Literalmente es lo mismo que siempre, no hay evolución, no hay buena producción, composición o algo que destacar.

Sorry... this completely trash. There's no creativity at all. Some songs are just dumb lyrics, same beat and one song is cover by Baby Rexha's demo version. And they don't even give her proper credit. And pink venom completely stealed lyrics from Legendary black artists.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Album filled with numerous samples, majority of the lyrics especially in Pink venom and shut down make no sense. There’s literally no tale to tell, no coordination or story telling. Concepts are nonexistent. The sampled instrumental especially in shut down was ofcourse great. The highlight of the album boiled down to its great visuals and nothing more. Just sounds and instrumentals. Expand

Born Pink représente une nouvelle marche pour blackpink. Et même si ce album semble étranger il nous donne un avant-goût de ce qui est a venir.

The main tracks as always full of repetitive catchphrases, "ratatas", empty lyrics that brag about their life and fame and how they're better than everyone droping brand names all the time. It doesn't speak to me and it's honestly tiring to keep hearing it from them all the time, feels like that's all the group is about. It also bothers me how the two main tracks are essentially the same in this aspect. Typa Girl and Tally also have cringe and imature lyrics in my opinion, but although I like the vocals for Typa Girl, I just can't listen to these songs. Yeah 3x and Hard to Love were the ones that stood out the most to me. Overall it's an album that feels almost roughly done or rushed, it doesn't have sentiment and sincerity and just repeats their formula milking their so called "identity". Expand

Born Pink of BLACKPINK - "All in all, "Born Pink" is a perfect album for getting up and going out, joining Beyoncé's "Renaissance" in a pantheon of music that feels designed for celebrating yourself — whether you're single or looking for love or falling into or out of it — and tuning out anyone who wants to bring you down, especially if your greatest naysayers are the doubts in your head."Born Pink of BLACKPINK - "All in all, "Born Pink" is a perfect album for getting up and going out, joining Beyoncé's "Renaissance" in a pantheon of music that feels designed for celebrating yourself — whether you're single or looking for love or falling into or out of it — and tuning out anyone who wants to bring you down, especially if your greatest naysayers are the doubts in your head." from the Popsugar Expand

Big improvement from previous album. My favorite song is yeayeahyeah and hard to love. I like that they didn't rely on beat drops on this album except for yyy, but it was not the usual bp beatdrop. It was more free.

Álbum que destaca por su mediocridad y cero originalidad. Canciones con letras sin sentido, vacías y ritmos repetitivos siguiendo la misma línea de sus trabajos anteriores.

To my opinion its their best work, we heard their signature style, on pink venom and shut down, awesome sample of paganini, very well fited, but after that they venture them selfs, "yea yeah yeah" takes us to the upbeat 80s with a topic we all strugle, to know if our feelings towards someone are correspended, then we move on to "hard to to love" becoming a solo for Rosé, where I can hearTo my opinion its their best work, we heard their signature style, on pink venom and shut down, awesome sample of paganini, very well fited, but after that they venture them selfs, "yea yeah yeah" takes us to the upbeat 80s with a topic we all strugle, to know if our feelings towards someone are correspended, then we move on to "hard to to love" becoming a solo for Rosé, where I can hear a mix between Taylor and avril, Rosé's voice its always a treat, "typa girl" had am incredible flow, with a hard base, with great cadebce, lets be honest, we all want to be a typa girl, next comes "Tally" although the beat is slow and pop, the topic is one of the most talked amor everyone, and its very eveident in the present day, we just want ppl to stop judging us for what we do and who we do it with. And last "Ready for love", this is a party song, the beat was made to dance to and just let go, and its about to be ready to plunge into falling inlove and wishing for your partner to plunge with you. All in all, for me its great album, the only complain I have is that is just too short, it feels a bit incomplete Expand

Loved this album and I guess my only complain would be that it's too short. But each song showed different skills of each of the members and songs can be fun like Shut Down or Typa Girl or heartbreaking like The Happiest Girl. Other than its length, it was a great experience.

Best album i ever heard in my life, made me dance and cry a lot, they are the best kpop group and theres no doubt. Thanks BLACKPINK for saving music, this album is a masterpiece and there are no skips. I love every single track, Lisa’s vocals are heaven, that girl knows what she’s capable of, shes fire. Jisoo is the prettiest woman alive, and her dance and vocals are no joke

No me gustó esperaba algo mejor. Las canciones están horribles no tienen sentido las letras y lo único por lo que se salvan las canciones son por el ritmo.

Waited 2 years, what a disappointment. Their music has been going downhill everything time they release something new. This album is worst than the one before. The lyrics are cringe and the instrumental can be better.

I mean honestly. There is no growth or maturing with their albums. No direction into the future nor do I expect things to change. 6 years into their career and this album is nothing special. The lead track fails to capture or prove why they are so popular. Popularity doesn't always mean good music. I am so disappointed

At this point you can't have expectations from them.
All songs are recycled and all the "new" ones are heavily sampled to the point that they can't even be called original. Just like before this album also doesn't reflect any of the member

The execution itself often falls frustratingly flat, lacking originality and a clear-cut focus. With its limited scope of musical conceptions, Born Pink, therefore, sounds strangely restricted, as if detained in a confined space wherein it longs to escape.

On ‘Born Pink’, BLACKPINK tread familiar thematic territory for pop music, but the imagery – finding solace from heartbreak at the bottom of a bottle (‘The Happiest Girl’), boasting about being the type of girl you take to your “mama house” (‘Typa Girl’) – isn’t particularly novel, though they have effectively applied a personal touch in the past (see Jennie’s ‘Solo’).

“Born Pink” is occasionally galvanic, and occasionally iterative. When the group does push into new territory — or more accurately, unshackles itself from familiar ground — it doesn’t leave much of an impact.
