    AMAZING work of art. Each song is embedded with different meanings and experiences. It shows Lana Del Rey’s whole vocal range, artistry, writing skills, and her experiences. I love the groovy feel in Text Book and Dealer. I love the guitar sounding voice of Lana Del Rey in the Living Legend outro. I love her screams in Dealer. I love the way Nectar of the Gods expresses how tired she is ofAMAZING work of art. Each song is embedded with different meanings and experiences.     It's her most personal album til' now, it's so intimate that it feels like you're close to her. Text book, blue banisters, black bathing suit, dealer and thunder are my favorite ones.

    This is Lana's best album. The instruments are wonderful. I've never heard such a versatile piano. Sometimes it sounds like a creepy doll theme… Sometimes it sounds powerful and 2 seconds later it’s fragile again.
    Lana's voice is so diverse.
    She sings, speaks and screams.

    Only Lana Del Rey could ever put 1 minute 15 second trap interlude in between piano ballads. But songs like Living Legend, Thunder, Dealer where she use her voice in a way never heard before is mesmerising. This album is definitely a career highlight.

The most refined Lana has ever been with her signature sound that somehow is different with each new album, but still 100% authentic to her craft. The lyrics of this album share a much more vulnerable side to Lana compared to her more surface level emotional music on earlier albums such as Born To Die and Ultraviolence. Lana goes into fine detail of these happenings in her life to share her a true side to herself. Later we get beautiful tracks that highlight peaks in her artistry throughout her career all in one album.

    The track Black Bathing Suit is a very experimental song with stunning lyrics and storytelling and a grand outro the pushes out Lana’s emotions more than perfectly into song.    … Expand

Apesar de não ser um albúm que se adapta aos requisitos da indústria, atrai bastante o público e a base de fans que Del Rey construi e mantém desde meados de 2010 com "Video Games". Acredito que terá a mesma influência no pop e alternativo que os seus discos anteriores tiveram.

In this album 'Blue Banisters' she does something she hasn't done before. The album reflects her story really well, where she's at now and where she was. The songs 'Living Legend' 'Cherry Blossom' and 'Nectar of the Gods' tell her story extra well since they're about 10 years old.

    She's very experimental with this album and her voice is everywhere. She does everything you would want her to do. In 'Dealer' 'Black Bathing Suit' and 'Living Legend' she's yelling. In 'Cherry Blossom' 'Beautiful' and 'Sweet Carolina' you can hear her wonderful vocals.    … Expand

She talks about turn sadness into happiness, her life experiences, and the love lyrics are so mature too, the song "violet for roses" shows a lot of personal growing and self love in lana, the line "ever since i fell out of love with you i fell back in love with me", that's beautiful. This album is so cohesive and well written but with a new side of her such as in "Dealer" where we can hear a whole new Lana that we never heard before, her vocal performance on this album is such a refreshment. My favorite tracks are the followingAfter a first listen I still can't believe she outdid herself again, but I shouldn't be surprised since we're talking about Lana Del Rey here !     The album is unique in every expression of the word, it is harmonious, Lana, as always, is overcoming herself in every moment of her life and Blue Banisters makes it very clear.

    Não sei descrever o quanto esse álbum foi incrível de ouvir. Na minha opinião, esse é o segundo melhor álbum da Lana, atrás apenas do já clássico Norman **** Rockwell! A maestria da poetisa Del Rey está mais forte do que nunca. Há faixas melancólicas e eletrizantes. Dealer é diferente de tudo que já ouvi e uma das melhores de toda a discografia!

    While the days of Born to Die have long since passed, Lana Del Rey is still seeking paradise, closer now than ever as she turns her search inward, seemingly recognizing that paradise is ultimately found within the best of oneself. Still, if there is indeed a physical Arcadia to be revealed, it has not emerged in its entirety on Blue Banisters. That said, its intoxicating hints are enough to keep seekers thirsty.
