By far Lady Gaga's most cohesive album of her career yet. And arguably the millennium's first real proper synthesis of everything that made the pop genre the most dominant form of music in the world for decades.

The transitions between Chromatica I - Alice and Chromatica II - 911 feels like out of this world. The album is literally transferring you to a new world, galaxy, planet, dimension aka Chromatica. If you like pop, disco, dance kind of music this is definitely your album... just amazing I have no words to describe how much I love this. Lady Gaga did it again, she amazed me again with her ART, don’t forget that her ART could mean anything! She is an Enigma. Chromatica.! Expand

Amazing pop record. After ditching the pop sound almost entirely for half a decade, Gaga is back with a vengeance. One of the best albums released this year!

this album is pure genius. the interludes are amazing. the way each song is in perfect harmony with the previous and the following ones blows my mind. the featurings are high quality too.

the tracklist has been really built to tell a story: Gaga's story. as the tracks go by, we understand that she came from a very dark place to a more peaceful and calm mindset thanks to the acceptance of her pain and thanks to love and music too. Gaga gave her Little Monsters what they have always wanted: a dance album without any ballad but there is still a strong message. what i think is the best about Chromatica is the duality of the lyrics that are dark and sad in comparison with the music that makes us wanting to dance like nobody was watching. to me, the album is very powerful. it taught me that we can be hurt, we can be in pain but we have to turn this pain into strength, kindness and love. it taught me that no matter if our life is raining on us, we have to fight, we have to keep dancing and we have to be proud of who we are.

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it. Alice, Replay, Babylon, 911 & Sour Candy my top 5!

The song featuring blackpink was the worst on the album, it lacked chemistry between the group and Gaga. Overall it needs more experimentation.

The nostalgia in the production — a blend of crisp digital synth textures and ringing grooves drawn directly from '90s house music — further bolsters the shadowed euphoria of a song like "Sour Candy," in which Gaga is joined by the K-pop girl group Blackpink; "Sine from Above," featuring Elton John, gets a similar friction from the interplay between their voices.

Infectious, exciting and even a little hedonistic during some of the most confusing of modern times, now’s never been a better time to get lost in this new destination.

Chromatica’s frank grappling with the vagaries of Gaga’s brain – and the way fame exacerbates them – ends up feeling much more real than touring dive bars with a guitar and a Stetson ever did.
