It's quite evident seeing how politicized reviews of Kanye's latest albums have been, despite having very high praise from the general public.     Everything is Love is a really good album, first it's my taste of music.. the title track music video was so stunningly beautiful..i love the first song to the last song definitely no skips!

    I have really been enjoying listening to the album, the more I listen to it the more I like it. I didn't expect this kind of album but I am very pleasantly surprised. My favorite songs are Apesh*t, Black Effect and Friends

    It's a sound that we are used to. Everything may be love, but not the one for music. The duo combination seems more like a publicity stunt than an artistic encounter. There are no more refrains and melodies, just rhythms without any logical sense. It's a NO.

    Everything is Love is fire of an album between the post powerful couple in music, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The album completes the trilogy they started with "Lemonade", followed by "4:44".
    Great body of work and the visual for **** is indeed an artistic statement.

The fans rejoiced but jealous corny fans would still call their marriage fake. Then Jay Z released his #1 album "4:44" to confirm about his cheating past and the reconciliation.     Then comes this album. An album where both artists talk about forgiveness and their fantastic achievement with a lot of bangers, mostly integrates trap, reggae, soul, R&B.. This album is a proof that both Beyoncé and Jay Z has been evolving real hard aesthetically & sonically. Beyoncé finally shows off her rapping skill with great flows and Jay shows to the world who's in charge in the family. It is heavily produced and includes some of their best works.

    Even the APES**T video is stunning. Not only filled with extravagant fashion pieces, the video also feature some of the most famous art pieces in the most lavish museum in the world. Talking about promoting art to the next level.

    As for the haters:
    - Is it forbidden for two of the most successful & powerful black artists to talk about their amazing achievement?
    - Is it forbidden for B to release an album days after your favorite released a flop album which will only scan aluminum?
    - Stop saying "I miss the old Beyoncé" because, unlike your favorite, she is evolving. She's been releasing 6 different albums.

    On paper "Everything is Love" should be an animal of a pop record with 2 of pop music's most prominent and in terms of material, satisfying, stars coming together. When these two collaborated on "Crazy in Love" the world of the Carter couple was very different, as was the world in general. This album couldn't be further from that time which made the record that bit more interesting. This album couldn't be further from that time which made the record that bit more interesting. Opener "SUMMER" starts extremely promising, Beyonce's smokey vocals broken up by a few bars from Jay Z. Nice orchestration, nice R&B groove and would be a great intro track if it was trimmed by a few minutes. **** follows, again, not necessarily a bad track, some good synth loops and beats that Jay Z does a good job on but fails to catch fire. "BOSS" is the first top tune with both artists making meaningful contributions to what makes the track good. "NICE" is a bit experimental, slight glitch pop feel to it with a grating howling dog loop and lyrically it's a bit all of the place and sounds like it was done in 5 minutes. I'm not sure if The Carters gave Dr Dre a bell to ask for permission to rip him off on "713". It's a very good track but all I can hear is the sound of the doctor. "FRIENDS" slows down the pace, a Beyonce driven track which lights up the tail end of the record. "HEARD ABOUT US" follows nicely, again primarily driven by Beyonce. "BLACK EFFECT" has some excellent sample work and builds nicely to Jay Z taking the track home. "LOVEHAPPY" is an upbeat and fitting end to a fine album.
    The second half of the album sees a more creative freedom to proceedings with the opening half more focused on the commercial side of it. I'd have liked if the Carters had be bold enough to release a whole album in the vein of side 2. A very good record from 2 great artists that could have been even better.    … Expand

    I bought it because Beyonce but in all honesty Im really not a fan of the album at all. Some decent tracks but overall its a very Urban heavy record with some songs I just don't really care for.

I understand that they're on this sort of high society arthouse type vibe, but that can drive away a good chunk of listeners who don't have half a billion dollars to relate with. Supply vs. demand. As much as HOV is a legend, the supply is outweighing demand for his music. Now, as for Beyoncé, I find it real annoying that as established as she is; and given her calibre; that she,First and foremost, we did not need any new music from Jay-Z in 2018.     Such a dissappintment. it's jsut so shallow and vapid, and it feels so hollow considering that Beyonce's work 2011-2016 was all about proving that she was a legitimate artist. Here it's just her and Jay-Z flaunting their wealth, but when none of your fans are worth a billion dollars, it's hard to connect.

    Ouvi o álbum inteiro e não consegui definir uma música preferida. Esse álbum é a confirmação da qualidade e genialidade de dois artistas incríveis consolidando uma era que vem desde a OTR e os seus respectivos álbuns. Agora, na segunda turnê em conjuntos, podemos ver a mensagem de luta, empoderamento da arte negra na musica em todos os aspectos que eles queriam passar.

They are a successful, wealthy, powerful African-American couple that don't need to conform to or obey anyone that suppress and ignore black people's race and culture. They also told how they overcame obstacles in theirThis album is not a "just flaunting their wealth". It's a narration of Beyonce and Jay Z life story, with all the ups-and-downs. They tell it like it is, no sugarcoating. They are a successful, wealthy, powerful African-American couple that don't need to conform to or obey anyone that suppress and ignore black people's race and culture. They also told how they overcame obstacles in their life and came out (in my assumption) happier. Broken family because of infidelity, bad friends and influences become whole again.

    Like many others, I was surprised when this album dropped out of nowhere. I have been listening to the album quite often since its release and I really enjoy it. As of right now, my top 3 tracks are APES**T, Boss, and Friends.

    Out of her albums, this one is the most mature, yet it had a fresh tune to it, with trap music influence, it benefits her and jay z, she dropped the album without promotion, and exclusively for premium Spotify, and I think she reached a point where the streams and sells don't matter that much for her, my favs are summer and boss.

    I was really surprised by how much Beyonce leaned into rap on this release. I wasn’t sure if I would like it as a full album but I ended up really enjoying this era. Standouts are the propulsive **** lyrically relatable Friends and Nice.

    I've always been amazed by Beyoncé's music and stage presence. I was expecting good and deep music with this album and I'm glad that's what we got. Lemonade will still be my number 1 but Everything Is Love by The Carters is a new chapter with a lot of potential. Keep shining Queen.

    I love it. Sonically it is more hip hop than Beyonce has ever been, but I love her versatility. She is arguable the most versatile artist of this generation. Jay was really great as well. They compliment each other well.

    A carefully crafted masterpiece. Thematic elements of love and self-reflection were intricately woven into the songs and a listen from start to finish was a beautiful journey. EIL is a stunning piece of art.

    This album was one of the best I've heard this year, I absolutely LOVE it! Summer and Apesh*t is always on repeat. The Carters definitely shows who's Boss.

    20+ Years in the industry and still redefining themselves. Keeping in mind this is a JOINT project i dont know what else a listener could ask for. They deserve all of the success they've had up to this point and if this album is any indication of the future neither of them will be going anywhere anytime soon !!!

    This album is amazing. Every song has its story. Talking about her marriage and how they working through it because love prevails at the end.
    My favorite songs off this incredible album are BOSS, FRIENDS and of course APES**T.

    Quality music, Im giving this a 10 because each song is such a joy to listen to, and the title track apesh*t is addictive and splendid. I cannot stop listening to it. I recommend for others to check it out

    Thanks to the trending topics in twitter yesterday i was able to discover the new album was out, and i wasn't surprised at all to hear and realize it was a masterpiece. They aren't flaunting their wealth but talking about their life and success, and i hope everyone gives it a chance. That said, BOSS is my favorite track

    Everything is Love is stellar album which knocks its job as the conclusion of a trilogy out of the park. It's a celebration of the love, and all they have overcome both as a couple, family and individuals. I love how they unapologetically hype themselves, as they deserve, no false modesty and no punches pulled.     The only word I want to use to describe this album is: masterpiece. The way Beyoncé and Jay-Z worked out their personal life and showed us their growth is just beautiful. They definitely took trap music to another level with amazing beats and great bars. It's for the culture and I'm living!
    I listened to this album for the BTSxARMY collab but I genuinely fell in love with it.

    a good music. It's been a while i didnt listen to beyoncé's songs. The mv showing the arts which have a meaning behind of it. may not beyhive expectation, but it surely is good.

    I love the songs on Everything is Love my favorites being Apes**t, Summer, Friends and Boss. Love the different sounds and musical influences every song has. Beyonce proves once again that she is a true artist. The album itself is a work of art. Beyonce and Jay Z should be proud.

    Every single track off the album is carefully crafted in both tune & production. Every track gives off a different vibe that takes you through a hip hop/ RnB dream and after listening to it once you can’t help but listen to it again and again. This album deserves a listen from everyone because it honestly is THAT amazing!

    I'm loving that this album is from a power couple, a black power couple. EIL show's the struggles of love; the good times, the bad times, the heartache but in the end Everything Is Love. BTW, Black Effect is it!!

    As an album it’s almost entirely soporifically dull though beautifully appointed throughout (and it’s a joy to hear Beyoncé rapping) by some smart production from both main protagonists and some slick grooves from the Daptone band. [Aug 2018, p.68]

    It's also a sonic master class in marital counseling and commitment, wherein Beyoncé emerges with the upper hand and a contrite Jay is lucky she's so gracious. Vocally, it's a similar story: Beyoncé shines here, balancing light rap verses ("Apeshit" and "Nice") with some of the prettiest vocals she's recorded in years ("Friends"), while Jay offers his standard braggadocious bars that nonetheless make an impact for their occasional honesty and humility.
