And all of the featured artist sound amazing on these tracks. The mixture of Spanish, English, and Spanglish on this album is absolutely phenomenal.     I think this is an album where Camila is really raw and vulnerable. We can feel what she wants to express in her song and all the songs have a different beat but all are amazing.

    O álbum em si é muito coeso, as letras, melodias, os vocais. Com músicas animadoras e sentimentais camila fez muito bem entregando um álbum incrível como esse. Expressou muito bem seus sentimentos nas letras e entregou ritmos latinos mexicanos como faz parte de sua cultura, camila arrasou. Demais!

    I was excited to listen to Camila's new album Familia. And it more than exceeded my expectations! This album sounds like Camila's most intimate and authentic songwriting to date. It's the story of her life journey over the past two years and deals with two main main topics: her very public romantic relationship (and subsequent breakup) and her mental health healing process. But the albumI was excited to listen to Camila's new album Familia. And it more than exceeded my expectations! This album sounds like Camila's most intimate and authentic songwriting to date. It's the story of her life journey over the past two years and deals with two main main topics: her very public romantic relationship (and subsequent breakup) and her mental health healing process. But the album also honours her Latin roots through use of classic Cuban and Mexican instruments in the production such as the mariachi in La Buena Vida. It makes for a very unique and sonically satisfying experience. Somehow Camila manages to inject Latin into mainstream pop seamlessly. There are plenty of BOPs to dance to, but there are some very impactful ballads that stay with you such as Lola and Everyone at this Party. For me, this is one of the few albums I ever listen to that has zero skips even after many listens. Outstanding work by Camila showcasing her willingness to take risks for her art and growth as an artist. I predict she will be one of the greats of the music industry for a long time. ❤️❤️❤️… Expand

    perfect concept and so cohesive album, it turns you to an amazing journey to explore with her and her thoughts and feelings. lola is a lyric masterpiece, which deserves at least one grammy, along the album at least a nomination. amazing camila cabello, our princess of latin pop.

Amazing sounds and great use of Hispanic sounds and melodies. She's also raising awareness about important topics such as adultification, anxiety, toxic masculinity, personal insecurities, difficulties of women in 3rdAn absolute win for Camila.     This album is not only diverse and beautiful, but it speaks of feelings that are hard for me to explain. It makes me feel seen and its like she went to the deepest crevices of my mind and made songs out of them. Highly, highly recommend!

    Familia is in my opinion the best album of 2022 so far. There is a mixture of rythms, and she goes back to her latin roots which is awesome. I feel like she put a lot of effort on it and it shows in every lyric.

    Buena producción, la lírica llega a ser simple en algunos pero compleja en otras canciones. Lola y Boys Don't Cry tratan temas interesante. Sólo faltó un poquito de cohesión entre las pistas del álbum para que pareciera más un proyecto unido.

Familia showcases Camila's greatest strengths - her honing in on her heritage, making up for bright colorful, energetic latin-pop tunes such as 'Don't Go Yet', 'La Buena Vida', or 'Hasta Los Dientes', the third might ending up becoming one of her greatest songs in her extending discography.     An improvement from her last album and her best one so far. Lola is the best song she's ever made, it has an important message and the production is beautiful. There are some songs here that feel out of place and those are psychofreak, Quiet and everyone at this party. I feel like they don't really fit within the album and Lola was better as a closer. 7.4 out of 10

I appreciated the acknowledgment of family and home, but at times it came off as slightly cheesy. The instrumentals were good, but nothing special.     Something is missing.. And I am saying this as a huge Camila fan. She should work with Mark Ronson and give us emo bops. This Latin sound is so boring and unoriginal and I am 100% sure that she doesn’t enjoy this album. Romance remains superior for now.

    Tracklist is a bit chaotic. She tried to make an album inspired in Cuban music but has English-speaking singers featured and shallow lyrics. It is nice to listen to but nothing over the top.

    With Familia, Camilla begins to enter a period of her career where nothing she does is satisfactory enough for both of her fans and critics alike. With generic Latin pop tunes screaming at you, and a misplaced EDM track (psychofreak), Familia manages numerous attempts to keep the album to sound the same - and successfully does so (it's not a good thing).

    This met my expectations by being very bland and generic. This record is as uninspired as all her other's seemingly at the mercy of her weak voice and song writing. The ed sheeran feature feels ornamental and incongruous to the songs nearly appealing sound. All in all this was not an enjoyable affair.

Psychofreak, Quiet and Everyone At This Party are all largely based around their respective, dull hooks and Lola is nothing more than virtue-signalling and a poor attempt at folklore-style storytelling that goes down like a lead balloon. Barely worth a listen for anyone who isn't a die hard fan of Cabello or the particular style of simple, diaristic and yet hollow Latin-pop that swamps this record.… Expand

    It sounds so dated and forced from her exploring her ancestral culture, she's great at English and could make really good music. It seems like he hits everything in a blender and plays to attract the attention of the largest possible audience. His voice seems to have improved a lot, the problem is really in the production and the lyrics, it didn't captivate me at all.     Its such an empty album, the context behind the name has no similarity or coherence with the songs, maybe one or two but the others have nothing to do with it. Repetitive lyrics, the only thing it generates is disgust, I really didn't like it at all
