As a Gaga fan myself, I'll try to say this with the least bias as possible. This album isn't perfect. Gaga has honed her pop music craft very well in a short period of time, but this album still has multiple rough edges (see Jewels n' Drugs, Fashion!, Dope), but this is just my opinion. The vast amount of genres she has compacted into this one album is insane and many, many people will not love every track on this album. That being said, Gaga has made this album incredibly cohesive despite the great amount of genres and, in a way, has created "ARTPOP." Sure, it may not be considered art to some people, but it's abstract, and that's what art can be. And, you can't deny that this album isn't pop. Some choruses are very campy (Gypsy) and some verses are a bit wonky (See Donatella -"Just ask your gay friends their advice//Before you get a spray tan, in Taipei") but it is still undeniably Gaga.

Most people won't give this a second listen after hearing the first odd guitar strums of the first track, "Aura", but when you give the album a few listens, you'll find that it is quite a gem. Sure, EDM music is tiring and old, but Gaga has put together a mix of songs that you think wouldn't be cohesive, but it works, for some reason (it's Gaga's power.) While EDM may not be your thing and Gaga can be very tiring at some times, this isn't an album that should be overlooked. It's surely interesting, and there are some very well created songs that should definitely be heard (see G.U.Y., Sexxx Dreams, ARTPOP, Donatella, Gypsy).

As stated by the album closer (and lead single), Gaga lives for the applause. And this time, she has mine.

Excellent album anque is not as relevant as Born This Way or The fame, Though not stop being so good the lyrics are a bit out of place but were offset by the rhythm of the song, the voice of gaga is still very good.

After play the rocker in Born This Way, ARTPOP brings the dance and more pop than ever Gaga. The tracks are all uniques, from the effervescent MANiCURE to exciting Gypsy, all with wonderful lyrics and the unique and booming voice of Gaga. Was a shame that it has flopped, I really loved this album, one of the best of 2013.

ARTPOP delivers the futuristic-pop sound that you expect from none other than the Lady herself. From the individual songs themselves, ARTPOP fails to deliver the successful chart-worthy singles that were seen from The Fame and The Fame Monster, much the same as Born This Way did. As an album itself, Gaga offers probably her best yet. The songs are able to beautifully transition to the next, even despite the often sharp contrast at times. It doesn't matter who you are, there will at least be one song off of the album that you will like. Whether you're a fan of rap, ballads, dance, there is a song for you on ARTPOP.

If you're looking for a crazy album rearing to explode in a magnificent ejaculation of art, the album will no doubt be perfect for you. If you're looking for a few chart worthy songs then I might direct you to previous albums of hers. I hope Gaga in her next album can incorporate her sometimes basic, but timeless songs like 'Poker Face' and 'Bad Romance' in a real experimental album such as ARTPOP, to please both kinds of people. ARTPOP was my favourite album out of the pop divas in 2013, smashing Prism and Beyoncé's self titled album. Whilst the album may have its imperfections, it's definitely ones to be remembered amongst the greatest albums of all times.

By fist listen you might be thinking "some of the tracks are amazing, some are not so amazing, right?" That's what I felt the first time I heard all of ARTPOP. It still has so much creativity and amazing songs. Below is a track listing of ARTPOP with my score out of 10 for each song:

A very very underrated album. It's my third favorite (after Born this Way and the Fame), tied with Chromatica, right now, I highly believe it was ahead of her time.

I think this is the most misunderstood album by Gaga, or even from the '10s. Even if it's not what we all expected, still good. There are so much hits like: Sexxx Dreams, Do What U Want, ARTPOP, Mary Jane Holland, Gypsy. The problem is the hype she made. But still good.

A high quality, well produced electronic album that is definitely under rated. With the exceptions of Jewels N' Drugs and Dope, this album could be kept on repeat and still keep the interest of listeners.

Artpop é um otimo album! Com singles com grande potencial como "do what u want" e "venus", o album mostra profundamente o genero pop como uma forma de arte, um dos melhores trabalhos de gaga!

ARTPOP one of my favorite albums. I listen to it every day, day, dancing at the concert at Aura, G.U.Y., Sexxx Dreams, Applause, a fan of him.
I would not say that all the songs perfect, but all the songs I love.
During the song I would put eight points plus one point from a fan!

One of the most misunderstood and underrated albums of the last ten years. ARTPOP might not be as polished as Lady Gaga's other works, but it is indeed true. De uma coisa temos certeza, quando a Gaga sai da zona de conforto e tenta algo mais experimental, ela consegue fazer coisas realmente boas. Não é atoa que o ARTPOP é o melhor da carreira dela.

I love it. It is a very conceptual and experimental album, too early for its date, which made it not so well received. From 'Aura' to 'Applause' the sounds are magnificent and very pleasant to listen to, for me it is a masterpiece. My favorite Lady Gaga album.

A enjoyable album. With very good songs. Sometimes its songs sounds repetitive, in the plot of the songs, but the musical production and its cool and fun electropop rhythms bring you a enjoyable experience when you are playing the songs.

This Album was ahead of it's time that's why critics and listeners didn't accepted it well. ARTPOP os really diverse lyrically and it's productiion is good enough to blow your mind. This is Gaga's best album to date! Expand

Im surprised to see some negative reviews of the album by some 'critics'. Those 'critics' (who dont like gaga at all and they support other pop artist, and you can see that just by checking their twitter or facebook account) reviewed the album comparing it to others artists album and bla bla bla. Ok, so you dont like gaga? Well, nobody cares. But if you are a 'critic' you should give right reviews, not judging just the cover and not the book.
Regarding the user reviews, well... Im not a katy perry fan at all but im not going to her metacritics page and put negative reviews just because i dont like her. Simply, i dont care.
Dont take to much attention to some reviews, just listen the album and youll decide if you like it or not.
