Sep 28, 2011Half of the songs are great and the other half feels filler and a bit boring. A really ambitious project and I applaud them for that.

ILOVEFooFIghtersJul 5, 2006Great album, as ever from foo fighters!

BrianMJun 14, 2005OH, WILL SOMEONE PLEASE SHUT DAVE GHROL UP AND TELL HIM HE'S NOT KURT!!!!!!!!! This whole thing is irritating and devoid of any merit of existence. If I have to listen to this once more I will with no doubt blow MY brains out with a fucking shotgun.

AndrewL.Jun 29, 2007I have to agree with Tom B. I like their older albums but I'm disappointed with "In your hornor".

VidMAug 13, 2007Excellent album. Could have done without the 2nd disc. The first five tracks are a whirlwind tour de force that carry the weaker tracks.

-
rustymJun 17, 2005first cd is great, but the second needs a little work because most of the songs sound the same

DanRFeb 9, 2006Anything done by Dave Grohl is bound to be Great, including In Your Honor. The intro IN YOUR HONOR is great, and it really Pumps you up for the rest of the album!

NeoBizzleJun 29, 2005Hard Rock Album rocks too hard for me to even listen to the acoustic. Buy the shit

DavidRAug 26, 2005My favorite Foo Fighters since the Colour and the Shape. The acoustic CD is my favorite though, I can't seem to stop listening to it.

JesusWAug 3, 2005A few great tracks, more good ones. It's growing on me as I listen to it. But this album reeks of references of Kurt or Dave's (ex)wife. There is no fanatastic track (ex:Everlong).

TomBJun 15, 2005Whatever Dave and Co. have used to sucker millions of people into thinking that this music is anything more than bland, tuneless, boring, pointless music, I will pay gladly to get the secret. My God people, what do you see in this? Grohl is incapable of writing a song. So what, then? He's a great guy, I'll buy all his records? Bleh.

ThomJun 22, 2005Critics actually know nothing, that's why they're critics and not musicians.

SteveJun 24, 2005Not since the 'Colour and the Shape' days have the Foos been on such fine form. Forget the last 2 albums, Grohl and co. act as if they nevert happened, and the musics better for it....can't get a 10 because there ain't no such thing as a perfect album, but this is tantalisingly close!

DavidCJun 27, 2005This is an excellent album. In fact, I actually went to the store and bought the real CD rather than buying from iTunes. It's worth it. The rock is fine, but the acoustic stuff will surprise you.

-
TboneMJun 29, 2005Wow this is total rock schlock. The screaming is a desperate plea for relevancy. I could only force myself to listen to the first album once, thank buddha I didn't buy it.

Awards & Rankings
-
The New York TimesThe rock CD overpowers the acoustic one. Yet among the quieter songs, there are enough supple melodies and hypnotic guitar patterns to suggest fine prospects for a follow-through album that would dare to mix plugged-in and unplugged. [12 Jun 2005]
-
Los Angeles TimesLoud, anthemic, joyous and bitter, it's easily the best Foo Fighters album in a decade. [12 Jun 2005]
-
It is clean, polished rock with a vaguely punk edge that stays within a clear set of boundaries but in doing so manages to appeal to indie-kids and metal-lovers alike.
