Album full of bangers. Short songs, but full of lyrics. Gaga didn't disappoint us. She delivered masterpiece album of the year!

This is different from anything she have done before. If you wanna really give it a decent review you have to do what any other critic should with any album of hers: take some time, feel free to appreciate and let the production and lyrics grown on you first. This is Lady Gaga, welcome to Chromatica.

This is without a doubt the best album of 2020. Gaga shows her confidence yet vonerble side during this album. We see a side of her that we have never seen before. She really came through with this album and cemented herself as the queen of pop

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Chromatica is an incredibly strong album. Don't let the thumping beats fool you, this album is very personal and explores some of LG's darkest moments. Chromatica truly is about dancing through the pain. The tracks tend to be on the short side, but that's good for us as there are more to enjoy! Highlights include the hauntingly hypnotic Alice, the catchy but devastating 911, and Enigma with its rhythmic chorus. There are also three orchestral interludes in the album, composed by LG herself. Each interlude sets the atmosphere for the next track and allows the listener time to take a quick break in between dancing. There are some classic Gaga tracks on the album; the vulnerable Plastic Doll could fit perfectly into The Fame, whilst Stupid Love sounds like something straight from Born This Way. The album concludes with the empoweringly camp Babylon, ending in a triumphant acapella.

Thank you Lady Gaga, that's the soundtrack to my summer sorted!

Gaga always surprises us with her versatility but for Chromatica, she stayed true to her ultimate dance pop root but adding some glitters of edm and house music, which is somehow refreshing. I would say this is one of the best pop albums this year so far. Give it a listen, you won't regret it!

I’ve been waiting for a Dance Record by Gaga for 7 years and I’m not afraid to say that it was worth it! Some songs gave me ARTPOP and Born This Way vibes and I’m here for it. The Lead single, Stupid Love, is the weakest track on the album for me. I really reccomend listening to the record from start to finish, not on shuffle. My fav tracks are probably 911, Babylon, Free Woman and Alice.

Uno dei suoi miglior album, forse il migliore da tempo immemore. Ha la capacità di farti alzare e ballare anche se non ne avevi voglia. Le canzoni sono complesse nel loro mood dance anni 80/90. Una perla che mancava da allora.

It is her best album in a while. Sine from above, fun tonight, babylon, 1000 doves, replay, plastic doll and 911 show that Gaga is not going anywhere.

The nostalgia in the production — a blend of crisp digital synth textures and ringing grooves drawn directly from '90s house music — further bolsters the shadowed euphoria of a song like "Sour Candy," in which Gaga is joined by the K-pop girl group Blackpink; "Sine from Above," featuring Elton John, gets a similar friction from the interplay between their voices.

Infectious, exciting and even a little hedonistic during some of the most confusing of modern times, now’s never been a better time to get lost in this new destination.

Chromatica’s frank grappling with the vagaries of Gaga’s brain – and the way fame exacerbates them – ends up feeling much more real than touring dive bars with a guitar and a Stetson ever did.
