Brilliant production done on this album. Both Drake, and 21 Savage bring each other up. The album is more Drake focused, but every song has the best elements of what make both Drizzy, and 21 Savage an iconic duo.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Really enjoyed the album, 21 Savage brought rapping Drake back. Wish 21 Savage had more time on it but I also wasn’t expecting it to be 16 songs I thought it would be around 12. They had 11 songs together, 1 song 21 Savage only & 4 songs Drake only. So basically Drake just threw a couple more solo songs to get to 16. Expand

Drake is back to his normal self. Just honest about how much he loves Texas and how he is just still around to hang out with the cool younger crowd that comes from there. This is when he is at his best.

Drake is the more predominant artist on this "collab" album but he did a great job so how can I be mad. It's easily the best Drake album since Views.

This album amazing these critics just hate on drake its been this way for years idk why but I pay attention I'm assuming it because he at the top of the rap game. 21 and drake really woke people in hiphop up there hasn't been any good albums this year besides kendrick an pusha t lets be honest and I'm talking for rap. keep it real its never been a bad drake album if it was one all his albums wouldn't be gold or platinum it all about what you like to listen to I just seen rolling stone hate on this album and I lost my mind because the whole twitter world loves it definitely someone over there that hates this guy idk why because he not going anywhere Expand

This is an incredibly good album. I can't imagine the effort getting any better than this. This Album was like that of a Mozart symphony. The songs seem to be composed by a true master of his craft and will bring you through all of the emotions from birth to death, Love, Hate, Sadness, and despair. This album was made for anyone with ears, It has cured the deaf and fed the hungry, this album is a masterpiece. I only use that word because there is no word with greater meaning.

Her Loss is scattered, flowing more like a mixtape than a well-designed album, but there are plenty of highlights to balance out the less fully formed inclusions.

The best moments come when the duo find a balance and Drake falls back on his crate-digging prowess. ... Sadly, there’s not enough of this to go around, making Her Loss another disposable Drake project that will fade away in a few weeks—one that could have been so much more.

“Her Loss” is frisky and centerless, a mood more than a mode. ... Often on this album — “More M’s,” “Privileged Rappers” — it feels as if they are ceding space to each other, side by side but not interwoven. Sometimes, like on “Spin Bout U,” they successfully melt into something greater than their parts.
