Yoongi reveals is soul to us with this album. For someone that admits to having a hard time showing his feelings, he really put everything into D-Day. I love every single track, but "Snooze" featuring WOOSUNG and the late Ryuichi Sakamoto is so beautiful.

No skip. DDay is a journey, not an album. Plein sun or heavy clouds, morning dew or midday heat, storm or the calmess of the afternoon, Suga’s road is simply amazing. Can’t describe every song because these songs are not for listening, these songs are made to be feel and to feed with every cell of my heart and every vibe of my soul.

Suga uses his musicality and emotions that he has used in previous Agust D mixtapes and also sheds the moniker to reveal his true reflections of life as Min Yoongi. An ode to this was the ending of the album by giving advice to younger people who are about to endure their 20s as he leaves his. With features of strong vocalists such as IU and Woosung who compliment Agust D’s rap, he develops songs that are comforting to the listener’s ear. Collaborating with fellow band mate of BTS (j-hope) he shares a song that channels the energy of typical BTS rapline songs. Finally to mention the late Ryuichi Sakamoto’s feature in which he delivers a beautiful composition of an instrumental to one of the songs, Agust D was grateful to have this collaboration as a fan of him. Overall, the album presents a journey of music to close a chapter of Agust D…for now Expand

The evolution and growth musically as well as personally was very evident. I am so proud of Yoongi for having the courage to reveal parts of himself that so many people didn’t know exist. Once you let go of any biases, you'll realize there's a treasure trove of incredible albums out there. AGUST D, an intriguing artist, has just dropped another gem that belongs to that league. While the majority of the lyrics are in Korean, this album falls under the hip-hop genre rather than K-pop. I highly recommend giving it a spin. Expand

This is a vulnerable and deep album, check the lyrics and the music videos to get the full experience. Very cohesive, this is the third installment and last part of the trilogy for Agust D.

The story he set out to tell ends up linear and cohesive, remarkably so, even for people who don’t speak Korean and experience the album first solely as a sonic journey. ... This collection is a body of work people will turn to for years to come.
