    This is pop experimentation at its finest. Just love the sexy sound of "Everything he needs" and the catchy beats of "Right words wrong time".

    This album is way better than Emotion which is solid but has lots of fillers and is a bit generic. She's been more mature. The whole disco vintage vibe and theme is pretty enjoyable overall. The production is very special and insane. Still, there're several awkward moments. This album may not produce any hit single, but it's a fun journey as a whole.

    This album conveys incredible nostalgia. We know what Carly can do with silly, innocent and careless vocals in not-so-innocent compositions. In the end, you discover that your songs are unique and can not be compared to any other artist in that industry.

    Carly Rae Jepsen teria sido uma grande cantora se tivesse pego todas as oportunidades que teve em seu início de carreira. Apesar disso, ela trouxe um álbum pop excelente que merece estar nos ouvidos de muitos. Músicas como Feels Right e Too Much são extremamente dançantes e ótimas de se ouvir. Esse álbum merece ter a devida divulgação. Escutem Dedicated!!

    A magnificent piece of pop music, with mixed influences, but still personal and cohesive. I don't know if it will top Emotion (or the even more incredible Side B), but for sure we are in for a great comeback.

    Even though any of these songs didnt beat my all time fav CRJ songs which is CTTF, All That and RAWM, listening to this whole album makes me believe that CRJ can really do quality songs and a cohesive album.

    Hands down this is the Album of the Year! Carly once again prove us all that pop music is still alive and very alive with "Dedicated", her forth LP which believe it or not is just as good as her 2015 pop masterpiece "E-MO-TION", which shows not only her consistency as a musician but also her integrity as an artist in general terms, not willing to give up on the hip-hop/rap trend and theHands down this is the Album of the Year! Carly once again prove us all that pop music is still alive and very alive with "Dedicated", her forth LP which believe it or not is just as good as her 2015 pop masterpiece "E-MO-TION", which shows not only her consistency as a musician but also her integrity as an artist in general terms, not willing to give up on the hip-hop/rap trend and the incalculable featuring acts that many records include nowadays, instead she keeps it simple and solo (the exception to this being "Feels Right) and maintaining her music persona intact. Highlights: Real Love, Julien and Now That i Found You (honorable mention to "For Sure" for being the most experimental track)… Expand

    I love so much the way Carly do her albums. She always shows us and rubs on our faces how well she knows how to make pop music. Good pop music. She is the definition of underrated! she should be appreciated and honored for this work and for continuing to be active trying to show that she is a talented and incredible artist! With her 3rd major-label release (fourth, in total), Ms Jepsen is here to remind us that she still is at the top of her game.Following her critically-acclaimed 2015 album, "EMOTION", and the compilation of its left-overs "EMOTION: Side B", which was the perfect soundtrack to summer 2016, Carly Rae Jepsen made a name for herself as a genius pop mastermind, and even got a cult-following. With her 3rd major-label release (fourth, in total), Ms Jepsen is here to remind us that she still is at the top of her game.

    "Dedicated" is a great pop record, made up of pop songs that serve substance. The production all through-out the 15-songs effort is exceptional: 'Julien' is a funky disco jam, while 'Feels Right', featuring Electric Guitar, has that summer-y dance-y feel to it. Jepsen's lyricism has shifted to be more about being in love and being happy, while there are still songs that deal with heartbreak (a very prominent theme on "EMOTION"); 'Right Words Wrong Time' for instance is a sad song in which Carly expressed her disappointment in an ex.

    The use of vocoder and vocal distortions goes so well for Jepsen; an example is the line 'I got everything he needs', in the middle of the very catchy chorus of the excellent 'Everything He Needs', or the chorus of 'The Sound', which uses some light-vocoding after having one of Carly's most vulnerable and soft vocal performances on the verses. A lot of others songs on this album are just so well-done: 'Want You in Room', which typically sounds like something Jack Antonoff would produce, will have you jumping and dancing around, 'Real Love' is a great statement about being willing to wait for true love, that also serves as a great closer to the standard edition of the album. However, the biggest highlight remains 'Automatically in Love', a song that is so rich with lyrics, with production, with vocals, with attitude, with happiness and dreaminess.

    Jepsen's strength remains in her versatility: she didn't make another record like "EMOTION"; she went out and experimented and came up with fresh ideas. And while its second half is richer than its first, "Dedicated" is a spectacular pop record about love, happiness, and loss, and it confirms that Carly Rae Jepsen's genius isn't going anywhere anytime soon.    … Expand

    The writing on this album is some of Jepsen’s best work and her commitment to her craft is undeniable. The album does suffer from some over/under production in places but not enough to deter heavy rotation.

    Carly is totally legendary doing pop music! She construct an unique Way to run good music, and here this is really clear. Party for one have a Clever lyrics (pay attention and You will smille and feel inspired), and Too much its incrediable! Pop fans needs this cd!

    That is a brilliant comeback . The pop style of Carly Rae Jepsen is so pure and comfortable. The rhythms are very creative and relaxing . Best songs are Julien and Real love

The record is more mature than Emotion but has fewer breakout moments. The relaxed vibe does not mean that its simplistic in its approach to production. Its glossy disco 70s vibe suits her voiceSOLID. Super cohesive and the range she explores is extensive.     There could be an argument that a couple of edits to make the track listing shorter would have resulted in an even more effective album. However, this is easily one of the best pop albums of the year as it is: one that’s unlikely to be bettered unless a certain Ms Swift really pulls it out of the bag.

    Dedicated isn’t a perfect album--it’s overlong and occasionally concedes too much to chart tastes to be interesting. But by the time Jepsen takes a bow following bonus track “Party For One,” you’re reminded once again of her generosity, of all the space she’s cleared for strength and weakness, for personal epiphanies and communal release.
