A perfect mixture of enhanced pop and disco music. Certainly would not go out-of-date for the next 30 years and still would enjoy it. Levitating and Hallucinate are two of more of her masterpieces.

Cool is a song with a romantic summer-vibe on it, Levitating is a love-at-first sight type of song with bubbly disco beats, Hallucinate is about being crazy with someone while dancing in a 90s music fest, and Boys Will Be Boys is a ballad about female empowerment.

this record is a time-traveling experience while delving into heartbreaks and falling in love again (Love Again), with empowering break-up songs (Don’t Start Now), and just full-on being wild at a party (Physical)

hands down 5 out of 5.

Dua Lipa demuestra porque sin duda es la promesa del Pop al traernos esta obra de arte, muy variada que nos recuerda mucho a la biblia que nos dio Madonna Confessions On A Dancefloor Launch Graphics.

Dua serves disco beats and pop perfection. Every single track is different from the other. There are some stand-out tracks for me, they are "Hallucinate", "Don't Start Now" and "Good in Bed". Special mention to "Boys Will be Boys". Must listen

Dua delivers as usual that unique, deep and truthful voice that makes you distinguish her as soon as she starts singing. Throughout the album we can actually discover that her voice is the real protagonist and I do really appreciate it. Her singing feels natural and raw but it is not. She achieves to have a voice that just feels true to what she is singing and makes the listener connect better and deeper with the song. My recommendation? Just let her voice flow into you and move you, get lost in it.

This album serves as an example of a cohesive work that has been executed beautifully and thoughtfully, no detail was unfinished or unpolished. No song is a filler, she has chosen carefully to make every song count and thrive on its own. I can almost tell how many instrumentation was used in every song. The production is rich, beautiful (and expensive) but does not feel too much, its just the perfect companion and makes Dua's voice shine. It is an example of how sometimes, natural, minimalist but complex work perfectly.

The lyrics are pretty straight forward as Dua is. However, it's due to its simplicity that we find the beauty and connection with them. Lyrics are bold, fearless, sexy and empowering. Dua has told many times she's not afraid to speak her mind and this album is a clear example of it. She starts and ends strong in the album; a bold, empowering "Future Nostalgia" to make clear she has not come to play but to show how it's done (and she shows it very well) and a melancholic, real and deep "Boys Will Be Boys" to end it to keep things real and getting us back to Earth after levitating with her album. Personally I do appreciate that the last song was "Boys Will Be Boys" as if Dua is telling us through the majority of the album to enjoy, be empowered and feel sexy but ends with a strong "never forget what reality is like". Very clever move Dua!

All in all, I personally believe this album will lead the way of a new era for pop music and Dua will be a perfect and strong bold outspoken fearless leader, as it is a recap of every good sound that has been and a perfect start to pave the way for the new decade of pop. I perfectly see this album giving Dua's first Grammy for "Album Of The Year". Mark my words.

Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
