May 24, 2019It's a usual project including mixes of alternative R&B, neo-soul, trap and rap. It flawed too. It's not a typical Tyler, the Creator's style, since it's a R&B dominant rather than a rap one. Other than that, it's wacky (in the best way), excitable, and surprisingly addicting. This project shows how prominent Tyler can prove that he can sing.

May 17, 2019Although this is not a full rap album, this is Tyler's musically best album. So diverse and experimental. Gone, Gone/Thank You is my favorite song.
-
May 18, 2019Conceptually, this is Tyler's best album yet. Sonically, this is Tyler's best album yet.
Fans of his rapping may not enjoy the lack of rapping throughout - but if you can get past that then this album will be an amazing listen. -
May 19, 2019First Tyler album that I enjoyed front to back. IGOR is a monolith project, cohesive with its production, engaging and immersing with its atmosphere, reminds me of Gambino's "Awaken my love" in terms of musicality and atypical sound compared to previous artist's works.

May 18, 2019I expected IGOR to be a lazy cherry bomb adaptation. I got a perfect album with catchy lyrics, great instrumentals and a new theme to Tyler more iconic than flower boy and goblin combined. It is fair to say Tyler did it again. This is his best album

May 18, 2019Tyler is at a point in his career where he can make purposely awkward music sound professional and polished. This also marks the third release from the OFWGKTA camp to successfully embrace the experiential. Though not completely air-tight, "Igor" offers an exciting new direction for Tyler. One to build upon on upcoming releases.

May 17, 2019The album is truly Tyler’s most emotional and heartfelt piece of work. The production is Kanye West level quality and during the times when Tyler raps or sings or whatever he wants to do, its amazing. The album reminds me off his previous song “Enjoy right now, today” on steroids. Truly perfect.

May 18, 2019This is literally my first week listening to Tyler, and this album is a masterpiece.
The synth of his music is absolutely insane, and the tracks are supernatural.
This album achieved the prime of Flower Boy, and maybe, this is the best production of Tyler ever made.
Listen to this, you won't regret. -
May 19, 2019That's 100 because tyler made something that he have never made before and that's beautiful. Best album of his career.
-
May 19, 2019THIS IS THE ALBUM OF THE MILLENIUM ASÍ ES TYLER PATRON DE TU FAV ALBUM DWL AÑO OBRA DE ARTE

May 20, 2019This album made me cry multiple times and I’m not ashamed to say that. Long live IGOR

May 21, 2019Wow, what an album that Tyler, the Creator put together. This Album is incredible from start to finish. An absolute masterpiece.
-
May 17, 2019Damn this **** get better with each listen, im still thinking but this maybe surpass flower boy as my favorite tyler album.
-
May 18, 2019It is just an amazing piece of art. It is different to any other Tyler album though.
-
May 18, 2019This album is a sound journey, the production is amazing in so many ways man... comparing this album with fb doesn't make any sense because both have different proposals
-
May 18, 2019Tyler found the perfect balance between different music genres and rap. As of 18/05/2019 the best album this year for sure.

May 19, 2019You know, this album is just so damn beautiful. Whether it comes through the production or some of the lyricism (although his best is probably on Flower Boy), it still keeps my interest no matter what. I used to not like Tyler, The Creator's music during his Odd Future days until Flower Boy came along. Thank God he is still continuing his singing path. This is so far Album of The Year.
-
May 19, 2019Beautiful album, there are a couple of songs that sounds too pop and mellow for me but in general the production is soo good, the concept feels complete, i will listen to this for a while.

May 19, 2019One of tyler’s best work and is something true to himself and something he just wants to make. Really good sonically and the album just flows together so well. Such as the bridge on I Think and the soul and N.E.R.D influences sound. Everything about this album is just so well put together and just so replayble. To the melodies and soul sound that it gives off. Tyler pls marry me.

May 20, 2019Full of new sounds that really grab you into the songs I absolutely love this album.
The production could not be better in my opinion. -
May 18, 2019One word:
PHENOMENAL
................................................................... -
May 22, 2019Tyler might be the most entertaining artist of this generation, and IGOR just seeps with personality, HIS personality.
-
May 19, 2019Very cohesive production. I would liken it to Neptunes production with a mix of Kanye MBDTF. Very poignant messages as well. If you haven’t given it a listen I would highly recommend you do. I expect a lot of Grammy nods for the project and the song “EARFQUAKE” in particular.

The WireJul 11, 2019Things improve markedly when he plays to his strengths with the nuanced narrative of “A Boy Is A Gun”, but ultimately such moments [are] hard to hear over the pitiable “Puppet” and “Earfquake”, functional pop wisely rejected by Justin Bieber and Rihanna. When the narrative sags and his mind seems to wander, it just isn’t enough, no matter how stylish the trimmings. [Aug 2019, p.68]

Jun 27, 2019For the most part, Tyler has opted out of his rapping heritage, preferring pitch-altered singing vocals which will split some opinion. However, this elevated IGOR beyond the mere confines of genre, to a substantially great work of art, cementing Tyler's case as one of this decade's most essential artists.

Jun 21, 2019It’s an intriguing album with few dips (only Kanye’s verse on Puppet sounds rather phoned in and lacklustre), and it adds up to Tyler, The Creator’s best work to date. He may not be threatening Western civilization anymore, but he is creating something far more interesting.
