    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Basic Kpop album has nothing special, raw or warm to offer unlike albums from his band members RM or Jhope's previous debuts. He shows some attempts but they fall flat just pretending to be intimate but following basic formula and not being personal enough unlike it's claim to show his real "Face" He still has long way to go or he will only be just another idol who dances well that's all. good luck for his next project, hope he can show a more personal side of him next time… Expand

    Even though it's short, singer succeeded in conveying his story with different genres of music. Every song is a master piece. It doesn't feel like his debut album. His voice is excellent.

    I wish I could experience this album for the first time again. Jimin gives us a peek into a side of him that he kept hidden during the pandemic. His beautiful vocals draw you into his story and leave you wanting more.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To begin, this entire album of Jimin's is a piece of art! Face-Off immediately catches the listeners attention and the instrumental is stunning! The interlude while not technically a song is enjoyable to hear because you can hear Jimin talk during a concert and when he addressed the crowd you can just feel the happiness in his voice. The next track Like Crazy is so full of emotions about want to just hide away from reality because it to painful; almost like dropping into a dream. Jimin has given a tiny peek into his true self and emotions. Set Me Free Pt.2 is a look into another side of Jimin that his fans don't get to see very often. His emotions seems to hit a breaking point in this song and he's setting himself free. Free of other's expectations, judgment and the needless hate from his haters. He quite literally tells them to **** off! The artistic use of auto tune gives a nice touch to the song. Like Crazy English Version is the final track on his EP. Much like it's Korean counter part, it showcases Jimin's emotions so well. Now if you listen to the physical CD of this album then you'll actually find a hidden track called Letters. It seems most fitting that he's given his ARMY a secret little gift. A song genuinely meant for his fans and for nobody else's judgement. A fellow group member, Jungkook, lends his voice for background vocals which blend so well with Jimin's countertenor voice. This song is probably the most raw and emotional you'll ever hear Jimin get. It's a completely outstanding album. I look forward to more solo work from Jimin!… Expand

    I personally feel like the album in its entirety is a reflection of struggling with yourself and every type of relationship with people, it did help me reflect on myself and my life nowadays

    FACE ALBUM by Jimin is a Masterpiece. All the Six tracks are amazing. Jimin has tried different things as a Solo Artist, and it's perfect. I like all the six tracks but Set Me Free Pt.2 is my favorite followed by Interlude : Dive, Alone and Like Crazy. Jimin's thoughts, pains, struggles during the pandemic has been well displayed.     this album has helped me a lot. it holds many thoughts of the artist and how he felt during the pandemic. would definitely recommend it to others especially teens in their early 20s

As you go from one track to the other, you feel the variety and depth of emotions the artist is trying to convey. It contains a meaningful story that narrates loss, confusion, anger, and finally, acceptance and freedom. Jimin was able to exemplify his vocal range and courage to explore different genres andAlthough there are only six tracks, the album delivers a complete and moving story.     I’m so impressed by this album. It’s short but extremely well made and we get to really see what Jimin can do with his voice. The tracks, but especially Face-off, Interlude: Dive and Like Crazy, experiment with creating a rich sonic landscape where background sounds weave into the music.     The fact that Jimin participated in the creation of his first solo album was a big accomplishment already. I am hoping that the album contained at least 10 songs but still, Jimin was able to showcase his abilities. As an overall impression, his album revealed his hidden feelings and free himself.

    I really loved the album from the start till the end. Jimin really explored his vocals and delivered beautifully. The genres differ and so does the story but it flows when you listen to the album in the order of tracklist. Jimin said he wanted to deliver a story and he made this album expressing his emotions and it really shows.     The album is pure perfection. Jimin's vocal range is astounding and he tries different genres here, showcasing his versatility as a singer. I don't feel like the album is too short. I think it perfectly encapsulates the story that Jimin wanted to convey to us. And I'm glad Letter was a hidden song. Beautiful as it was, I dont feel like it fit into this album. Great album my personal fav are face-off along with the singles (set me free pt2 , like crazy) it deserves to be a single special mention for like crazy English version it’s so good it doesn’t seem like just a version of a song it’s like an original English song and his pronunciation is great he has improved so much Alone is great song too it has a good vibe not to mention the lyrics are great and sad… Expand

    I currently cannot pick a favorite between Face-Off and Like Crazy. Though the other tracks aren’t far behind. I like that the English Version of Like Crazy doesn’t sound like a crappy translation. The lyrics are incredible and I find the songs very relatable (especially Alone). I am thoroughly impressed and will look forward to future releases from Jimin.

    While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

    Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
