    There's no holding back from Dua Lipa on Future Nostalgia. The bouncing dance tracks and strong vocals make this an enjoyable album to listen to again and again. The strong messages of feminism found on tracks like "Boys Will Be Boys" and "Future Nostalgia" make the album all the better. Future Nostalgia is easily one of the best albums of the decade, and it leaves me wanting moreThere's no holding back from Dua Lipa on Future Nostalgia.     A bop after bop after bop; "Future Nostalgia" has everything to make you dance, and even though I didn't really like the last two songs (I think it would've been better if she just left them out), it doesn't change a thing about how magnificent this album is. This is pop perfection, and without a doubt, one of the best pop records released in recent times.

The name 'Future Nostalgia' perfectly suits the feel and sound of this album, it has futuristic vibes but also has some nostalgic pop aspects to it, and we'll DEFINITELY look back on this album in 20 years from now and refer to it as a classic, and Dua Lipa will be remembered as the woman who saved the mainstream pop music with this fantastic work of art.… Expand

    no one did like her, she literally created a standard and aesthetic level for pop! while some other singers are still doing the same thing on album 5 Dua on album 2 has fabricated a new pop formula, she has the greatest potential to be our next pop princess she deserves it

    Arguably, the best pop album of 2020. Many artist have been trying to bring the late 80´s, 90´s vibe back to the music game, but none could do it like Dua did in Future Nostalgia. One of the most impressing things about this album is the cohesion, from the begginning till the end. Perfect work, Dua.

El álbum encapsula una variedad de sonidos específicos que nos transportan automáticamente a las décadas de los 80's y 90's, donde una mezcla entre el disco, funk y dance inundaban la mayor parte de clubes nocturnos. Dua se hace valer de este recurso, la nostalgia por el pasado, para reinventarse a sí misma y a toda la escena pop en general.

    Desde himnos bailables y llenos de energía, como lo son "Don't Start Now" y "Physical", hasta canciones con una atmósfera más relajada y sofisticada, "Pretty Please" y "Boys Will Be Boys", el álbum está lleno de joyas musicales que seguramente se convertirán en clásicos.

    Future Nostalgia llega a desmentir el mito de que las segundas partes no son tan buenas como las primeras, de hecho logra superar por mucho a su predecesor trabajo "Dua Lipa" al grado de que podría considerarse como un proyecto demasiado ostentoso y pretensioso. Sin embargo, la británica opta por desafiar sus propios límites y explotar al máximo su creatividad como artista para mostrarnos una nueva faceta de ella, la de popstar.

    É daqueles álbuns que chega ao final e você dá graças a Deus que o Spotify tem transição entre uma música e outra porque aí ele começa de novo e entra naquele loop eterno de quando a gente encontra um novo vício. Dua usou uma pesquisa completamente inovadora e teve papel fundamental em moldar como o a música pop está transformando. Talvez percebamos isso daqui uns anos, mas é uma produçãoÉ daqueles álbuns que chega ao final e você dá graças a Deus que o Spotify tem transição entre uma música e outra porque aí ele começa de novo e entra naquele loop eterno de quando a gente encontra um novo vício. Dua usou uma pesquisa completamente inovadora e teve papel fundamental em moldar como o a música pop está transformando. Talvez percebamos isso daqui uns anos, mas é uma produção com grande relevância, elevando a carreira de Dua Lipa a um nível de super estrela.     Dua Lipa manages to consecrate herself as one of the most famous artists with her second studio album, demonstrating that her nostalgic sounds combine perfectly with the futuristic ones. Statics and singles are very well chosen.

    I just need to say that I went to the Future Nostalgia concert and I am shaking and pissing this is the best pop album I've ever listened to.

    Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
