    One of her best albuns, it says a lot about her and everything she went through. The transitions with the instrumentals are perfect, the collaborations with great artists like Elton John, Ariana Grande and BLACKPINK are amazing. The best songs in my opinion are Alice, 911 and Babylon but I recommend you to listen to the whole album first.

    The best album of hers to date, shows a lot of emotion and mental health issues. I really love this album, it makes me feel good with what I feel and how I show my feelings. This is literally the album of the year and it came out in a very special time, at least in my case. Gaga always set the bar for her own, every single time, I just love it.

    What is completely new and different from the previous albums is that this album is linked through three interludes (Chromatica I, II, III). Besides, thanks to 3 melodious music tracks to introduce into the main songs, there were 3 phases for this album. If phase I are catchy dance songs, easy to listen to, suitable for market tastes, then in phase 2 is the test of difficult music lines. The bass, electric guitar clips go straight to the song, samples are borrowed from the songs of other artists and are re-engineered, creating a strange but equally attractive segment. Phase 3 is up-tempo-styled ballads. Ending the song with a tropical house and urban vogue style music is a smart ending.
    The lyrics also have something worth saying. It is more mature and older but still has its own Gaga character. I read Pitchfork's review and saw that they scored 7.3 for this album and complained that the album was too poor of lyrics. Not showing any special meaning or even nothing worth saying. That is completely wrong, because simply because this album alone utters two words "MENTAL ILLNESS", the words are not enough to describe, but the emotions put in are remarkable. Lady Gaga and I both have psychological problems, both of which carry PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). A trauma was too great for us to share the details of what happened to us with others to sympathize with. Because, if we do it, it will recur, we don't want to experience any more frustration, frustration, regret, or torture. The screams or the simple sobs in the songs are enough to describe how the disease itself eats up our minds.    … Expand

    Chromatica brings us a mature Gaga with firmer lyrics. The impeccable production brings the most refined air to songs with strong lyrics. It has some problems of continuity but it does not diminish the impeccable work that Gaga did in returning to the pop genre in such a well structured way.

    It´s always great to see an artist open up to us about his issues/mental health, and turn it into some dance-pop bangerz, and Gaga did it perfectly. The problem is that, with so many songs sounding the same, the whole ideia of the album almost gets lost in the middle. It lacks longetivity.

Los sonidos son muy buenos, variados y alegres, un muy buen dance pop, demostrándolo mejor en Plastic Doll, Sour Candy, Enigma y Replay. Me gusta como se separan los actos por instrumentales y cómo combinan con la siguiente canción, el ejemplo más famoso de esto es Chromatica II y 911. Desde ya, la letra de Alice y su ritmo hace que te quedes, me gustó cómo usó referencias de Alicia en el país de las maravillas. En Stupid Love, la parte de "todo lo que quise fue amor" me gustó cómo lo cantó con emoción y la canción es muy pegajosa. Sour Candy tiene un buen estilo, las voces de BP son muy buenas, pero como también pasó con Elton John, las voces entre ellos no combinan mucho. Realmente me sorprende que sólo con Ariana sí haya hecho una buena combinación. Hablando de Sine From Above, amé cómo se cantan como si estuvieran estuvieran sintiendo el "necesito escuchar el sonido" y el final con batería me gustó, pero al principio sonaba muy eléctrica, un tipo de rock dance !Sorprendente! Fun Tonight, usó referencias de The Fame y Paparazzi, su voz juega muy bien, se muestra la emoción y buena interpretación. Replay me parece una canción bailable pero al mismo tiempo habla de recordar heridas del pasado, Gaga sin duda hizo una muy buena canción, y que el coro se muestro la dualidad de su voz es una muestra del poder que tiene su voz. Babylon tiene un buen ritmo, la letra es arte, me encanta cómo usa sus metáforas y cómo vuelve a sus antiguas eras, metiendo religión, historia, etc en sus canciones. Se nota cómo Gaga mejoró en todo con respecto a la música y pudo buscar una verdadera identidad desde que sacó Born This Way.… Expand

    Amazing. One of Gaga's most cohesive work yet maybe next to Born This Way. I love how the album is divided into sections with the songs following each interlude being of a different theme and telling a different story, narrative and set in a different tone. Chromatica I onwards is full of statements, acknowledging the things thay she loves, the things she believes in, the obstackes sheAmazing. Chromatica I onwards is full of statements, acknowledging the things thay she loves, the things she believes in, the obstackes she faces, and ending with Fun Tonight flows directly into the darker and slightly angrier tone of Chromatica II. Chromatica II onwards speaks about the turth, what she's really thinking and going through. Here she accepts and screams everything she's thinking of at the top of her lungs. Her mental illness with 911 and Replay, objectification of women and misogyny with Plastic Doll and Sour Candy, and her versatility in Enigma. These all flow excellently into the epiphany which is Chromatica III onwards. Here we see Gaga finding comfort in music, and accepting that music can heal her in so many ways possible in Sine From Above. 1000 Doves showcases Gaga in peak sobriety and self-awareness, where she admits her shortcomings and imperfections, and says that she'll keep trying even if she knows she isn't perfect yet. Ending with a clever statement, Babylon talks about gossip and comparisons she has experienced in the music industry, especially with Madonna. In Babylon, she sings the lyrics "That's gossip, what you on? Money don't talk, rip that song, gossip, babble on, battle for your life, babylon." in a Vogue spoken word style, sassily taking a mick out of all the comparisons with her and Madonna.

    All in all it's an amazing album, very cohesive, and perfectly encompasses the genre born from hardship and pain – house music. 10/10.    … Expand

    one of her best projects imo. even though this album contains 3-4 songs that are kinda useless for the album... some of the songs are really interesting and reminds of her past time!

    So gaga and well produced . Full of bops and also feels . Not as strong as her pervious projects but it is its own project and delivers vocally . One of the bests of 2020 for sure .

Por tanto, foi proposital a "não-inovação" em questão sonora, já que Lady Gaga quis acertar no ponto certeiro onde iria agradar a maioria dos fãs que sentiam falta de um Pop dançante. Além de trazer letras fortes e que permitam aos fãs refletirem determinados assuntos.O álbum como um todo possui um objetivo claro e óbvio!     Honestly, I think Chromatica is one of her best albums, right after Joanne, which was an underrated masterpiece.
    Everything is so cohesive, thanks to the transitions. Lady Gaga also gave us memorable vocals, with Sine from Above with sir Elton John and 1000 Doves.
    Without any surprise, collaborations fits really well in the album, a special shout-out to Rain on Me, which is iconic, but    Honestly, I think Chromatica is one of her best albums, right after Joanne, which was an underrated masterpiece.

    Este Álbum me ayudo a enfrentar la pesadilla que vivimos a través del 2020, ha sido un año difícil, pero aprendí a bailar en la distancia, y este álbum tiene un sentimiento hemos. Sinceramente es un álbum con mucha fuerza, 80´s vibras y letras un poco depresivas, pero nos recuerda que a pesar del dolor que tengamos por dentro, siempre habrán momentos para bailar y olvidar los malos ratos.

    By far one of the best albums that came out in 2020. Albums get old and tired. This album, however, will continue with me throughout the years. I have listened to the album throughout 2020 and I have not gotten tired of one song. Congratulations Lady Gaga for making such an amazing album.

    There are about 3 "bad" songs and about 3 excellent ones. The rest are either good or okay. Luckily, there's a song for everyone. The album is extremely clever as well as cohesive. I highly recommend giving it a listen.

    "Chromatica" fue concebido como un álbum digno de ser escuchado de principio a fin. Una obra fuertemente influenciada por el haus, disco y    Lady Gaga logra crear su propio mundo fantástico y colorido en su sexto trabajo discográfico. Un álbum conceptual que en palabras de la propia Gaga la sanó y sirvió como terapia para afrontar algunos traumas personales y problemas de salud mental.

    "Chromatica" fue concebido como un álbum digno de ser escuchado de principio a fin. Una obra fuertemente influenciada por el haus, disco y EDM de los años 90's que se encuentra dividida en tres actos perfectamente diferenciados, cada uno precedido por un interludio que brinda una atmósfera de drama teatral y éxtasis colosal.

    Definitivamente la mezcla de sonidos es el gran acierto de este álbum, la transición entre canciones sucede de una forma muy cohesiva y armónica, "Chromatica II" a "911", y los inesperados cambios de ritmos resultan algo extraños al principio pero logran funcionar bastante bien, "Sine From Above" por mencionar un ejemplo. Por otro lado, la interpretación que Gaga hace de cada una de las canciones es apoteósica, claramente se nota una evolución en el control de su voz que se ve reflejada en el juego de tonos y armonías musicales que emplea, "Enigma" y "1000 Doves".

    En fin, Chromatica es un himno de fiesta, un sueño bailable, una fantasía electrónica-pop que nos recuerda y hace homenaje a la Gaga de sus inicios con trabajos como "The Fame" y "Born This Way".
