks are probably two of the biggest highlights to me, and the sequencing of the tracklist in general is spot on. It definitely adds to the already-huge replay value of the album. In general, I think the features are also very well-chosen, particularly the SZA and Kehlani hooks. I'm not the biggest fan of the YG feature, but that's probably just my personal taste. Great production, great hooks, verses with a LOT of personality and really, really great delivery by Cardi. Say what you want about Cardi's rapping skill, but her delivery is one thing that she nails every time.

Probably one of the strongest and most iconic debut albums I've heard in a while.

Honestly wasn't expecting much from Cardi B when she announced that her debut album was going to be released on April 6th. Then I went for "Ring" with Kehlani, and i absolutely loved it too. Somehow, I ended up playing the whole record. Let's just say that there are no filler tracks on here. The collaborations are absolutely on point ("Best Life" with Chance is sure to be a hit if given the right single treatment), and the solo tracks are no different, seeing that Cardi carries them all out tirelessly by herself.
All of the songs prove that, indeed, the Bronx rapper can spit bars, and her flow goes hard from one track to another; some songs even see her ditch the urban hardcore sound of "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi" to rely on an easier, more lay-back sound on "Be Careful" for example. "Thru Your Phone", another highlight, is an absolute bop, with Cardi singing the hook so sentimentally, and opener "Get Up 10" has the most personal and hardcore rap verses Cardi has ever gone for, giving "All Things Go" by Nicki Minaj a run for its money.
However, some tracks fall short here and there: "Drip" feels like a full-on Migos song, "She Bad" with YG has the worst hook on the record, and "I Like It" would've been way better without the collabs on it.
With all its ups and downs, "Invasion of Privacy" is undeniably a confident solid debut LP.

Being a female rapper, well, a female artist in general is actually a lot of work these days as you are always pitted against someone, in which, in Cardi’s case, she’s constantly pitted against Nicki Minaj, despite even working with each other.
Fortunately, Cardi and her team delivered because this album is going to be one of those albums in years to come that is iconic for not only laying down new foundations as a female rapper, but also laying down foundations for what looks like is going to be such a huge career.

This is just the start in Cardi’s career and I believe we’re going to see many big things from her. She’s humble, she doesn’t have an attitude towards other artists, she’s talented, and she knows what she’s doing. If she plays her cards right, she could be huge.

Well done Cardi for delivering a bomb ass album.

Fancy debut effort, pole position earned. This album is deffinitely going to establish her as the new hip-hop/rap sensation to say the least.

I do not have many things to say about this album because everything is summarized as a great work of hip hop. It's pure rap and that's great. I love how each song tells a different story.

While every track in here follows a rather boring formula, there was a lot of good stuff on this album nonetheless. Thumbs up.

A very strong album, however, there are many lapses. The album features many songs which could have been further promoted and end up taking away from the album rather than adding to it. Features could have been used to more extent, and the lyrics on some of the songs seem somewhat purposeless. The beats are very similar on each track, and this takes away from the album as a whole. good to be his album debut, but I think you should change the name by invasion of collaborations

It has cool songs, don't get lost in the middle, but it has WELL disposable songs and I don't believe that's all they talk about, but I expected much less.

Terrible hip-hop album, good pop album. It's not the worst thing that has ever been created, but possibly the most manufactured.

OK I don't understand why so many people hate Cardi's music anyway. I think this album is fine. Cardi's music is fine. I listen to her songs whenever I workout at the gym and it's good. I like the production and Cardi's rapping style. I think it's good. My favorites on this album are "Ring", "I Like It", "I Do", and "Bodak Yellow"

Her delivery style at best gives delicious mile-a-minute tongue-twisters, enhanced by that distinctive New Yawhk-Latinx accent. The brash vitality of the way Cardi B spits is genuinely thrilling and potent.

Too repetitive. Some of the songs are really good, like Get Up 10, I Like It and the hit Bodak Yellow, but to be honest, this record is kind of... disappointing. My expectations were not high, debuts aren't artists best work, but some can be truly great. Unfortunately, IOP is not even close to it.

Although some tracks on the project are deemed to be extremely redundant and unnecessary, overall the project is still a fun one.
Best tracks, get up 10, bickenhead, be careful, I like it, ring, thru yo phone, i dooo
Worst tracks, drip, she bad, bartier carrdiii

Cardi B breaks out with a decent debut album that suffers from clunky and rushed production, and flows that seem ripped from other rap acts, yet gets a save for decent flows and lyrics, and guest verses that save this album.

The album is good, but Cardi did not know how to balance the album's sound. It's like 13 songs, 4 are the difference and the rest looks the same. Cardi B has sinned in that, but the album is still good.

Un album con demasiado relleno diria yo, tranquilamente se podrian sacar 4-5 canciones del mismo y seria un mejor album. Por otra parte, no esta tan mal para ser su album Debut

This album repeats the same trap-rap sound that is heard constantly, with the exceptions for a few songs on the album. The lyrics don’t have any significant meaning, whether she wrote them or not is debatable. The cover art is exceptional. She has room for massive improvement, specifically regarding her flow and word choice.

Cardi has that charm of rapper but her reading is not perfect. She has to work harder and collaborate with least artists.

Too much of this album is simply 50 shades of Bodak, the appeal of which was never really apparent to me anyway. There are a few great tracks where Cardi B breaks from the monotony of the rest of the album, but they are too few to make up for the rest. This debut definitely shows promise, but in the end misses the mark much more often than it hits it.

The album starts like any other of this genre, then it goes up a bit, but then it starts to fall a horrible thing, where it puts those **** of Bad Bunny & J Balvin and then falls further down with that awful sound in "Money Bag", it seems that it will attack your ear and then if it was not enough in "She Bad" if YG did not come, I did not know if it was Snoop Dogg or Big Sean, then alreadyThe album starts like any other of this genre, then it goes up a bit, but then it starts to fall a horrible thing, where it puts those **** of Bad Bunny & J Balvin and then falls further down with that awful sound in "Money Bag", it seems that it will attack your ear and then if it was not enough in "She Bad" if YG did not come, I did not know if it was Snoop Dogg or Big Sean, then already at the middle end it is saved with a simple "ballad", without so much noise and a good collaboration with SZA.

Notes: "I Like it": Cardi B great in his part, but Bad Bunny & J Balvin came to **** the song, the rhythm is fine, but the participation of these two creatures of the shabby come out over, are garbage.
"Money Bag": The sound is unbearable, it seems that I am in a video game of the 80's or 90's or 8-bit.

Cardi b is not to my liking at all, but I have to admit that the rhythms are the best I've heard, now the collaborations he did are very bad for me. how to miss a song like I Like it, with a great rhythm, but they start singing and everything goes to the trash, the cover is extremely basic and she did it well

Cardi B is merely the latest to appear into the mainstream, a position she is sure to occupy for some time, and with enough potential showing on her debut release to give hope to anyone listening that she can only get better from here.

Invasion of Privacy is filled with carefully crafted tracks which ably show her many sides. Cardi B knows who she is and where she came from and she isn’t trying to hide it from anyone.

Invasion of Privacy is a cohesive piece of work that demands to be heard in full, from front to back, side to side, on the pole and on the stove.
