    I just love this album sooo much. There are songs for every kind of mood, you can shake your *ss if you want, you can feel sexy, and you can have a good cry as well. She is such an amazing artist, and I love her mature lyrics and voice. ❤️❤️

    The album has some very strong points and some dull moments. I don't observe any bad moments, but this album is mediocre. I appreciated the acknowledgment of family and home, but at times it came off as slightly cheesy. The instrumentals were good, but nothing special. The highlight track was Psychofreak, but the "tryna stay connected, no wifi" lyric makes me cringe. Overall it's a fineThe album has some very strong points and some dull moments.     Love everything about this album. Vulnerable, creative, fun. I love that she is completely in her own lane here. This album doesn't sound like anyone or anything else out right now!

    Something is missing.. And I am saying this as a huge Camila fan. She should work with Mark Ronson and give us emo bops. This Latin sound is so boring and unoriginal and I am 100% sure that she doesn’t enjoy this album. Romance remains superior for now.

    I'm not much a fan, as in I don't tune in to the stuff that she does religiously.. but she's a talent for sure, and this is definitely her best work to date!! Wasn't sure I would like the sound or feel of this album after the first single came out but this is a work of art. some songs are latin influenced of course, but there's songs in there with an R & B feel to it, and then they'veI'm not much a fan, as in I don't tune in to the stuff that she does religiously.. but she's a talent for sure, and this is definitely her best work to date!!     This met my expectations by being very bland and generic. This record is as uninspired as all her other's seemingly at the mercy of her weak voice and song writing. The ed sheeran feature feels ornamental and incongruous to the songs nearly appealing sound. All in all this was not an enjoyable affair.

    It sounds so dated and forced from her exploring her ancestral culture, she's great at English and could make really good music. It seems like he hits everything in a blender and plays to attract the attention of the largest possible audience. His voice seems to have improved a lot, the problem is really in the production and the lyrics, it didn't captivate me at all.     Don't Go Yet promised bombastic Latin-pop celebrating the idiosyncrasies of family but the album turns out to be almost entirely about Shawn Mendes. And it's not even good. Some standout tracks are Don't Go Yet, Bam Bam (limp, but somewhat catchy) and La Buena Vida, but none of them contribute to an overall cohesive sound. Psychofreak, Quiet and Everyone At This Party are all largely based around their respective, dull hooks and Lola is nothing more than virtue-signalling and a poor attempt at folklore-style storytelling that goes down like a lead balloon. Barely worth a listen for anyone who isn't a die hard fan of Cabello or the particular style of simple, diaristic and yet hollow Latin-pop that swamps this record.… Expand

    This album is her best yet. She sounds much better in her mother language. Ps : hasta los dientes, la buena vida and boys don't cry are the best songs in my opinion.

    Tracklist is a bit chaotic. She tried to make an album inspired in Cuban music but has English-speaking singers featured and shallow lyrics. It is nice to listen to but nothing over the top.

    With Familia, Camilla begins to enter a period of her career where nothing she does is satisfactory enough for both of her fans and critics alike. With generic Latin pop tunes screaming at you, and a misplaced EDM track (psychofreak), Familia manages numerous attempts to keep the album to sound the same - and successfully does so (it's not a good thing).

Familia showcases Camila's greatest strengths - her honing in on her heritage, making up for bright colorful, energetic latin-pop tunes such as 'Don't Go Yet', 'La Buena Vida', or 'Hasta Los Dientes', the third mightProbably her best work thus far, Familia captures the essence of Camila Cabello, opposed to her radio-focused debut studio effort, and her slightly clunky follow-up 'Romance'. Familia showcases Camila's greatest strengths - her honing in on her heritage, making up for bright colorful, energetic latin-pop tunes such as 'Don't Go Yet', 'La Buena Vida', or 'Hasta Los Dientes', the third might ending up becoming one of her greatest songs in her extending discography. Other highlights, such as 'psychofreak', despite it's clunky lyrics, showcases the inner mind of Cabello and the constant pressures and battles she has to deal with consistently on a daily basis. Or the pop-record 'Quiet', which honestly, encapsulates the feeling of her anxiety very well, the tension arising and her mind going quiet once she receives the craving attention of her lover. The highlights are Celia, who opens the album very well accompanied by the interlude Familia; No Doubt and the Maria Becerra's feat. in Hasta Los Dientes.     Another step on the right direction, more latin flavored with some great disco/ rock experiments that happen to be the best on the album. A great artistic development but worse than her debut.

    A produção desse álbum me surpreendeu bastante, eu já esperava que seria muito boa por todo o planejamento conceitual em cima dele, mas o resultado ainda assim foi impressionante. FAMILIA traz uma riqueza de instrumentos e ritmos em sua produção, e Camila entrega letras pessoais e sensíveis sobre o que tem acontecido em sua vida durante esses tempos. O álbum é bastante coeso, todas asA produção desse álbum me surpreendeu bastante, eu já esperava que seria muito boa por todo o planejamento conceitual em cima dele, mas o resultado ainda assim foi impressionante. FAMILIA traz uma riqueza de instrumentos e ritmos em sua produção, e Camila entrega letras pessoais e sensíveis sobre o que tem acontecido em sua vida durante esses tempos.     A capable vocalist with a lightly nasal tone and a dramatic streak, Cabello rarely misses an opportunity to riff or sail into her wispy head voice. But her spoken delivery can be just as captivating.
