    This album is completely different for what she did in the past, 4 years waiting were worthy completely. we can finally see what she’s capable to do when she have full control over her art. i’m so proud.

    Best album of his career, all the songs portray what Demi lived / lives without seeming forced and the sound is without a doubt much superior to the old albums. Note: The transition of the album with Intro was surprising, whoever expected another song with a sad tone was caught by the beat of The Art Of Starting Over.     O melhor álbum da nossa moreninha. Fiquei tão chocado e ao mesmo tempo orgulhoso dela ter contado a sua verdadeira história e a sua luta. Não consigo entender como alguém pode fazer mal a ela, mas foi muito gratificante assistir o clipe de Dancing with the devil e depois ir ouvindo o álbum porque realmente mostra que ela está tentando deixar tudo isso para trás. Enfim, só sei sentirO melhor álbum da nossa moreninha. Fiquei tão chocado e ao mesmo tempo orgulhoso dela ter contado a sua verdadeira história e a sua luta.     O álbum, que tem um nome maior que a profundidade do mesmo, de início nos faz questionar algo que sempre é uma dúvida na carreira de Lovato: quando é que essa mulher vai sacodir a poeira e parar de fazer música sobre superação? É como se ela tivesse prazer em ter alguma narrativa triste para fazer música. Aqui as coisas são tão óbvias e previsíveis que em certos momentos conseguimosO álbum, que tem um nome maior que a profundidade do mesmo, de início nos faz questionar algo que sempre é uma dúvida na carreira de Lovato: quando é que essa mulher vai sacodir a poeira e parar de fazer música sobre superação? É como se ela tivesse prazer em ter alguma narrativa triste para fazer música. Aqui as coisas são tão óbvias e previsíveis que em certos momentos conseguimos adivinhar exatamente do que vai se tratar a música mesmo antes de ouvi-la. Falta identidade neste trabalho, falta proeza, sagacidade e vontade de sair do mesmo. Ao contrário de suas ex-colegas da disney (que também não vem entregando obras de arte), Lovato se mantém em uma narrativa chata e constante, dando a entender que ela é mais perseguida que Jesus foi na terra. Com isso podemos concluir que Demi se inspirou no conceito do recente álbum de Selena Gomez (isso não é um elogio), pois são raros os momentos em que apareça algo bom nesse emaranhado de bombas.… Expand

    Esse álbum é MUITO diferente de tudo que a Demi fez, é maduro e foge totalmente do que eu esperava que seria, foge totalmente do Tell Me You Love Me, é um pop hipster com influência alternativa. Vale muito a pena escutar principalmente quem não gostava dos trabalhos antigos dela, porque foge muito deles.

    The opening three tracks are almost an EP in their own right, before a quick reset. Semi title track ‘The Art Of Starting Over’ begins anew, a straight forward bop that gets to the root of Demi’s recovery – her natural talent, her ear for pop magic, affording room for personal renewal.
