    This album is a k-pop masterpiece.
    It really brings back all disco vibes and once again twice filled our hearts with contagious rhythms. Great gathering of many good songs in one place. All tracks are bangers!

    This album explores the quality of the music TWICE's been making in the last couple of years. The versatility of styles they can deliver in 15 songs is insane, from the melodic and slow vibe in "Rewind" to the explosion of joy and expressiveness in "The Feels", and even the elegant and exquisite aura from "Espresso", their identity is showed in every track.

    Honestly, one of the best albums I've heard in a very long time. I grew up with some of the best music from late 80s thru the 2000s and it has been a long time since I have heard an album I did not want to skip a song. It is truly remarkable to have 16 (17 if you incl the album only the feels kr ver) tracks on a single album that are all exceptional. Add to that, these girls have been contributing to their music with songwriting and production. Most of their female peers have barely any music coming out these days but it's unimaginable to think how much GOOD music TWICE manages to churn out almost every quarter. Definitely album of the year worthy. We'll see what kind of competition will stack against it in the year ahead, but it's a bonafide fact NO ONE is doing it like these 9 incredibly talented women.… Expand

    A great album! It´s very coherent and shows different sides of Twice, you can see they are including new sonorities and getting bolder (in comparision w their previous releases) and in my opinion, they did a good job.

    Formula of Love sets the bar for K-Pop. The opening track, "Scientist", is what you'd expect out of a Twice title track. With edgier songs like "Icon" and "Hello" as well as a ballad, "Cactus", among its offerings, this album has something for everyone.

    I don't listen to TWICE much but decided to check this album out due to high reviews and I must say, I am quite impressed and definitely agree with them. Has definitely kept me listening to it so far. Each track has a unique sound overall a very good album!

    i'm currently exploring kpop and this by far is the best kpop album that i've listened to! a highly-produced songs with different genres, and knowing that some members contributed on the songwriting is amazing! i also listened to their latest ep, between 1&2, and mind you, that's another masterpiece!

    This album is one of the best album from Twice. While scientist is not their strongest title, i think all the bsides are perfect. My fav from the album is moonlight and cactus.

    Antes de que critiques escucha el álbum, yo las conocí con su anterior álbum "Eyes Wide Open" y pensé que no podría ser superado, pero este álbum lo supera para mi tanto en buenas canciones, ritmos buenos y pegadizos, buenos vocales y nuevas experiencias que no había escuchado, es innovador este álbum para mi el mejor álbum de kpop del 2021.

    It's so good. I just find a bit of a problem with Cactus and Hello but they're not terrible. They just don't compare to the rest of the songs. Such a good album. No skip.

    La primera mitad del disco es en su mayoría canciones muy bien logradas con influencias de pop ochentero, de las cuales me parece destacable Fall in love again (las voces de nayeon y jihyo suenan muy bien en las notas altas y en el coro, y siempre que la escucho me dan ganas de bailar) después esta last waltz que tiene un aire de dramático, y en la que destaca para mi la voz de Sana,La primera mitad del disco es en su mayoría canciones muy bien logradas con influencias de pop ochentero, de las cuales me parece destacable Fall in love again (las voces de nayeon y jihyo suenan muy bien en las notas altas y en el coro, y siempre que la escucho me dan ganas de bailar) después esta last waltz que tiene un aire de dramático, y en la que destaca para mi la voz de Sana, también es una canción muy buena en la que TWICE sigue explorando con nuevos sonidos. Rewind es una canción que hace bajar el ritmo y prepara al oyente para Cactus, Cactus fue co producida y dirigida por Jihyo y es un buen resultado para su primera vez componiendo, es como balada pop/rock de los 2000, el trabajo hecho en las voces es excelente ya que se puede sentir la emoción y esfuerzo de cada una.
    Push and pull vuelve a subir el animo, es una canción muy alegre en la cual las voces transmiten diversión, jihyo rapeó bien. Hello es una canción con un beat muy bueno, es energético y el pre coro es diferente pero conecta bien con el resto de la canción, chaeyoung rapea y canta muy bien, Momo me sorprendió porque transmite la idea de la letra y me encanta que rapea después de un buen tiempo, Nayeon rapea por 2da vez desde que esta en TWICE y lo hizo bien. 1, 3, 2, es una canción en la que el beat combina bien con varios sonidos como de viento "orientales" y desprende sensualidad y ganas de bailar, me encantan los adlibs y como cada una de las chicas destaca.
    The feels: realmente uno de las mejores canciones de kpop en ingles, con un coro super fuerte, donde las voces de nayeon y jihyo muestran buena parte de su capacidad, y aun asi a pesar de la distribución de lineas cada miembro hace una parte memorable.
    Es increíble la calidad del álbum en la que cada canción es diferente, las chicas exploran nuevos facetas (nayeon, jihyo, mina, jeongyeon, como raperas), siguen participando activamente en la creación de las canciones, prueban nuevos sonidos y son capaces de traer géneros que actualmente son muy famosos y hacer que sea memorable. Feeling like bawling by listening to CACTUS or dancing the MJ out by listening to THE FEELS to literally vibing with their individual unit songs...each with their own specifications...     Chef's Kiss!!! This is my go-to album! I listen to it waking up, while taking a shower, cooking, doing errands, taking long rides, anywhere, anytime. It is pack of different genres, so prepare yourself with different twirl of emotions! My fave is MOONLIGHT as it automatically lifts my mood and gives good energy vibes. If you want something serious or music to your soul i prefer CACTUS orChef's Kiss!!! This is my go-to album! Formula of Love came with amazing songs, with different vibes, we have Latin base songs, hip hop, pop, EDM, ballad, we go from happiness, to sadness, then we get showered in love, dance and soHonestly, Twice never fails to surprised me with their work! They always find a way to improve, to deliver consistency while putting new music to show, but never losing their way to be, well, TWICE.     The members of TWICE have proven time and time again that they are in a league of their own. This album is fun, brilliant, and cohesive. It’ll put you in the mood for love and make you feel like you’re dancing in the moonlight with a lover.

    This album exceeds expectations in every way. I would not skip a single song on this album because of the wide diversity of music. Their vocals are incredible, and given the variety of tunes, it's incredible that they have such a wide range of voices. The lyricism is excellent, and I applaud the composers for a job well done.     This album has everything. The various genres, styles, and sounds across the album might seem like the album would be disjointed but somehow it works. Scientist is a mellow but addictive tune that makes you bounce in your seat, Moonlight, F.I.L.A, and Cruel have a dance-y, 70s/80s, nostalgia style pop that reminds of Carly Rae Jepsen or Dua Lipa, Icon is a perfect hype song (I listened toThis album has everything. The unit tracks all bring a completely different flavor but pull off their respective styles flawlessly. The Feels is one of the BEST pop songs of 2021.

    All in all this album has everything and it contributes to TWICE's ever expanding and versatile, but flawless, discography.    … Expand

    Formula of Love could have been trimmed to 10 strong cuts and I am sure it would have been one of the tightest Kpop albums in recent years. It’s easy to dismiss it due to the genre it represents, but there was considerable effort put into most of these songs, so it’s worth some listens.
