    Loved this album and I guess my only complain would be that it's too short. But each song showed different skills of each of the members and songs can be fun like Shut Down or Typa Girl or heartbreaking like The Happiest Girl. Other than its length, it was a great experience.

    Não imaginava mas elas conseguiram se superar com esse segundo álbum, a batida e a musicalidade está perfeita, algumas músicas com uma vibe retrô deixou tudo maravilhoso, não dei nota máxima porque senti falta de mais faixas, de resto ta ótimo.

    their best album the vocally and the versatility from hip-hop to pop to edm, my favorite tracks are “Yeah yeah yeah” I liked the nostalgic vibes and “The Happiest Girl” one of the best ballad songs, an absolute bop! 10/10

    i feel like this album is a step up from their previous work, which is a feat in itself, since the girls always deliver good songs. but, above all, i believe that is a very cohesive album, in which its tracks converse with each other. all in all a good experience. can't wait to see what they put out next!

    Eu vivia uma vida medíocre e infeliz, então num belo dia abri o app de música (como costumava fazer). Quatro anjos sussurraram em meu ouvido e eu não entendi que tipo de revelação era aquela (pois não entendia coreano). Isso foi em 2018 e desde lá muita coisa mudou, eu fiquei curiosa para saber quem eram esses anjos e o que elas tanto tinham a me dizer (pois ainda não entendia coreano). SóEu vivia uma vida medíocre e infeliz, então num belo dia abri o app de música (como costumava fazer). Quatro anjos sussurraram em meu ouvido e eu não entendi que tipo de revelação era aquela (pois não entendia coreano). Isso foi em 2018 e desde lá muita coisa mudou, eu fiquei curiosa para saber quem eram esses anjos e o que elas tanto tinham a me dizer (pois ainda não entendia coreano). Só conseguia entendê-las repetindo BLACKPINK na sua área, BLACKPINK é a revolução.. Ainda me perguntava o que aquilo significava, que revolução? Que área? Busquei conhecimento nas palavras escritas por aqueles anjos e deixadas no formato mais sublime: canções. Canções aquelas que eram como poesias a exemplo de Boombayah, Ddudu ddudu, really e tantas outras... Meu coração foi aos poucos capturado sem que eu percebesse, até que um dia me dei conta de que aqueles anjos escondiam um segredo: elas eram deusas. Desde o princípio tais deusas tentavam me avisar do inevitável destino do mundo, elas estavam aos poucos conquistando o mundo onde vivemos e eu ainda não havia me dado conta.
    Como em Whistle, uma das deusas (Rosé) tem o mundo aos seus pés e faz dele seu trono, hoje em dia tanto esta deusa quanto Jisoo, Jennie e Lisa espalharam sua influência e poder ao longo do globo. Como um veneno rosa que entra pelo nossos ouvidos e intoxica nosso cérebro nos levando para um lugar tão reconfortante... Quase como um colo de mãe, um beijo do amor da nossa vida, um pedaço daquela pizza deliciosa de bacon... Essa é a magia das quatro deusas, esse é o poder que elas tem de nos levar ao paraíso enquanto nos dominam por completo.
    Neste álbum temos não só 8 canções, mas 8 obras primas. Cada música é uma oportunidade de se deixar levar, de sentir o espirito ser preenchido pelo menos um vez na nossa vida. É a nossa bíblia, o modo mais sublime que essas quatro deusas encontram de se comunicarem conosco, arrebatando nossos sentidos, sentimentos, pensamentos e corações. Obrigada BLACKPINK, amo cada uma de vocês. A vida parece menos monótona agora que posso passar horas ensaiando a coreografia de Pink Venom e Shut Down à exaustão e ouvir vozes tão deliciosas cantando para mim que eu posso SIM dizer "foda-se" quando eu quiser, pois eu não preciso satisfazer as expectativas dos outros sobre mim.    … Expand

    When I saw the musics' titles... I'll be honest, I wasn't expectantly about the album. But WOW they surprised me, their vocals are so so so much better, they improved a lot.

    é um álbum que traz uma nova essência do blackpink. não tem uma música ruim ou enjoativa, absolutamente todas são excelentes e viciantes, é realmente algo que vale a pena escutar e indicar para outras pessoas escutarem.

    Blackpink showed a new whole side of the group with born pink, they showed production, vocals, the rap that is in my opinion blackpink's best skill to date, the title song "shut down" demonstrates it well.

    On ‘Born Pink’, BLACKPINK tread familiar thematic territory for pop music, but the imagery – finding solace from heartbreak at the bottom of a bottle (‘The Happiest Girl’), boasting about being the type of girl you take to your “mama house” (‘Typa Girl’) – isn’t particularly novel, though they have effectively applied a personal touch in the past (see Jennie’s ‘Solo’).
