Well, my review goes beyond the Album because experiences, history and the context matters, those thing brings details and they enrich the artist's work. So Chromatica is the sixth album by Lady Gaga after several years she's returning to dance/pop music properly so we have expectations and of course a little bit of nostalgia. So last night the first time that I hear the new album I was feeling different emotions, and as soon as Chromatica I started I was transported into a portal, a portal that was taking me to Chromatica, and then I heard MY NAME.... ISN'T ALICE, BUT I KEEP LOOKING, KEEP LOOKING FOR WONDERLAND. The beat drops and I couldn't help it, I dance to it. And the hype start to decrease as I got through the released singles. Until Free Women's Turn. It's a song that rises to an electric and emotional, empowering ending. Me a Gay men screaming so hard I'M A FREE WOMAAAAAAAAAAAN!. It was just too much, specially because the song has very strong and meaningful message. Next Chromatica II & 911, the transition OK, A masterpiece. Also 911 is produced by Madeon and I personally think he's one of the most talented and young electronic dance music producers right now. (He previously work on MJH), so I knew what to expect a heavy Synth with a strong bass and lows and catchy electronic voice chop/noise details. But still was more than that, the production quality UGHH, The lyrics and the transitions between the songs parts it's just well made, and very fluid, 911 Catches you instantly. Following this one: Plastic Doll, plastic doll starts with an intro very GagaThefameStarstruck way, it was the perfect followed up for 911. I don't have many impressions for this one, except that it's Pop bubble pop plastic technologic POP. which is perfect for the concept of the song. Then Sour Candy starts to play and (it's funny cause to me was kinda new but not so much cause it got released early this day) So I knew her already but I enjoy it Like it was new... So Blackpink did an amazing Job, they sound so cool and fun (the corean verses were a nice detail), We hear Gaga on her commander's Robotic voice which was a very good contrast against the sweatness by Blackpink). Chromatica II & Sine from above, here's where I think the Climax of the Album happens, a Collaboration between Gaga and a Legend like Elton John couldn't be less than that. (here I will stop and say that we already have seen these two together, many times) BUT not like this... It's a little bit celestial and divine for a few reasons the lyrics, Gaga tells the story of how music has help her since the beginning and how always music always has been the answer and solution to many problems, and how much she has grow up work so passionate to be where she stands right now. Now the production is a MONSTER (another paused, here the ones on charge of this one is Bloodpop, Burns, Axwell, Klahr, and Liohn [these last ones are huge producers on the EDM scene, Axwell belongs to SHM with that I already say it all] So knowing this I was a little afraid of this song sounding Too EDM and a little bit 2013ish. But Nope, I mean yes is a dance record but still fresh and pop and emotional, the sound takes you all the way with the feeling of it and at the end the outro explodes into an orgasm of the instrumental, 90s drums and electronic synths make you kinda feel in a trip.

    Babylon here we are at the end of the record and Gaga want to makes us dance with a track very 90s, Chicago House Pop sound, and this one is to close the Album Voguing the house down until the sun rise up this one is a Radical acceptance of the truth and what's not, Gaga invite us to take life not so serious and wear then chains and each one's truth with pride. Have a ball, enjoy and Battle for your life on the dancefloor.

    In general this album make me dance since the beginning until the very last second of Babylon, I think this album is important for us, pop music, and Gaga, for different reasons, first we needed this, Today we're on the middle of a worldwide pandemic, everyone struggling in their own way, and this record got us 43 of relief. The context is important and I can't help to think how would it be the reception of this album if everything wouldn't be OK. Well I'm pretty sure that would be muchmuch bigger a huge celebration on everywhere's dancefloor. But no and this take us to Pop music let's be honest now in days pop mainstream albums are not successful or enough. and Chromatica came to change this came already as a triumph and a reclaiming of the dance floor for Pop music and last but no least Gaga, this album deserves a 10 because I can see and every Fan that has follow her journey sees it too that this album shows that she is that Legendary Pop star and she owns the dancefloor. But most importantly that she enjoy and making this album made her happy and heal her in many different ways. Can't wait to see what else this era brings.    … Expand

    ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.
    Lady Gaga has been called queen of pop numerous times in her career, with this record I would say she doesn't need a title she's not even fighting for, she's the absolut queen of dance music. This is the best album Lady Gaga has produced in her career, there's not a bad song in it and Bloopop also did a great job.

    Combining the amazing and multi-faceted vocals prowess, witty and impactful + socially relevant songwriting full of double and even triple entrendes + meta-references to her past music, #Chromatica deserves the chart success and Grammy awards it @ladygaga will get. Track-by-track review:

    1. #Chromatica1 is an mix of orchestral and synth sounds - an emotional symphony that ushers us into the ethereal and majestic world/planet of #Chromatica We've heard this before in the Stupid Love MV teaser. 2. #Alice is the perfect opening dance for #Chromatica. Many have used Lewis Carroll's classic character as a metaphor for a journey to maturity by accepting oneself's + everyone's madness one way or another - Lady Gaga channels this ❤️

    3. #StupidLove actually is now my least-liked song in #Chromatica and yet I still ❤️ its 80's throwback + Born This Way vibe that reminded us that Gaga is back! I don't know why but it's sound seems a bit different from everything else. 4. #RainOnMe is still my current fave in #Chromatica. IDK why but the lyrics has so much depth and dimension to it + that awesome earworm beat just makes you wanna dance triumphantly everytime.

    It’s been a while since I got this excited about a release from Lady Gaga and I was not wrong. At first i was not sure how to feel about Chromatica since she chose to release her weakest song on the album, ‘Stupid Love’, as her lead single, but then I got my hopes back up when ‘Rain on Me’ came out. Every single song, from begining to ending has a different kind of light. It’s anIt’s been a while since I got this excited about a release from Lady Gaga and I was not wrong.     One of her most cohesive albums yet! Every song transitions into the next in an etherial way that just makes my soul jump in joy. I'm loving the combination of strong, sad lyrics with dance beats, it just gives it an all around complete experience. Highlights for me Include Alice, Rain on Me, Sour Candy, 911 (The transition between Chromatica II and 911 is celestial) Enigma and Sine From Above.

Chromatica is this world where so many issues are being discussed, i find it honest and true to its artist. Sine from above is a masterpiece, she took every single artist on this record out of their comfort zone, Ariana, Blackpink, and sir Elton john, we've seen a side of them that's so beautiful and fresh. very cohesive album overall, powerful harmonies and astonishing visuals as well as the production that is on point, bloodpop deserves to be praised for this. Every single track is a POP masterpiece. If awards really honor the best of the best, i think this album deserves every single award on the face of the planet for pop vocal music.

    Chromatica is an exceptional album that ties in Gaga’s experiences with love , pain, and struggle as she progressed through her career. While Looking at the lyrics can evoke feelings of nostalgia and melancholy ,you just can’t help to dance and sing to them. Each track is packed with deep lyrics and insane vocals from the wonderful people she has in it’s on this album, and each personChromatica is an exceptional album that ties in Gaga’s experiences with love , pain, and struggle as she progressed through her career.     I can feel the pain Gaga went through writing these songs and thankfully she made them danceable so that everyone who has the same pain will be able to dance and be liberated by it! Love the theme of the album and the concept is also cohesive. Lyrically they are straightforward which is good, sonically there are some parts that you expect a beat break but there are none.     The album was made for the dance floor. Gaga went back to where she never should have left. The songs are a sequential phenomenon to dance and embrace the pain.
