Nov 13, 2021This album is a little bit underwhelming and boring. The songs are incohesive also.
-
Aug 21, 2022Aburrídisimo.
-
Jul 22, 2021This album begins with the grating track "Anyone", which sets the tone for the rest of the album: if you don't like it, you're not going to like the rest of it either.

Apr 2, 2021Here comes Demi again trying her best. But she fails again. I get it she’s been through some tough times we all have but her milking this overdoes is sick. The only song on this album worth a listen is the one with Ariana and even that one is so repetitive. Noah Cyrus sounds good on her feature but still trash.
-
Apr 2, 2021I liked the collabs on this album. However, her solo songs are weak sonically and the album sounds lost and not cohesive. I hope she learns from this album and grows artistically as she is a talented vocalist.
-
Apr 2, 2021lyrically well done but lacks variety as the majority of the tracks sound very similar and recall the same story over and over again.
-
Apr 4, 2021Demi's work follows a vicious cycle. How can you sell an intimate and personal job with 13 producers doing her job?And none of the songs were written entirely by her. It is poor, desperate and disheartening to hear a scream
-
Apr 2, 2021Mixing intimate ballads with upbeat club tracks, Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over is the perfect contemporary pop artefact.
-
Apr 2, 2021Lyrically brilliant. Sonically boring. Not an album I would listen to more than once. Wish her the best though.

Apr 2, 2021this after tmylm is very disappointing, i expected much more srry demi but you know
-
Apr 10, 2021such a trash album positions is so much better. so boring redundant and basic.
-
Apr 2, 2021Basic lyrics and generic songs with a little bit of decent production to cover up the mess. It feels like I’m listening to a slightly more mature Disney Channel movie soundtrack. Nothing groundbreaking or daring, like it always is with miss Lovato.
-
Apr 9, 2021That was awful I am sorry for her ,her voice isn’t good at all
-
Apr 9, 2021someone has to warn her that no one can take more overcoming songs. this album is boring and no one cares
-
-
Aug 23, 2022bunch of noise, blame her for the decadency of music, please quit and make a favor to the industry
-
Aug 23, 2022The opening three tracks are almost an EP in their own right, before a quick reset. Semi title track ‘The Art Of Starting Over’ begins anew, a straight forward bop that gets to the root of Demi’s recovery – her natural talent, her ear for pop magic, affording room for personal renewal.
-
Aug 23, 2022Wow! Lovato transcends his pain and bad habits from the past in happy and well-produced songs. Transforming pain into pure art. The art of starting over, starting over as an artist and finally finding the best of herself. Very proud of this album. Totally outside the comfort zone,

-
Aug 23, 2022One of her very best albuns, imo. The sound is very different from her previous works which surprised me in the best way possible! So glad she's sharing her story with us once again!
-
-
Apr 2, 2021This is an absolute masterpiece and I am absolutely in love with it! She completely snapped!
-
Apr 3, 2021Lovato has truly overstayed her welcome, at least in terms of putting out albums that move you. The vim and vigor which so characterized her early work is largely absent. It almost feels as if she's going through the motions - it's corporatized. I wish she's returned to that stripped down, essentially progression that she used to write in her early days.
-
Apr 8, 2021really generic lyrics over really tired and generic production, this kind of gives me a cringe feeling the lyrics are so poor.
-
Apr 3, 2021Unfortunately, there's nothing new here. Even though the whole behind this album, Demi still releases the same songs.
-
Nov 20, 2021dancing with the devil... the art of starting over was the album I listened to the most this year. I still listen to a lot of it every day, it's such a good and complete album, demi lovato's best work so far. I'm proud to be a fan of someone as talented as demi is musically.
-
Apr 7, 2021How did she go from the excellence of TMYLM to... something so underwhelming? I really wanted to like this but I'm disappointed. Besides MHLN, which is a masterpiece, everything is lacklustre. TMYLM > HWGA > Unbroken > DWTD > Demi > Don't Forget

Apr 15, 2021Lovato's frankness is disarming, forcing a listener to reckon with the depths of the singer's distinction, yet the album works best when it veers toward lighter territory, letting the slick R&B rhythms and sugared hooks carry Lovato's emoting.
-
Apr 8, 2021Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over is Demi Lovato like we have never heard before. She is sassy and carefree while serious about her identity and personhood in a way she has been itching to be for years.
