From hitmaker to desperate artist, Justin surrendered to a strictly generic style. "Changes" is a boring, monotonous and futile album. The impression is that we are listening to the same song in repeat mode.

    It is unfortunate that we had to hear something    Justin Bieber took five years to make his return to music. And, well, he did! But he did it in the most disappointing way possible. From hitmaker to desperate artist, Justin surrendered to a strictly generic style. "Changes" is a boring, monotonous and futile album. The impression is that we are listening to the same song in repeat mode.

    all the beats on this album are repetitive and lyrics are lame
    i only see downgrade in his artistry heard couple of other artists songs justin stole or let's say inspired by. can't believe i heard an album of 17 same tracks. don't waste your time on this record you guys

    The album is titled Changes but not even the beat changes. Such a huge disappointment that he came from a career-defining era to the worst one.

    All the trap songs sound exactly the same, the lyrical content is redundant, the topics that this album cover are not those of an artist who had been away from spotlight for years. This album failed hard, especially for a seasoned artist like Justin Bieber. Disappointing.

    Justin is trying to make adult music, but his voice does not lend itself to this. The songs are very repetitive, there is no great innovation. the album is not good, although vocally it is heard better.

    The worst album Justin has ever made, looks like a desperate try of showing himself to media, there's no feelings, concept or meaning in the lyrics and melodies. He can do better, anyone can.

    Eu não esperava um álbum perfeito mas imaginava no minimo algo audível, todas as sinfonias parecem ter sido tiradas de um nokia ano 2000, sem contar a voz fraca, o que só auxiliou ainda mais nessa poluição sonora. Francamente, pior album do Justin Bieber.

    I used used to love most of Justin’s discography but this album was a huge let down. There wasn’t a single song that made me want to go back and listen to. It felt unoriginal, monotonous and shallow.

    Most of the songs sounds the same and the album was so underwhelming like considering the 4 years... purpose is his peak. Can’t even risk that much to offer something different or new. His vocals on most of the tracks is a waste cause of subpar production.

    I just find that there's no artistic growth... many of the songs sound the same and seem to have been copied from other singers... this one just ain't it, and I can't support JB anymore.

    While Bieber's voice still sounds like that of a mid- to late-teen, singing seems to come more naturally to him, and his falsetto pleas are neither bitter nor entitled, strictly genuine and adult.

    Artists can certainly grow up and mature without losing their edge or creative spark. Changes, however, is ultimately a transitional record that finds Bieber navigating how to reconcile adulthood with pop stardom—and discovering that, at least in his case, this merger is a tricky one.
