    By far one of the best records of the year. GUTS, shows the growth of Olivia's craft, writing about themes that aren't really being touched or explored at the moment, making the album very original and unique . 10/10!!

    spilling facts: GUTS is so much better than SOUR. when I though it would be really hard for her to beat SOUR, she did it & DEVOURED everything and everyone. the Avril Lavigne and 90s/00s vibes are so notorious and I’m living for it because I LOVE it. I was shocked the whole time by the lyrics and production of it. each track is better than the other and OMG her vocals are just perfect,spilling facts: GUTS is so much better than SOUR. when I though it would be really hard for her to beat SOUR, she did it & DEVOURED everything and everyone. the Avril Lavigne and 90s/00s vibes are so notorious and I’m living for it because I LOVE it. I mean when this girl starts playing the piano I already know she’s going to make me cry. the production, the lyrics (like OMG OLIVIA IS AN AMAZING COMPOSER), the sonority… everything just mixes and matches perfectly. the first song already got me to heaven and it just gets progressively better. antis will have to be really bitter and pretend a LOT that this album isn’t good because it’s impossible to really think this album is bad. everyone who listened to it knows that, and the real acclaim that the album is receiving just proves what I’m saying. definitely one of or even the best album of the year and one of the biggest pop albums of the decade. definitely deserves the Album Of The Year at the Grammys and it will, for sure, be one of the principal contenders.     it has no weak points, but it has the least good ones (does not mean they are bad, but among the others it does not stand out)

    “Teenage Dream” recycles a song title of Katy Perry’s and echoes a twisty-turny melody of Lana Del Rey’s. Yet Rodrigo’s emotional presence is so strong throughout “Guts” — so believable even at its most unrelatable — that you never lose the sense of a specific young person navigating a trial of her own making.
