Beyonce and Jay-Z take pop, R&B, and rap for a spin on "EVERYTHING IS LOVE" and the result is a jolt of energy and artistry. Whether it be the smooth and warm breeziness of "SUMMER", or the fun and excitement in **** or the extraordinary groove and intellect of "LOVEHAPPY", "EVERYTHING IS LOVE" sees the musical power couple at their best and brightest.

The fact that Beyoncé and JayZ are making bop after bop and the children are sleeping on them makes me angry. I think this album has the concept, the production, the lyrics and the vocals we all expected from these two incredible artists, yet they were slept on.

Beyoncé and JAY Z come together for their first collaboration album under the surname of The Carters. I enjoyed hearing both artists on this album, but I felt like some tracks felt more like Bey's or just JAY Z's instead of a collaboration on each track. I also wanted a bit more production wise and I felt like some production was stuff we had heard on Bey's last two albums. Nevertheless, it was a nice collaborative project and I look forward to seeing what Bey has for her next project.

Perfect album! All the lyrics, the melodies, the vocals, the meeting of the voices of Jay Z and Beyoncé were beautiful and in harmony! It's an album that is way ahead of that time! Totally flawless!

What is this? Why?Why? Why is Beyoncé forcing me to listen to Jayz? Seriously woman, get a solo carreer for once. Absolutely no one, I said, no one! wants to see you with him. I'm giving one point for the beauty of the **** music video. The rest is ear-bleeding material.

A perfect ending to the era that is Lemonade and 4:44. A masterpiece. We hear a carefree Beyoncé and Jay get everything that they want off their chest. They have told each of their stories and now are back to tell us through all of it they are still happy in love. A timeless classic will age like WINE.

I bought it because Beyonce but in all honesty Im really not a fan of the album at all. Some decent tracks but overall its a very Urban heavy record with some songs I just don't really care for.

On paper "Everything is Love" should be an animal of a pop record with 2 of pop music's most prominent and in terms of material, satisfying, stars coming together. When these two collaborated on "Crazy in Love" the world of the Carter couple was very different, as was the world in general. This album couldn't be further from that time which made the record that bit more interesting. When these two collaborated on "Crazy in Love" the world of the Carter couple was very different, as was the world in general. This album couldn't be further from that time which made the record that bit more interesting. Opener "SUMMER" starts extremely promising, Beyonce's smokey vocals broken up by a few bars from Jay Z. Nice orchestration, nice R&B groove and would be a great intro track if it was trimmed by a few minutes. **** follows, again, not necessarily a bad track, some good synth loops and beats that Jay Z does a good job on but fails to catch fire. "BOSS" is the first top tune with both artists making meaningful contributions to what makes the track good. "NICE" is a bit experimental, slight glitch pop feel to it with a grating howling dog loop and lyrically it's a bit all of the place and sounds like it was done in 5 minutes. I'm not sure if The Carters gave Dr Dre a bell to ask for permission to rip him off on "713". It's a very good track but all I can hear is the sound of the doctor. "FRIENDS" slows down the pace, a Beyonce driven track which lights up the tail end of the record. "HEARD ABOUT US" follows nicely, again primarily driven by Beyonce. "BLACK EFFECT" has some excellent sample work and builds nicely to Jay Z taking the track home. "LOVEHAPPY" is an upbeat and fitting end to a fine album.
The second half of the album sees a more creative freedom to proceedings with the opening half more focused on the commercial side of it. I'd have liked if the Carters had be bold enough to release a whole album in the vein of side 2. A very good record from 2 great artists that could have been even better.

Feels like the Lion King of 2018 hip-hop. Although Beyonce **** Jay, the album is balanced, personal, sophisticated and artistically delightful.

Este álbum muito bom produzido pela grande Beyoncé e pelo talentoso Jay-Z mostra-nos músicas tocantes e com sonoridades incríveis. Não há "fillers" aqui e tudo está bem. Destaques para "SUMMER", "BOSS" e, finalmente, "HEARD ABOUT US".

Such a dissappintment. it's jsut so shallow and vapid, and it feels so hollow considering that Beyonce's work 2011-2016 was all about proving that she was a legitimate artist. Here it's just her and Jay-Z flaunting their wealth, but when none of your fans are worth a billion dollars, it's hard to connect.

What happened to the "4" Beyoncé?? This record is extremely forgettable, incoherent and clearly seems to be aiming for the charts. The trap influence is also very bugging. Even "Lemonade" was better than this mess. The lyricism is also extremely effortless and only remarks their obsession with their wealth.

The haters seemed still not having it as they called it "a fake marketing campaign".

Then comes this album. An album where both artists talk about forgiveness and their fantastic achievement with a lot of bangers, mostly integrates trap, reggae, soul, R&B.. This album is a proof that both Beyoncé and Jay Z has been evolving real hard aesthetically & sonically. Beyoncé finally shows off her rapping skill with great flows and Jay shows to the world who's in charge in the family. It is heavily produced and includes some of their best works.

Even the APES**T video is stunning. Not only filled with extravagant fashion pieces, the video also feature some of the most famous art pieces in the most lavish museum in the world. Talking about promoting art to the next level.

    As for the haters:
    - Is it forbidden for two of the most successful & powerful black artists to talk about their amazing achievement?
    - Is it forbidden for B to release an album days after your favorite released a flop album which will only scan aluminum?
    - Stop saying "I miss the old Beyoncé" because, unlike your favorite, she is evolving. She's been releasing 6 different albums.

Best Cuts: Summer, Friends, APES**T Nice & Boss.

Everything Is Love is the perfect ending to the Carter trilogy: the first two pieces being Lemonade and 4:44. Several genres are explored in each tracks, and both Bey and Jay bring their best to their newest masterwork. Favourite tracks: SUMMER, APESH*T, NICE, FRIENDS

There are many things that Jay and Beyoncé addressed on their album, from the Black Lives Matter movement, their marriage, friendships, and each and every song spoke honestly, every track was produced with the most impeccable detail and despite only being 9 songs long, it has marked a huge milestone, not only in both their careers, both their lives, in their fans lives, but I believe inThere are many things that Jay and Beyoncé addressed on their album, from the Black Lives Matter movement, their marriage, friendships, and each and every song spoke honestly, every track was produced with the most impeccable detail and despite only being 9 songs long, it has marked a huge milestone, not only in both their careers, both their lives, in their fans lives, but I believe in music. When you think after everything that happened, and all that conversation around the world, on social media, in the press etc. this is the type of response they had to give, and in true Bey and Jay style, it was classy, it was professional and it was just so lovely to enjoy.

This album for me, and I’m sure fans will agree, really is one of those that are in a league of it’s own. It’s fresh, and just has such a vibe to it that is so distinctive but also, suits to Beyoncé and Jay. The joint album couldn’t have gone better and it really is a joy to listen to.

As an album it’s almost entirely soporifically dull though beautifully appointed throughout (and it’s a joy to hear Beyoncé rapping) by some smart production from both main protagonists and some slick grooves from the Daptone band. [Aug 2018, p.68]

It's also a sonic master class in marital counseling and commitment, wherein Beyoncé emerges with the upper hand and a contrite Jay is lucky she's so gracious. Vocally, it's a similar story: Beyoncé shines here, balancing light rap verses ("Apeshit" and "Nice") with some of the prettiest vocals she's recorded in years ("Friends"), while Jay offers his standard braggadocious bars that nonetheless make an impact for their occasional honesty and humility.

There’s a sense of immediacy and even unpredictability in the most restless moments on Everything In Love, which saves the album from being a rather static and defiant contemplation of The Carters’ victories.
