    An almost perfect pop record. The lyrics are the definition of brilliant pop songwriting: managed to be direct, catchy, short, and repetitive yet it's able to deliver the message and emotion. Combined with the big 80s and 90s themed productions, the first 9 tracks are definitely Dua Lipa's best songs by far. The album doesn't really finish as strong as it starts because the last 2 tracksAn almost perfect pop record.     The album is like a perfect mix of old pop school and very modern sound with the vibes of what we expect in future pop-culture. It feels like this is standard of making pop-music for next generation pop-stars. Clear statements and super-catchy songs. Good job!

    Dua Lipa really has to drive fast in her admittedly very cool car, because right now shes behind the curve, that really trendsetting    'Future Nostalgia' is nothing more than the name promises.     Lipa, she has shown power with everything, she has talent, it shows because she has a way of excelling, she dazzles, it is exciting to feel the rhythm, her Future Nostalgia album is a gem, with characteristics and small details that make it exceptional, it drags you to a new musical shot and reminds you that pop music still has hope

    UPDATE: at the third time I was listening to the songs, i noticed that all the songs were forgetable, i felt in a Renner store...

    Aunque el nuevo álbum de Dua Lipa está muy dentro del promedio y su Pop realmente no propone nada nuevo, lo que logra junto a sus 11 productores, es expandir el concepto de lo Disco, Retro Dance con sonidos futuristas y revivirlo 40 años después. Las ventajas que se pueden encontrar en "Future Nostalgia" es que aquella memoria de los 80s se adapta con efectividad a la demanda    ( 81/100 )

    Aunque el nuevo álbum de Dua Lipa está muy dentro del promedio y su Pop realmente no propone nada nuevo, lo que logra junto a sus 11 productores, es expandir el concepto de lo Disco, Retro Dance con sonidos futuristas y revivirlo 40 años después. Las ventajas que se pueden encontrar en "Future Nostalgia" es que aquella memoria de los 80s se adapta con efectividad a la demanda actual de Pop y fácilmente impulsa a sys fanáticos a bailar y cantar sobre amor y desamor con algo de empoderamiento. La voz de Dua Lipa se mezcla bien con la producción y varias canciones serán agradables de revisitar gracias a productores como Ian Kirkpatrick, Stuart Price, el gran SG Lewis, watt y The Monsters & Strangerz. En general, aunque no es nada espectacular, lo que Dua Lupa hace bien en su nuevo álbum es unir aquello que no se debe de perder de la esencia de los 80s con la calidad musical actual.

    Even if the new album of Dua Lipa is very average and her Pop doesn't propose something new, what she achieves along with 11 producers is to expand the concept of Disco, Retro-Dance with futuristic sounds and bring it back 40 years after. The advantage that can be found in "Future Nostalgia" is that 80's memory well adapted to the actual Pop demand and easily inspires its fanatics to dance and sing about love and heartbreaks with some empowerment. Dua Lipa's voice is well mixed with the production and that's thanks to producers Ian Kirkpatrick, Stuart Price, the great SG Lewis, watt, and The Monsters & Strangerz. In general, even if this is nothing spectacular, what Dua Lipa does right in her new album is to join that that must not be lost of the 80s essence with the quality of actual music.    … Expand

Dua Lipa's sophomore album is a total 180° from her debut in terms of quality, catchiness, lyrics and sounds that cames from the 70s up til 90s, and is enough to make you dance again in nostalgia, hence the name Future Nostalgia. Physical, Break My Heart, Don't Start Now, Cool and Levitating stands out from the other tracks but the album as a whole, don't feel like it had a filler or two.… Expand

    The way she reinvented her whole sound and went from being the 2017 "it" girl to a completely polished popstar bringing back retro sounds but coating them with her own signature mark. Timeless album

    Amazing pop album that I'm sure will win many rewards. Dua always comes through with pop music and is really setting the tone for the 20's with this album.

It's a full body of work that seems cohesive and put together inside a lab, with all elements being put together to a microscopic level to achieve the artist's perfect vision. Dua Lipa might have been seen as just another generic pop musician, but this mixture of re-imagined disco bangers"Future Nostalgia" is one of those rare albums that's all strong sounds with zero unnecessary songs. It's a full body of work that seems cohesive and put together inside a lab, with all elements being put together to a microscopic level to achieve the artist's perfect vision.     A pop defying album. Out and out fun album. Dua Lips is a artist to look forward. In this time of pandemic, she really gave us an album and taught how to not take yourself to seriously.

    Best album of 2020 so far. Not a bad track on the disc. Super fun album. Great dance/pop songs. Makes me wish it was summer already; pool parties with Dua blaring out of the speakers.

    Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
