Eu amo muito algumas tracks porém outras além de não ser memoráveis, soam muito parecidas umas com as outras...

There is a haunting quality to many of the tracks that hark back to the track Seven Devils. At times it can feel gimmicky or as if she is trying to convince us of a certain narrative for herself - as if she is playing a character. It seems that Florence took much more artistic liberty and sought to experiment with different sounds and techniques. Although there is a wider range of flavour here some of it works and some doesn't, and overall it does not sound as intricate, perfected or sure of itself as her prior records. All in all this is a solid contribution by Florence + The Machine but does not quite hold up to the first three albums in my opinion. Expand

This is an awesome album, and would be my pick for best of 2022. It's fun, angry, sarcastic, sad, and everything in between. During a time in which many people have lacked social interaction, this album offers a number of fun, heart pumping dance tracks that --much as the album title suggests-- are impossible to not dance to. At the same time, it offers some deeper tracks that examine themes such as womanhood, unwanted attention/obsession, and one's internal struggle between desiring to be loved while also fearing being in and being loved. Dance Fever accomplishes all of this while remaining very cohesive as an album and offering tons of relistening value.

So good, and easily one of F+TM's best.

This is Flo and Co best work so far. Every single track feels like a detail of a very massive art piece and you can't enjoy the full experience without it being there. Even the Deluxe versions and the remixes fell like a part if the journey, only complimenting to the sentiment of what the ginger witch and her coven wanted to get through.

If in years, this album isn’t looked upon as historic, I will be mind blown, as, genuinely, this is one of the greatest albums of the 2020’s so far, maybe of the 2000s and maybe even, one of the greatest albums of all time. “Dance Fever” shows the world that Florence + The Machine is one of the best bands of all time, and maybe now this album’s out, when I say that they are, I’ll get agreement instead of looks of confusion." Florence never disappoints. As I said, it took me years to get into her music, even bought Ceremonials and How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful; for this one I had high expectations. And as usual, never disappointed with Florence. My ultimate favourite: My Love.

**** it, Florence + The Machine. I knew this album was going to surprise me, as the band always does, but I didn't think the change would be extreme. They have provided an impeccable job in multiple points: musical composition, lyrical composition, production, performance, aesthetic, etc. There is an arduous effort to overcome artistically, even if they are modest, moreover, so that**** it, Florence + The Machine. The Dance Fever it's s celebration of life, earth and nature. Florence shows others way of dancing. You can feel the ethereal aurea surrounded by mystery. She's vibrating high and it's beautiful, spirituous and inspiring.

No Machine=no passion. Florence's voice sounds tired and pale. And I thought High As Hope is a bad album....

I'm obsessed with this album. At first it sounded a little strange but I'm deeply connected with it now. The only caveat was the short ones (Prayer Factory and Restraint) but the set of work is WONDERFUL, TERRIFIC, STUNNING, AMAZING. It totally worth the 4 years waiting. Florence is such a great musician and the band always does a neat job. I cannot be grateful enough.

The best Florence and the Machine album to date: encapsulating all the things that made them unique from previous albums (the frantic energy of Lungs, the grandeur of Ceremonials, the vulnerability and aggression of How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful and the intimacy and lyricism of High as Hope), but with a newfound maturity in terms of vocal performance, contents and overall arrangements. This is a masterfully crafted albums, at a new high of inspiration, curated in each detail to create a masterpiece for our frantic, dark times: standout tracks are King, Free, Cassandra, Choreomania, Morning Elvis and Dream Girl Evil - but the whole album, with not a single filler, is an explosion of catharsis and creativity, greatness and poetry like only Florence Welch can create. It's no surprise that an artist like Florence to be able to outdo herself release -after-release. Dance Fever is one of her most authentic album to date. I am not afraid to put this side-by-side the magnum opus How Big How Blue How Beautiful.
Highlights from the project: King, Choreomania, My Love, Restraint, The Bomb, Morning Elvis, Daffodil & Back In Town

I'm a long time Florence + The Machine fan. It took me a couple of listens, but I am now hooked on each and every song. The album is a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish. This is the most raw and powerful album the band have released so far. Every song is a masterpiece in its own right.
    My top songs are
    King
    Dream Girl Evil
    Cassandra
    Back in Town
    Daffodil

it's a magical album, it's new, but it maintains an essence already existing in previous albums, it brings to a large extent meaningful and comprehensive elements. I missed hearing something like this, is it strange to say that it's new and somehow brings nostalgia? Dance Fever definitely made it into my top 3 albums of 2022.

Florence and the Machine return with the euphoric, yet somber and dark 'Dance Fever'. With shakespearian glamour Welch sings about ageing, domesticity and female horror in the most exquisite way.

Welch's powerful vocals shine on this record through anthemic synthpop, baroque pop and folk balladry, as the band experiment with new textures, aligning with the inspiration drawn from the Pre-Raphaelite tradition of embracing contrast within art.

Dance Fever sounds like Welch’s most conceptual album yet, but in a fashion that allows the most catharsis her work has conjured since “Shake It Out”. Although much more theatrical than the honest but somehow boring High as Hope, this record asks its listener to sit a bit with the noise in our heads that might usually make us so uncomfortable.
