    The public can spin the narrative about Demi however they want to but one thing you can’t deny about listening to a Demi album is the vocals. I am so happy they decided to go back to an edgier rock sound because they killed this album. The production, vocals, lyrics and overall tone of the album were incredible. A few standout tracks for me were “Happy Ending”, “Wasted”, “Come Together”,The public can spin the narrative about Demi however they want to but one thing you can’t deny about listening to a Demi album is the vocals. I am so happy they decided to go back to an edgier rock sound because they killed this album. The production, vocals, lyrics and overall tone of the album were incredible. I have been a fan of Demi since their first album and I have really admired their growth as artist over the years. I truly hope they continue to stay in the Rock genre though because it just seems they feel the most at home sonically. Y’all need to give Demi their credit because she’s so underrated. Regardless of what you think about them, this album speaks for itself. It’s an incredible body of work and I hope it get’s the recognition it deserves. Well done Demi!     This album reminds me of demi's beginnings, I truly feel like it represents Demi, it feels wholehearted and sincere. It almost feels nostalgic yet cathartic. These songs amazed me and made me feel fully comfortable and I feel like there's a song for every mood. Demi did THAT. I cannot wait to see what's next cause I now there's gonna be more surprises like this album.

    HOLYFVCK is an incredible album honestly feels like an homage to late 90s/early 2000s alt/punk/pop music with a bit of metal too. Every song I'm hearing different influences of songs I grew up listening to regularly& I feel nostalgic despite it being brand new in the best way It amazes me that this album doesn’t have ANY skip song, they’re all so perfect it’s crazy

    Best album of their career so far. The lyrics have the same authenticity that their previous album had, but this time the sound it's perfect for them and it seems like Demi has finally found themself again in rock music. I'm a fan since 2011, but now I'm a proud fan of a true rockstar!

    Demi Lovato goes back to her pop rock roots, but on steroids! A lot of pop singers have tried the pop rock route but very few have the vocal abilities, angst, and lyrical content needed to be taken seriously in the genre. Demi Lovato is probably the only pop singer I can think of that can believably pull off any genre she tackles. If you are a rock fan, I guarantee you will genuinely enjoyDemi Lovato goes back to her pop rock roots, but on steroids! Demi Lovato is probably the only pop singer I can think of that can believably pull off any genre she tackles. If you are a rock fan, I guarantee you will genuinely enjoy quite a few tracks off this album, such as bangers like Freak, Eat Me, Holy Fvck, Bones, Heaven and Help Me. If you’re looking for something not quite as intense, you’ll probably enjoy tracks like Skin Of My Teeth, Substance, 29, City of Angels, Come Together, Wasted Dead Friends, and Feed. If you’re looking something to get you in your feels, you have Happy Ending and 4 Ever 4 Me. So all in all this album has something for everyone.     Embora seja possível perceber algumas semelhanças em relação aos projetos passados, músicas que soam teens como 'COME TOGETHER' ou '4 EVER 4 ME', esse é apenas um ponto de conexão que Lovato fez entre suas eras passadas e a era atual. 'SKIN OF MY TEETH', o lead single do disco, deixou uma mensagem bem clara, ela deixa evidente que estava voltando as suas raízes, mas que enxergaríamos facetas e sons novos. 'SUBSTANCE', o segundo single, funcionou como um grande refresco para o projeto, possuindo um clipe divertidíssimo e recheado de comparações com 'La La Land', do seu debut album.

    De fato, ouvindo o projeto completo, pode-se perceber como Demi Lovato foi além e serviu um som diferente para sua carreira. 'EAT ME' é um grandioso destaque, é enérgica, ousada e espinhosa. Lovato se aventura em uma densidade sonora nunca experimentada antes na carreira, o som hard-rock é brutal! Não somente em 'EAT ME', mas também a faixa-título 'HOLY FVCK', ou outras como 'HELP ME', 'HEAVEN' ou 'BONES' que são consumidas por uma raiva visceral expressada na voz de Lovato, na produção ou mesmo na composição.

    Por falar na parte lírica, o álbum possui alguns momentos diferentes: ao mesmo instante que possui arcos focados na libertação sexual, como 'CITY OF ANGELS' e 'HEAVEN', explora também experiências traumáticas, a exemplo 'HAPPY ENDING' e '29'. Diferentemente do antecessor, 'Dancing With the Devil... The Art of Starting Over', o álbum atual não se preocupa em apresentar uma história com começo, meio e fim, as temáticas da composição estão dispostas de forma espaçada. No entanto, em nenhum momento isso atrapalha a experiência do álbum. Outro ponto de destaque são as parcerias, todas elas conseguiram funcionar muito bem trazendo personalidades externas que se conectaram facilmente.

    Ainda é preciso falar como Lovato se destaca em um momento em que o Pop Punk está completamente saturado com artistas sem personalidade que veem no gênero uma forma de conseguir se destacar devido o hype atual. A artista passa longe dessa tendência e vem para mostrar que é possível fazer um som rock diferente, intenso e, em simultâneo, ter a chance de continuar sendo mainstream.

    'HOLY FVCK' é um triunfo na carreira de Demi Lovato, consegue imprimir grande autenticidade e personalidade. A cantora sabe o que está fazendo e esse álbum é a prova disso! A vertente mais pesada combinou muito com a voz da artista. Inclusive, esse disco poderia ter sido o que marcasse o retorno dela à música, o álbum passado é bem significativo e passa de forma crua e simples as intenções da cantora, mas tem algo no som rock que expressa melhor toda a raiva de alguém em processo de reabilitação.

    Enfim, ansiava por esse retorno de Lovato ao rock tem muito tempo e estou satisfeito ao máximo com trabalho que ela entregou. Nostálgico e, contrariamente, nada convencional no repertório da artista.

    há anos eu imaginava que nunca mais veria demi no rock de novo e que essa fase dela já tinha acabado. acontece que realmente nunca foi só uma fase e com esse álbum ela mostrou pra todos isso. esse álbum é como se o don’t forget e here we go again tivessem envelhecido como vinho, com algo que lembra muito os primeiros anos da carreira só que de um jeito muito mais maduro e que condiz com ahá anos eu imaginava que nunca mais veria demi no rock de novo e que essa fase dela já tinha acabado. acontece que realmente nunca foi só uma fase e com esse álbum ela mostrou pra todos isso. esse álbum é como se o don’t forget e here we go again tivessem envelhecido como vinho, com algo que lembra muito os primeiros anos da carreira só que de um jeito muito mais maduro e que condiz com a pessoa que ela é hoje. não tenho palavras pra expressar o orgulho que eu tô sentindo como lovatic, é o álbum da carreira sim!… Expand

    When you know the history of Demi’s career team and industry; and how controlling they were with her,you understand this album. the opening Freak introduce the listener in the freak show that she was passing through. And then she sings about overdose! And than… beautifully, sings about the dreams, the goals, the truth! A masterpiece! The production is WONDERFUL! and the vocals… flawless!

    I absolutely LOVE this new album, it’s relatable and there are songs for new and old fans to belt out and listen to haha. For years, my all time favourite song of hers was ‘Give Your Heart A Break’ but ‘Happy Ending’ has now taken that place. It’s also edgy, catchy and there is some heavy metal.. I think it’s great!     The best Demi’s album I’ve listened to so far. It represents her talent, magnificent vocals, and the ability to do what she knows at her best. She’s one of the best singers of all time and so underestimated sometimes because media is not prepared to such goddess
