    The album as a whole is not amusing. The main reason would be the similar sounding trap beats and the songwriting it self. The songs too aren't quite catchy. The artist has potential with a truely gifted voice but the hope he puts them to the perfect use.

    So repetitive. It's literally called Changes yet it is the exact same thing he has done in previous albums, but worse. Yummy still haunts my nightmares

    in my opinion, this album has some good songs like '"Forever'', "Get me" and "Intentions". But the lead single was a awful choice. Is a shallow song with some cringe moments. But I believe that Justin will release something better next time, because he is capable

    This is honestly not a good album. His vocals are pretty decent, but he can’t keep up with them live. His lyrics are mediocre. His beats all sound pretty much the same and they sound like they were 2017 EDM rejects. After a 4 year hiatus after purpose, I expected something better and more mature than this. This is honestly such a disappointing album & a really sad comeback.

    An unnecessarily long album, 16 songs that talk about how he is in love and his married life is quite disappointing, even more after a while without hearing from him except for his scandals. I think the only thing remarkable about this album is that Bieber has come a change for the better and the vocal ability of Bieber.

It's basic and nothing special the writer isn’t saying anything important, now talking about his voice another 50 artists can replace it, no high or low notes just a key that everyone can sing on and follow. All the songs sound like they were written in five minutes by a group of bored 15-year-old guys playing FIFA while eating chips. The songs about sex and jacking off are disgusting, I'm not going to talk about them. After 4 years the writer is in the same place or in one way worse than the previous one. But in my opinion, the real reason why this album is flopping is that the new generation is expecting fun rap and pop and things that make them excited like reggaeton or trap. Young people are finally starting to reject this writer's music and seeing that this isn't 2012 anymore. Every time a song of this artist doesn't become popular the label makes remixes, lyrics videos, emoji videos, rap, trap, and pop versions to save the song from dying. They pay people to stream and play advertisements everywhere, tell people that they'll win rewards if they stream, proving how unfair they make this business for other artists. The power isn't completely in the people anymore just in the label that pays more and buys more people. The lead single of this album didn't got the number one even by the fact that they used all of these illegal streaming ways and that proves how bad the song is. No one will remember this album exists in 4 months, it has absolutely no good reason to exist. We need music to cry with, to love, to jump, to dance, to laugh, to create memories with, that's what this generation needs and that's why we don't need Justin Bieber anymore. If you aren't going to do it right then don't do it. The album is officially unnecessary and irrelevant. It doesn't impact and no one would mind if it had never been released in the first place.… Expand

    Compared to Purpose, a step back. Flat, boring... I wanted something from him. At least, I wanted something similar to his previous work, but it is miles worse. The instrumentals are so basic and his voice comes and goes in a weird way. Every song sounds the same. I don't understand why he put this out after 4 years. So disappointed

Even the best songs on the album don't really stand out for me. It's pretty bad when the best song on the album is "Yummy" (I'm sorry i know it's objectively bad, but its just undeniably catchy). For such a talented, male vocalist, this album doesn't really let his voice shine at all.

    Although this album was definitely a miss for me, I will call it a fluke and still be waiting here for Justin's next release which will hopefully be better.    … Expand

    my poor ears. this lacked innovation. lacked creativity. lacked vocality. lacked musical composition. the beats were taken from a sample-free site, there's evidence on the internet. you can tell this was rushed. and if it wasn't, he is just not a real artist. i really liked Purpose, but this was so so so so bad. I'll be streaming real music instead.

    I’m so glad he did what he wanted to do and not what others want. It’s more of an r&b album then pop. His vocals are amazing and smooth, his falsettos are amazing. The album is more personal to him and his fans. The lyrics are very well written with meanings and emotions, he is also credited as the main songwriter.

    Its a fully R&B influeced album that it has in general great producing team behind it. The beats are on point and the rythm is catchy in many occasions. Now , for Biebers voice it is very good. He sounds perfect and his vocals are amazing. But the problem with this album is that has a very sweetener sound. All the songs are about love and his romance with his wife. It is monotonic and boring some time.
    After all these years you expect from Bieber to show in his music all the struggles he had in the past 2-3 years and meanwhile the found of happiness with his marriage and all this stuff. You expect feelings , passion , pain in the music. Songs that gonna make history. And not necessary hits. Instead of this we hear a full happy Justin talk about his romance all over again.
    Last point i have to mark is that JB has changed his style in 2020 to a more slow and smoother sound , more balads, more low tempo. No hits in the album. Not a song that will make a significant difference. We were used from Biebs to break every single record with his hits. Thats not gonna happen now and its not bad. Just we have to adapt to his new style. He expresss his shelf better that way so just move on and lets enjoy the new chapter... Anyways i dont think that Justin will not make hits anymore. He will team up with some big name or he will release a single out of nowhere and its gonna break records for the radios..
    Overall , i think that its not a bad album. Its a nice album that you can hear while chilling. JB didnt fail. Just didnt make the difference. He had the chance to create a masterpeace , but he chose the safe way. A way that can easily keep him in the spotlightand make his career more sustainable. Good album capable of bringing him some awards and records but not something special. Keep it up BIEBS!!.    … Expand

    People don't realise this is a RNB and blue album so say that they all sound the same but that's on you luv. The lyrics are all written and literally sounds like Shakespeare when he sings about hailey (yummy ain't the only song and that album but y'all acting like is lmao)

    Tried to listen to it with an open mind, but it really didn’t do anything for me. Got bored after a few songs. There’s only like 2 of songs that stood out but other than that it all sound the same to me. I mean I get it he’s trying to create a cohesive album but he tried too hard that almost every song sounded the same. Good thing his voice sounds good though or else I wouldn’t even goTried to listen to it with an open mind, but it really didn’t do anything for me. Got bored after a few songs.
