    Folklore is Taylor's most sonically and lyrically cohesive and most magical album to date. She explores the joys and pains of love and nostalgia, as well as an array of other themes. Her voice complements the folky, indie style of this album beautifully and the feature track with Bon Iver is a real treat. Another standout track is My Tears Ricochet, which is a self written masterpiece. SheFolklore is Taylor's most sonically and lyrically cohesive and most magical album to date. I may never get what I want from her anymore (“1989” 2.0 is no more than a dream by now), but “Folklore” is what I and many other people strangely needed right now. The slender man aesthetic and the outdated magical childish Disney sound of the album seem to clash every time Swift hits a flat note.     This album is just beyond beautiful, the lyrics are probably the best lyrics i have ever heard in my life. Definitely deserves album of the year!

    Sin lugar a duda, es el album más maduro y profundo que la estadounidense ha publicado en toda su carrera. La calidad lírica y el minimalismo de las canciones hacen del trabajo una obra indie/folk maestra. No es solo la reina del pop, es la reina de todo lo que se proponga porque es la mejor compositora que la música alumbra en muchísimos años. Enhorabuena

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
