It's such a sweet and relaxed album. You just get chilled. This album has production quality at its best and obviously JBs voice is perfection. I love this version of JB. It's so excellent and chill album. I find it better than Purpose and that's saying a lot about this album. 10/10

Imagine being able to get away with making a album with songs that alll sound alike, no variety, no effort and then disrespect the R&B category by calling this R&B. I really think bieber should stick to pop it fits him best.

It had some problem with production due to which all songs sounded same but in this album you witness some great vocal performance

This album is the worst of Justin Bieber's career, and also the worst of popular album! When someone compared this album with Abbey Road, I wondered: Why did he compare talc with quartzite?

Upon hearing Yummy on the radio, i'm like "Justin Bieber's music was bearable and sometimes good", but now after five years away, he doesn't know what to do with his music career and took a generic pop/R&B road so people would listen to it and care about it. If this was 90s house, i'd give him a second chance but i ain't gonna try and listen to this album entirely. "Purpose" was his best album, no debate about that. It was also his only decent album, thanks to a high-budget tidy production. Here the production is mechanical and uninspired. It sound like one song streched for the duration of an album. Bieber's tiresome vocals remain the biggest problem of his music, not even his impressively pathetic lyrics can top that. As the disastrous "Yummy""Purpose" was his best album, no debate about that. It was also his only decent album, thanks to a high-budget tidy production. Here the production is mechanical and uninspired. It sound like one song streched for the duration of an album. Bieber's tiresome vocals remain the biggest problem of his music, not even his impressively pathetic lyrics can top that. As the disastrous "Yummy" might suggest, this album tries to fit in Bieber into the new trend of music, dominated by urban genres, without geting too deep, mixing it with his ultra-mega-cheesy pop-appeal that his 11-year old target loves so much. "Intentions" was the only good song in this sea of mediocrity. "Running Over" gets the second place, even with that Lil Dicky verse (that says enough about the rest of the album).

I mean, it's Justin Beiber. Nobody is surprised that his album is bad. Me neither

This is just a bit rubbish in all honesty. i could accept this drivell if it revolutionised music in any way shape or form. Unfortunatley this ablum, though quirky, is no revolution 9. it's just a lazy cash grab that only fails to enforce the edgy character that kanye trys to push

Ringtones extended into songs. The lead single, ‘Yummy’, has multiple writers in it yet the best they can come up with is, “yeah you got that yum yum yum yum”. With The Weeknd giving one of the best albums in 2020 which was R&B, he really thought he could compete in that category. This man has 0 versatility and has done nothing but profited off of his ex-girlfriend who is doing much, much, much better than this man. This man has never scored above 70 on metacritic. This man is lucky he looks good otherwise his fan base of 13-25 year old girls would’ve dropped him off. It’s high time we move on to another male artist who’s strong artistically and no, not Shawn Mendes. Artists like Conan Gray have so much talent but the GP loves a mediocre white boy who has a discography that seems to fit into one big album that only the ones with whitie tighties would listen to. I can’t believe this is the ‘prince of pop’, better not make him king. Expand

I do not like Justin one bit. Stan twitter said some terrible things about this album so I decided to give it a chance see if it is really as bad as people said and I wish I never listened to it. Just the biggest waste of time. Justin fans are lying to themselves when they say this album is even half decent

While Bieber's voice still sounds like that of a mid- to late-teen, singing seems to come more naturally to him, and his falsetto pleas are neither bitter nor entitled, strictly genuine and adult.

Artists can certainly grow up and mature without losing their edge or creative spark. Changes, however, is ultimately a transitional record that finds Bieber navigating how to reconcile adulthood with pop stardom—and discovering that, at least in his case, this merger is a tricky one.
